Queen City Ensemble

The Queen City Ensemble is a classically trained string trio comprised of two
violins and a cello.  Our committment is to provide quality performances by professional musicians at an affordable price. Having performed at numerous weddings and social events, we bring confidence and expertise to your special occasion.

We have been performing throughout the Charlotte area for over five years.  Additional instrumentation may be available upon request.

Each member of our trio has an average of 23 years of experience. We are actively performing professional musicians.  Members of our trio have played in numerous orchestras including the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Ballantyne Chamber Orchestra, Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra, Charlotte Civic Orchestra, Asheville Symphony Orchestra, Kingsport Symphony Orchestra and the Western Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. 

As members of these and other ensembles, we have accompanied several world-class musicians including Ray Charles, John Tesh, Sandy Duncan, and cellist Lynn Harrell. Members of our trio have received classical training from Appalachian State University, North Carolina School of the Arts, Florida State University , Aspen Music Festival and University of South Florida.  We have also received training from private instructors at Eastman School of Music, Indiana University, Rice University and the University of Cincinnati.
