I had my wedding cake done at Publix in Winter Park, FL. I thought the cake was gorgeous! It was above and beyond what I was expecting. Everyone was very professional and was attentive to what I wanted my cake to be. It was delicious too! I would recommend Publix if you are looking for a beautiful, delicious, affordable option.

they were very flexible and worked with me well and you can't beat the price of 200 cupcakes compared to a cake for 200 persons!!

Publix can't do much when it comes to decorative cakes (they have a set book of cakes you can choose from and won't really vary from that). But I just wanted a simple cake for a good value, and I feel like I got that. Their delivery services are great and really reliable - if you order from a Publix near your venue, they'll waive the delivery fee.

I knew immediately that I would use Publix for my wedding cake. Their cakes are always taste wonderful and look beautiful, and my wedding cake was no exception! The cake was beautiful and exactly what I asked for and it tasted great. Everyone kept asking where we ordered it! Some people were shocked to find out that it was from the Publix around the corner.

Hands down, Publix has the best cakes. We tried other bakers around town, and kept coming back to Publix. It wasn't just that they were the cheapest in cost, they also had the most delicious cakes.

We ordered our wedding cake from Publix (St. Augustine Beach) and it was DELICIOUS! No one knew it was from a grocery store. They worked with us to make it exactly what we wanted, we added our own ribbon and they added the cake topper when they delivered it to the reception. Ordering with them was probably the least stressful part of the wedding! We called a month before, went in a week before and didn't think about it till we ate it. We had 3 tier Chocolate and Vanilla combo throughout and the head table tier was filled with strawberries, all with buttercream icing. SO TASTY! I'm not a fan of buttery buttercream, theirs was perfect.

Wedding date May, 09, 2010Publix made a beautiful 3 tiered square cake for me inspired by one of their designs. They were really flexible and let me alter the design of the original cake and bring in my own ribbon. The price was extremely reasonable, and I would buy a cake from them again.

We used Publix for our wedding cake mainly because of the reasonable cost and delicious taste of the cake. We got the "Lifelong Love" cake for about 140 guests... so, the cake was pretty tall. Unfortunately, the cake was leaning during the reception... it never actually fell over, but it was clearly leaning. During the cake cutting ceremony, the piece that I cut actually fell right over, since the entire cake was leaning anyways. Other than that, it was a beautiful cake, the frosting was gorgeous and it tasted great!

I would have never thought that Publix bakery would have amazing wedding cakes but they were absolutely wonderful! We will be purchasing our grooms cake there and they have been amazingly helpful with any of our questions or needs.

The cake was a bit on the pricey side, but looked amazing! Unfortunately I didn't get to eat much, but all the guests loved it. Find a Publix close to your event location and their delivery fees are minimal. Excellent service.

We decided to get our cake from Publix. We didn't want anything really fancy, and we knew that Publix cakes are always great, so we decided to order through them. My wife just brought in a picture of what she wanted our cake to look like, and we selected three different flavors and fillings for the cake. It was very delicious and not dry at all. Our guests also complimented about our cake.

It was reassuring knowing that Publix was making our cake.We have always enjoyed tasting their cakes and eating the pastries form their bakery.They where very professional with the whole designing process and let us have a say in a lot of the details.We loved the final design and it looked amazing when it was finished.It tasted very good and we loved sharing something so delicious it with our guests.Publix did an amazing job and we will continue to purchase from them.

Our cake served up to 75 people and was beautiful with fresh flowers all around it. They delivered on time and it tasted amazing! I look forward to eat our top layer on our first anniversary!

i always buy my food from publix this one store my mother works at as a manger there was one a kind baker who even came back from her vacation one day early so she could do my cake. she always told me that she would do it for me. it was great, white icing, red flower and a little water fonten in the center. they are where a shopping is a plasere.

Publix was so flexible, we were able to take one of their cake designs and change it to fit our needs and our view of what our wedding cake would look like. Plus on top of everything else, the cake tasted great, it was so fresh and moist!

