Publix was only slightly slower getting back to me, but it was a brand new store. However, since I was the one that waited until 3 weeks before the wedding to even order a cake, they did amazing. it was beautiful and I'm so glad I had them deliver and take care of everything for me.

Fantastic. Three days before the wedding we ordered 6 of their "fancy cakes". Less than $200, they were beautiful and there was a good variety.

If you are looking for an affordable alternative for your wedding cake, I would suggest going with Publix. After many meetings with other bakery's, I was spending way over my budget to feed 150 guests cake. With my 20% off coupon, simple design, and extra sheet cake, I was way under budget. I decided to get creative and add my own design/decoration. I used flowers from my florist that matched my centerpieces and bought my own toppers. It was delicious, uniquely beautiful, and fit perfectly in my budget. Just make sure to pick the Publix closest to your reception!

The manager was very helpful and offered suggestions. I ordered my cake a week in advance and they had absolutely no problem fufilling my order. Cake was tasty and very pretty too!

You can't go wrong with Publix cake. It was absolutely delicious. It was definitely a great price as well. Highly recommended.

The cake was custom to our tropical theme, it turned out amazing!

I recently had a small destination wedding that was planned in less than two weeks. In keeping things simple, yet wanting to experience all the best there is to a wedding-my matron of honor surprised us with a beautiful cake that was PERFECT! She stated that she was looking for an actual small wedding cake and was told if they had been given a little more notice (she literally picked it up between the ceremony and dinner) they could have accommodated our needs, but they offered her the one she got instead, the cake was not only the prettiest "sunny" yellow I had seen, we were so happy to be able to bring some home to put in our freezer for our one year anniversary!!

Even though Publix is a grocery store, the floral department is top notch. The Bouquets were gorgeous and exceeded our expectations greatly. The florist really knew what she was doing. We saved slightly over $1000 going with Publix. The only drawback is that they do not deliver the flowers. We were able to have someone pick them up.

Beautiful wedding cake and they delivered it. The grooms cake was also cute too, and both were delicious.

I got my wedding cake through this particular Publix because I had worked there previously so I thought that I should be safe in having my cake made there. I was looking forward to my wedding cake more than I was my dress. The cake was very important to me. I ordered it 3 months in advance, a week before my wedding the manager calls to tell me that my topper was discontinued but he ordered another that he thought would look similar. I was like "aww, but thats ok". When I went to pay for my cake the employees had no clue where the order was and also when they found it, it was more expensive than I was told previously, but there was no manager there to explain, so I just paid cause I wanted it done with.

The worst part of all was on my wedding day I got all excited to see my cake as the limo pulled up. I find out from the site manager that my cake doesn't have a topper and it's been sitting in front of all those guests for a while. She had the idea to stick my toss bouquet up there, but anyone paying attention would have noticed it. So that was horrible and I was never notified of that. Also the cake I ordered had flowers made of the icing cascading down the entire cake, but the cake I recieved had some fake looking gum paste flowers stuck in two cluster where I had intended there to be candles. I was so upset, I'm still upset about it. I was going to complain but I didn't want to get emotional over something that is done. So I definately recommend going to someone who specializes in Wedding cakes and not someone who "can also" do them.

The cake was great! And it was wonderful after we froze it and ate the top for our anniversary too!

Our cake was amazing! We ordered it at the Publix in Baldwin Park and had it delivered to the Embassy Suites on International Drive. For the money we paid, the cake was just wonderful! It tasted and looked as good as something from an expensive baker...but it didn't cost what the other bakeries would've charged!
