Publix

I provided a picture of my cake for the baker and the cake that was delivered was not exactly what I wanted. The cake was also delivered two hours early making the day more hectic than necessary. I love publix cake and the taste just wasn't what I was used to or expected.

My wedding cake was the BEST tasting cake I've ever had in my entire life, however they didn't get the look of the cake that I wanted right. I left them a picture and a color swatch and it didn't look anything like either. It wasn't ugly just not what I wanted, but again teh taste of the cake made up for my disapointment of the look of it. They also offered me a free cake when I expressed my feelings on how the cake looked nothign like the pictures I gave them. It also worked out that we were able to get two cakes for the wedding (normal wedding cake and groom's cake) for less than the cost of just one big cake.

The cake itself tasted great, white cake with lemon filling. However, I had specifically asked for no "basket waving" on the cake as was pictured in the book and they assured me on several occations that there would be none. Sure enough, when it was delivered to the hall is had weaving all over it. Plus there was smudges and traces of chocolate icing on parts, VERY SLOPPY.

I was very impressed at the flower arrangments for my bridal party and myself. I was able to just browse through a book and flowers in the store, pick out some favs, mention some color ideas and they creatively incorporated all that into beautiful arrangments. They were even able to work with the bakery to put flowers on my cake!

Judy was wonderful to work with. She did everything I wanted and MORE. I told her my wedding colors and she found perfect flowers to match.
