Pronovias

The Pronovias Fashion Group has absolutely stunning dresses. I loved mine. However, their customer service is horrific. For a time, my dress was lost in their warehouse in NY; then it was sent to a store in New Orleans with the same name as my bridal store in Southern CA. Toward the end, both my bridal shop and I were contacting Pronovias, trying to figure things out. Luckily the dress arrived unscathed. Sure was a nightmare, though.

Dresses look Great on the photos but in reality very poor quality, the beadings look very cheap, but def. fits everyones budget.
i am not going w/ this place as the dresses look cheap.

I was happy overall with my dress, but a little confused/disappointed with the fit. I lined up perfectly with the size 6 on their chart, so we ordered it and the salesgirl at the bridal salon told me I likely wouldn't need alterations. It came, and I hadn't gained/lost ANY weight, but it was at least 3 inches too big in the stomach. The tailor told me there was "only so much he could do" with that shape of dress. That's not Pronovias's fault, but frustrating because if the size chart had been more accurate to the dresses' size/dimensions, then the salespeople at the salon could have warned me that it would be difficult to take in appropriately.

The tailor ended up doing an okay job with it (he did his best under the circumstances), but there was still too much extra fabric in the belly that just couldn't be fixed. It looked like it would fit someone 18 weeks pregnant just perfectly. Kind of a waste, as one of the main reasons I'd chosen that dress was to flatter my little waist. Oh well.

My wedding dress was from this designer. It was cutom made in barcelona, Spain for my height & weight and when my dress arrived very few alterations were made. The material is of high quality.

Beautiful dresses and good quality for the money. I used a Pronovias dress for my ceremony dress and it worked out perfectly.

I went to Pronovias last Saturday for my 1st fitting and I must say it was quite disappointing. I arrived a half hour early for my 2 p.m. appointment only to be kept waiting for 1.5 hrs. I asked the receptionist at the front desk why such a delay and she couldn't really provide an acceptable response. I should of known something was wrong when another bride who was also there to be fitted seemed irate and turn around to aske me if I also had a 2 p.m. appointment.

When I was finally called to be fitted, I ask the young lady if she was the seamstress because she seemed young and said no and told me the seamstress was not at the salon but will eventually meet with her at my 2nd fitting. I was little concerned and asked the young lady if she's had some experience with fittings and of couse she said yes. While she was pinning the hem, one of their sales associates walks in to remind the her that her other appointment has arrived and is ready to be seen and how much longer will she be with me. My blood pressure started to rise and had to interject and state the fact that I had arrived early for my 2 p.m. appointment only to be seen at 3:30 p.m. and now I'm being rushed out the door to accomodate another bride who just walked in. I don't think so. When the sales associate walked out the young lady told me to disregard her comments and that she will take her time to make sure the hem is pinned correctly. We will see at my 2nd fitting if the hem is fine.

It sure make me wonder if I should of just purchased my dress at Kleinfeld. At least when you to your fittings, you meet the head seamstress to discuss any of your concerns you may have with the dress if the dress does not appeal to you at your 1st fitting. So wish me luck ladies and hope the dress looks better the 2nd time around. I forgot to mention that I encountered a problem with my bustier and was asked to exchange it for a strapless bra or a seamless bustier for 2nd fitting. So I hope all goes well so they can pin the upper portion of my gown. Despite the poor customer service that was so unexpected..I like my dress and hope to love it after the fittings are concluded.
