Queen of Cakes

Great taste, great value. Appearance was not what I expected it to be. They were one of the cheapest out there and they even made me cupcakes for a majority of my reception along with a small standard wedding cake. The cupcakes were delicious filled with 2 different flavors. White with lemon and chocolate with cherry. However the large cake looked like something that came out of my kitchen, I was not impressed with the decoration and all it was was a simple smooth cake with a pile of cherries on top. But you could tell there were a lot of spatula marks and divets in the side.

The cake here is very delicious!!! This place is a little more on the pricey side but the decorating ability seems quite high.

I really loved the look of Queen of Cakes' wedding cakes. They are so beautiful. And their cakes are VERY unique flavors with a layer in the middle for extra flavor. They have sugary frosting, and I normally do not like sugary frosting, I like the buttery/creamy kind, but their frosting is REALLY good! It's sugary, but done in a good way! Very yummy cake! I am trying to decide between them and another cake place in the Twin Cities!

My brother actually took care of this, I never got a piece with all the confusion and excitement, but it was a peach filling with a buttercream frosting. From what I heard it was very sweet, some said too sweet. I do not like sweets but it was a beautifully decorated cake, I think he said he spent less than 500$.

Our wedding cake is fabulous! It was designed to fit us perfectly - chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted great too!
