Publix did a GREAT job with my wedding cake and cupcakes. They were delicious and looked great. We had a red velvet two tier cake for us, and chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet cupcakes for our guests. The frosting was the perfect shade of pink that I wanted and the little flowers on every cupcake were perfect. They even came to my reception area and set everything up with the cake for us. YUMMMMM!

Anna was wonderful! She made us worry free and the cake turned out so beautiful and very very good!!!! Thank you so much for your wonderful imagination!

publix has the best cakes so we have decided to use them and the prices are very reasonable. i have gotten other cakes from publix and was very pleased

We used the Publix Bakery on Hancock and Orange Grove in North Ft Myers since we got married downtown at the Burrough's Home. Everything was wonderful! They worked with me and my budget (kept it under) and was simple and elegant. Best of all, everyone kept telling me how good it was!!! I went with them in the first place because everyone I had talked to, told me it much better than some of the bakeries in town.Plus, I don't even care for cake very much and it was good! :)

I decided to order my cake at publix mainly because the price was so much cheaper. I went in and ordered my cake but when I left I felt that my cake would come back wrong because the person who took my order did not seem to know what she was doing and was not really listening to me. Luckily I received a call the day before to confirm and I was able to make sure that all the details were correct. The cake looked alright, the piping pattern was uneven and it was not exactly what I wanted but it tasted great and everyone loved it.

I think that they have gorgeous cakes. The designer will listen to what you are looking for and specially design it for you.

I LOVE publix. they are amazing. i get everything i need there. i also got all of my food there for the reception. it was a bbq dinner & the cake was so lovly. everyone loved it. they also delivered it to the wedding site for me. i really recamend publix for food and cake.

My dealings with the Publix Bakery (on Pine Island Road & Burnt Store Road, Cape Coral) were quite pleasant. Initially, I was hesitant to use a large chain baker for my cake, but talked to other recent brides I knew and they had only good things to say, so I decided to go for it. In our initial meeting, I brought a picture of a cake I had seen in a magazine and wanted, with a few alterations. The head cake designer said, “no problem” and assured me that they could do it. We gave them the delivery address, gave them the cake topper and that was all we needed to do. Upon seeing the actual cake on the day of my wedding I was in awe. It looked exactly like what I had asked for - it was beautiful and I received many compliments on it. Publix Bakery only needs approximately 1-2 weeks notice before your wedding to make your dream cake, so if you want a beautiful cake on short notice, Publix is a great option.

Buttercream frosting three tiered cake. I just ordered a very plain one and our florist decorated it. Can't beat the cost and the cake tasted delicious (strawberry filling). I highly recommend them... they are very flexible with their designs and what you want.

Publix did a great job on my cake it was one of a kind and super good too. I was use Publix for a cake because they are not over priced and the cake really tastes good.

Publix makes the best cakes no matter what the occasion. The buttercream icing is the best. Other bakeries have icing that taste like lard.

The cake tasted great but it was nowhere near the colors I had worked with the baker on and it was not decorated correctly either. I also thought it was extremely expensive for a tiny cake.

I had to plan my wedding within three weeks and that didn't give me much time to go shopping around for a cake, and because it was so last minute not many could comply with my needs. I decided to try a few grocery store and even Wal-marts cakes were to expensive for my very small budget. I went to Publix and while flipping through the cake book one of the workers came to me right away and was eager to help and she let me know how i could afford a cake and design it myself.

Most people spend SO MUCH MONEY on there cake.. but this review is for Frugal brides, i recommend Publix because they do an awesome job decorating and they taste awesome.. AND it wont eat away at your wallet.

They make our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. However, it was so weak, it mado our cake topper fall over and ruin the front of the cake. They agreed that it was their fault and refunded the cost of the cake so we could replace the topper (250$) so they fixed their mstake, but it couldnt fix what happened at my wedding reception.

