R-mine Bridal Couture

I got my Pronovias wedding dress from R Mine during their sample sale. It was wonderful and at a great price. However, they were going to charge me a very large amount for alterations (originally they told me it would be $300, then when I took it in they said it would be $700!). I ended up doing my alterations with a wonderful woman who works out of her home in Lake View Terrace (Anoush 818-378-7018). She was fabulous and incredibly affordable. My vote is "Yes" for dresses, "No" for alterations.

This wedding dress store was absolutely sophisticated and classy. After trying about 9 or 10 wedding dresses, I found the one! I knew immediately what I was looking for and new right away. The woman that helped us too was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for wedding dresses. They had a good assortment and some on sale price. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the final product.It has a nice collection of dresses, which have their own unique styles.Its cost is quite reasonable, I think.

The ring my husband got for me was from R-mine Bridal , and it was a complete surprise. I didn't know he ordered it, but he told me afterwards. From the ring itself, I would have to say that it is a very beautiful and classy ring, looks very high quality.

ummmm, not a huge fan of this store, Felt rushed through and only felt like I could try on a couple of gowns. Ended up not buying here, mostly because of how uncomfortable I felt.

I found them quite accomodating with regard to thier shoes, however, their prices were expensive re: the jewelry selections.

They are liers, they sell you sample gowns and say they are brand new. To bad the bottom of the gowns are all stained and theres no tags on them. HHUUUUMMM you think there trying to lie to you????

They provided my amazing Reem Acra gown but would only do one type of alteration at a time so I had to make multiple trips from Las Vegas for multiple fittings. At the last fitting they placed the sash at least an inch or so off center and sewed it there. I ended up taking the dress to Vegas to have the sash corrected and the hem done.

Dresses her cost anywhere from $3,000 and up and yes they are amazing designer dresses that you see in all of the bridal catalogs; however, when I paid over $4,000 for my dress, I expected some better service so I would feel like I got some value out of it.
Cons:
-The sales people are very persuasive and will tell you anything you want
-The smallest size they have is a 10 and they use clips, so you don't really know what the dress will look like.
-They took my measurements and swore I needed a size 4 and when i got it it litterally slipped off, so I had to spend a lot of money altering it.
-It takes at least 6 months to get your dress and when you call to find out where it is they lie, they kept telling me different information.
In generall I loved my dress and their selection was good, but the whole process could have been more pleasant especially for a small boutique shop.
Just a tip, order your dress early and give them an earlier wedding date so they have it ready for you.

Jennifer Blue helped me find the perfect wedding dress for my figure and for the feel of my wedding. She was friendly and helpful. Their seamstress did an EXCELLENT job with alterations.

I wanted to redesign my wedding dress to better match the theme of our wedding. The R Mine staff seamstress was amazing! She not only had lots of wedding gown experience but was creative and supportive. The dress was a hit! I am very gratefull I found a creative salon like R Mine.

I live in San Francsisco and R Mine Couture is located in Studio city. Anytime I needed to make a last minute appointment to go see my dress the staff at R mine would honor my needs without questions! I bought a beautiful Rivini gown, for a great price and had it altered on site from a very talented alterationist who has experience working on couture gowns in Italy. I also bought my head piece and had a custom veil made by their alterationist. I strongly recommend anyone to trust in R Mine bridal for their wedding needs, they made my Wedding day a dream come true!

I searched high and low for my dress and in the end it was in my own back yard - they have such a slelection of elegant, elegant dresses. Best of all I bought a floor sample, so I paid half price (it was still expensive) the material was fine, it was pretty much a perfect fit so the tailoring was minimal, and it looks fabulous in all the pics!!!

I got my gown and did my alterations at the Studio City location. I saw some negative reviews about their customer service, but did not encounter anything like this at all. In fact, I have gotten two cards in the mail from my sales person (Jennifer Blue) since making the purchase. Not only has she been wonderful customer service-wise, but she also recommended I try on the dress that ended up being "the one." She really understood not only what I was going for, but also what would look good on me. Regarding alterations: while I am sure I could have found cheaper, it was just more convenient to keep everything on-site. Plus, Anna (the seamstress) did an amzing job of bringing the dress in everywhere (I had lost 20 pounds since the time of purchase) and even threw in a little upgrade for me just to be nice.

Long story short, don't let the negative reviews fool you, as I (as well as two other brides I know who recently purchased their dress there) had a perfect experience with a huge selection of high-end designer dresses, great customer service, and flawless alterations.

They had a lot of dresses and I didn't feel pressured by Stephanie at all to buy any of them. I came back twice afterward to be sure and every time they had the right balance of leaving me alone and being there for me to make a decision. It was nice. I love my dress. The best part, however, was probably the alterations. The women they have doing alterations are both the NICEST people and the MOST AMAZING seamstresses. They took my dress and truly made it mine, like it was built for my body. It was fantastic!

i bought my dress at r-mine and was very happy with it. they also stored it for 6 months before my wedding and took care of the alterations for me. the alterations were very expensive, but done well. i was very comfortable in my dress on my wedding day!

I actually went to R-Mine's Studio City (CA) showroom. They have an impressive collection of wedding dresses. I happened to purchase an Amsale Blue-Label dress, and it was stunning. Try and buy the samples on the floor if you can, they are anywhere from 20-50% off, and they will do the tailoring for you. As for the tailoring, my dress was fitted to perfection. My minor complaint was that they put the wrong bustle on my dress (I just didn't care enough for them to change it since it still looked nice).

The ladies at R-Mine in Glendale were very friendly and helpful. I had been to a few other bridal salons before going there and found that they had the nicest collection of gowns. I also think they had a better variety of styles. Prices seemed to be competitive with other places. The ladies were not pushy at all and really paid attention to what I was looking for and what I didn't like while I was trying on different gowns.

I had the best experience. They were so sweet and helpful and accommodating. I purchased my dress with them from across the country and they knew that they would only have 4 days prior to the wedding to do all my alterations, and they got it done! They were incredible and I recommend them to anyone.
