I arranged for my centrepieces to be created by Quince's and they were absolutely stunning. They created a variety of submerged orchid vases for the tables and two huge pieces to flank the bar. They were gorgeous.
Valerie was great to work with and very helpful in giving me choices within my budget.
I used the Quince Flowers location on Yonge St. The staff were incredible. They listened well and gave me suggestions. They were very helpful and promised my flowers would be in season flowers purchased from local growers. She completely understood what I was looking for. After giving me a quote she asked what my budget was and then worked with me to ensure that not only did I get all the flowers I wanted, she made it UNDER my budget!
Quince Flowers has two locations, but the one that I went to was located on 2638 Yonge Street. It's a small flower shop, sharing space with Dufflet pastries. If you walk past it, you might miss it because the store front looks more like a bakery than a florist.
I worked with a few people at Quince after I signed the contract, but by 3-4 months before the wedding, I was working solely with Kim. She was really helpful and attentive to what I wanted. They made a minor delivery mistake (miscommunication on my part, I guess) on the day of the wedding, which really stressed me out, but overall, I was very happy with their service and the flowers they provided for me. I had the most beautiful white bouquet of lilacs, roses and peonies with minimal greens. They also decorated the pew ends at the church for me (for a much lower cost than I had received elsewhere), and delivered all my centerpieces to the hotel for me.
Quince was willing to cut my delivery and set up costs significantly by allowing my friends to pick up the bouquets and corsages/boutonnieres for me. Where I felt I needed to make cuts, they also did that happily for me in order to fit my budget. They didn't make me feel bad for wanting to get rid of some items because I couldn't afford them. They were really great to work with!