We used the Publix in Bonita Springs. Cake was wonderful and exactly how I imagined it. Not one complaint. Delicious!!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cake, but I still wanted our cake to be beautiful and delicious. It was my fiance that suggested we go check out Publix, and we did! I first looked at what they had online, and brought a couple of their pictures with us to the store. The lady there said that she could customize either one (they can do that with any of their cakes), which I was really happy about. We ended up with simple flavors that we loved (chocolate and chocolate and more chocolate with raspberry filling), and didn't spend more than $200!!! VERY HAPPY with that. At our wedding, the cake was very beautiful and I loved how they did our monogram on the middle layer. The cake was absolutely delicious too, and definitely gave us a sugar rush!!

I didn't want the traditional cake and Publix helped me make cup cake arrangements that could be served to all my guests from a larger tiered display. I used both chocolate and white buttercream for a black and white type feel. They showed me how to decorate the display with fresh flowers and I truly felt this gave my wedding more style! I also chose a second bakery venue to do cheese cakes per table so every palate could be pleased! But overall, the true aesthetic effect was supplied by the nice people at Publix on Sam Rittenberg Blvd!

We love the Publix yellow cake with buttercream frosting, and were so excited when Publix said they would bake our cake. We had a dessert buffet with our wedding dinner, so they did three fake tiers of cake and one real tier that we cut for pictures. The baker was so attentive to what we wanted. it looked great.

The cake was delicious! It was also unique and beautiful. The bakers took a design I picked out and altered it to just what we wanted in size and design. Loved it!

ABsolutely wonderful! Best cake I have ever had!!!!! The lady even decorated it with extra designs no charge she didnt even charge me for delivery!!! She gave us the bride zand groom added shells and everything!!!

We ordered a cake from the Publix on Fort Myers Beach. It was beautiful, they were willing to work with us, and it was in our budget...(only $250 for a cake that served 110). The only bad part is that they were late delivering with the cake, which was making me sweat it....Guests loved the look and the taste!!!

I would give them 6 stars if I could. Their carrott cake was incredible. We were able to customize a design with no fuss and the decorator did it exactly to our specs. When it comes to delicious cake it's about taste not price. Publix did it all and there was no stress (but maybe a few calories!)

The cake was gorgeous and delish. The staff at Publix was able to provide a cake of our own design. They also delivered it to the site.

If you want a fancy bakery cake with all the taste and a fraction of the price, just go talk to your supermarket bakery manager. Any of those fancy cakes they offer can be made into a wedding cake. We brought them a picture of a cake we liked and the result was exact! We ordered a vanilla rum cake with canola filling between layers and a butter cream frosting. All the guests were in love and we served 100 people for $375. They delivered to the site and our florist added roses. Too good to be true.

We did a non-traditional heavy appetizers kind of dinner on a double decker boat for our rehearsal dinner. We used Publix for the catering. We pre-ordered many trays and assigned a family member to pick them up for us. It was all ready on time, they helped load the car and allowed us to pay in advance so no one had to worry about it. Again, too easy.

Our cake was delicious and cost effective. It just didn't turn out quite like the picture I submitted.

We wanted a tasteful looking "beachy" cake and that is exactly what we got. The cake and filling was so moist and fresh, and we ate cake all night long!!! Don't be fooled my the Publix website, they are willing to alter the designs shown on the website to meet your tastes, you simply have to go into the store and talk to them about what you do and don't like. They're prices could not be beat!

Our cake turned out beautifully-- and was delicious. The only problem that we had with Publix was that the girl filling out our cake order had never done one before. She figured it out, it just took a lot longer than we anticipated. Oh-- and when we realized, a month before the wedding, that we didn't need as big of a cake as we ordered, they had no problem adjusting the order and refunding us the overage.

Not only was our cake extremely delicious, it was very cost-efficient, and they delivered it with no problems whatsoever!

They were easy to work with, I designed my own cake and they did a good job making it.