Publix does an amazing job with wedding cakes. They were able to work with us to alter one of their designs to be exactly what we wanted. Everyone commented on how great the cake looked and how amazing it tasted! It was one of the best money saving decisions that we made that day.

The cake was delicious and all the guests enjoyed it!! No complaints at all. I took their cake idea and added some personal choices and they went along with it and the cake turned out beautiful and yummie too!

I didn't want a large ornate cake, but I knew that I wanted something for our guests. We ended up ordering a tower of cupcakes, which was just so fun and delightful for our guests! How can you go wrong with cupcakes? Plus, how can you go wrong with anything from the Publix Bakery?

The service was great. Publix dropped of the cake to the church where my reception was held. The cake was wonderful. It was more beautiful then I ever could have imagined. The bakery manager brought it by herself on her way home from work, and of course I was running 15 min late. We appologized to her a hundred times but she said it was alright, it was my night and I could be as late as I want. They wrere amazing through the whole process.

my cake was beautiful and tasted amazing!! it was what i wanted it was perfect! the only thing i would have to say was not good was the cake was sapost to be at my location @ 2pm it didnt get their till almost 4pm and the publix was 1mile way! but it got their in one peice an i was happy!!

I visited many different cake vendors throughout orlando. I was extremely disapointed when visiting Sprinkles in Winter Park. I sat for almost an hour with out being seen for our appointment. Publix, spent time with our whole family, designed the cake exaclty as requested, and OMG- it tasted like heaven. Here is a tip, most of your party will not eat cake so do not over do it.

The cake tasted AMAZING. Many people said it was the best wedding cake they had ever had....and for $200 for 100 people, that's not bad!! We're saving the top layer for our first anniversary, and they will remake it for free if we bring in our frozen one. Definitely worth checking out.

The florist at Publix was very friendly and helpful. The bouquets, however, were not to my liking. I ordered hydrangeas and they were HUGE. They looked awfully silly when held by petite bridesmaids and myself (as I am quite small). I don't know if this is the fault of the florist, who could have toned them down, or if that is a problem due to the flowers I chose. Also, it was sometimes difficult to reach the florist as she only worked limited hours at Publix.

I really didn't see a need to spend a fortune on a wedding cake- being it was going to gone by the end of the night- so I chose Publix- I knew they always made my other cakes great so I thought why- not? I do not regret my decision. It was a great cake, and it looked fabulous! Obviously your tastings at Publix is not going to be a half of a day affair- but who wants to spend a half of a day eating cake, that by the end all tastes the same anyway? So we spend about an hour tasting and picking out our design and it turned out great! They even delivered it to our venue no problem and I didn't have to worry about a thing!

The flowers as the decoration was actually pretty. The flavor (brown derby) was delicious. However, the top tier fell apart during the first hour of the reception! They had put the flowers on the wrong tiers! So it was too heavy on top, and it just fell down! I also had to order the flowers from one Publix and the cake from another. The florist at the location where I ordered the cake was on vacation. Very frustrating. Plus, you have to pay for delivery by mile, something they don't advertise. For the price, I could've gone somewhere else (like Sprinkles, in Winter Park, FL) I didn't even want to complain by the time the whole ordeal was over.

We got a beautiful cake for about $100 from Publix. With tiers, beautiful icing, the whole shebang. They delivered it to the wedding site precisely on time the day of. And the best part is, . . . it tasted amazingly fresh! Everyone loved it and commented about the fact that wedding cakes, while beautiful ,aren't usually so delicious!

The cake was awsome. did great job with delivery to hotel, and looked beautiful in every way. They dont freeze well so make sure you eat some :)

We got our wedding cake from Publix. You can always count on publix to make delicious cake. I loved it, my hubby loved it and most importantly all the guest loved it.

We got a beautiful cake and had 2 extra sheet cakes for less than $350. They were prompt with setup. Cake was delicious exactly as ordered. I didn't even have to think about the cake, it was there and setup before I realized I had to check and make sure it was taken care of.

Publix is a great place to get a cake if you are on a budget and want a pretty cake that people will enjoy eating. They can work with your budget and your pricing.
