Ramu and his crew did such an amazing job at our wedding! Ramu was professional, on time, and by far the most entertaining Wedding DJ I have ever seen. Ramu and the Crew are amazing! We booked them first because we went to another wedding that they DJ'd and had to have them! Ramu was always quick to get back to us and really took the time to explain all of our options. He is very, very professional and also a great guy so it's so fun to work with him. Your DJ can definitely make or break your wedding since this is what gets everyone up and moving. And he knew how to do that all night. If the dance floor started to clear out at all, he would switch up the music and get everyone back up there right away! I as the bride had to change my shoes and go out for air numerous times because even I couldn't stay away from the dance floor. We also rented the photo booth and I highly recommend that as part of your package. They give you a scrap book with all of the pics taken in the booth as well as allow your family/friends to write stuff next to their pictures, it is a great keepsake and people love looking at it when they come over!

All I can say is that they made the event everything I had ever dreamed of. I'm not sure how I would have done it without them. My wife and I hired Ramu and the Crew as our DJ for our wedding and honestly could not have been more pleased. They provided DJ services, uplighting, photobooth, and live text for a unbelieveable value. Ramu is as good as it gets as a DJ and MC. He was great at keeping people dancing and he was flawless in his mixing and song sequencing. Prior to procuring their services, we found ourselves reading these very reviews (which are 5.0 across the board); so needless to say our expectations were extremely high going into the wedding. But even with the bar set that high, we were absolutely blown away by all aspects of the service.

DJ Ra-Mu and the Crew were great! The package that was used included the photobooth, two tv screens for texting and watching the photo booth photos and uplighting. All guests had a great time and there was a wide variety of ages that were on the dance floor all night. I am not one for words, but I can sum up “Ramu and The Crew” pretty easily.
Professionalism and Perfection is what they are all about. Ramu and the Crew had everything we asked for and contributed in the success of our wedding. There are wedding DJ’s and then there is “Ramu and the Crew”. If we did not use them, I know for sure that our wedding would not have been the same. I will be handing out their cards to all of my friends who will be getting married in the years to come. A close friend of mine is actually using Ramu and the Crew this summer(2012), and did not know that we hired him. My friend was amazed on how professional and well equipped the DJ’s were, needless to say he is excited that he made the right choice.

My wife and I hired Ramu and the crew as our DJ for our wedding. It was honestly hands down the best investment as far as vendors go. We looked for a few months for entertainment for our wedding and no vendor really stood out until we met Ramu. Immediately we could tell he had the type energy we wanted at our wedding. The days of a DJ just being a DJ are over and Ramu and the crew understand this. Ramu's all inclusive package came at a fraction of the cost compared to other area DJs that were charging for their DJ service alone. Ramu included DJ/MC service, uplighting (he made our reception hall look amazing!), photobooth (a HUGE hit at our wedding..the line was all the way out of the reception hall and everyone could not stop talking about it), live texting (Everyone and I mean EVERYONE had a blast with this neat feature that no other DJ provides), a digital slideshow, a live drummer who played throughout the night and non stop music. We set the bar high for Ramu and let him know we had relatives from Canada that are accustom to elaborate weddings and not only did he meet them he exceeded our expectations and blew away our Canadian guests. My parents and my wife's parents are still getting calls saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended and asking us for Ramu's contact information. Ramu had my 81 year old grandmother on the dance floor shaking her tail feather. Our night was everything we could have dreamed for and the biggest reason for that is Ramu and his staff. I have even considered getting divorced and marrying again just to hire him again. We want to give a special thank you not only to Ramu but also his incredible staff! You guys gave us an unforgettable night!

I just want to thank DJ Imho with Ramu and the Crew for making my reception by far the best... PERIOD! I am an events coordinator at the Country Club we had our reception at and I see dozens of DJ's come in on a regular basis... What a fantastic investment! my husband and i spent months looking for the entertainment for our wedding and happened to come across Ra-Mu and "his crew" (lol) at a friends wedding last summer. Let me say, that his services are not matched by any other company in all of new england. Trust me! He was exceptional!
Between the full set up, inclussive of uplighting, televisions, an awesome and hilarious text message program (where guests can text message their thoughts and well wishes to the screen), a digital photo slide show, and the non stop energy and music proivded by the DJ, i was blown away. We used Ra-Mu for their photo booth services. We had already booked our DJ before I met him but, I'm sure he is an amazing DJ as well. They were so easy to work with for the photo booth. The two attendants they had were so sweet and kind. Our guests had a great time being silly with them in the booth. The scrap book we received at the end of the evening is so wonderful! Ramu is extremely responsive, and you don't need to worry that he will do exactly what he says he will do. He graciously met me to supply a projector for our slide show as a favor. I wouldn't hesitate for an instant to call him if I need similar services in the future.

DJ Ramu and The Crew went above and beyond anything we could have imagined!! During our first meeting, Ramu said that he would get everyone out on the dance floor, and he did just that. My uncle, who never dances, was up dancing!! All of my guests the next day said that the best part of the whole day was the DJ.

At the reception, Ramu did an amazing job with up-lighting! Our main color was purple, Ramu turned a beige and green room into a purple palace!! The "text-monomials" was a great touch, even though our guests were too busy dancing to really use it!

DJ Imho, of Ramu and the Crew, Did a wonderful job DJ'ing our wedding. The planning process went very smoothy, he was very receptive of what we wanted for our wedding. Our reception area was a little difficult, we had 2 spaces, Imho did a great job of getting all our guests up and dancing in the other space, he was very creative about it! He also was able to find music that suited all our guests perfectly, and still stay within the limits of what my husband and I wanted to hear at our wedding- and kept everyone dancing all night! To give a quick discription of RaMu's services they are better then I ever imagined.

When me and my wife started looking for a DJ we did alot of interviews. We had friends, family, and alot of professionals within all different price ranges. We decided on RaMu because of the overall value of what we were offering but more importantly we thought the DJ was the most important person we hired for our wedding. Some of the DJ's we interviewed were asking double what RaMu wanted.

Me and my wife wanted a DJ who could keep people dancing and provide a fun and exciting atmosphere. RaMu exceeded anything we imagined. The text messaging and the videos were huge hits people are still talking about them. His level of professionalism was exactly what i was looking for. His techniques were original and worked.

I can't say enough how fantastic Ramu is! Throughout my whole planning process, he was more than willing to answer all my neurotic questions and he was always very quick getting back to me. He has so many different and creative ideas (uplighting, tv screens, video love story, photobooth etc) and is willing to go above and beyond to make your vision a reality! I was very into my decor and he matched his uplighting perfectly to my theme, made a beautiful monogram for our dance floor and was incredibly flexible (we had to change our reception venue 3 days before the wedding due to a power outage, and not only was that not a problem, but he went and did a walkthru of the new location to make sure he knew what to expect). He totally understood what kind of vibe we were looking for and man did he deliver! Every single one of my 200+ guests told me how incredible they thought he was, even the dinner music was amazing! He got every last one of my guests on the dance floor! All I can say is thank you thank you thank you for making our wedding absolutely incredible!!! this is the complete package: lighting, photobooth with book and props, and dj. if you try to get these seperate it will be a fortune, but with this company the price= savings. Having them do are wedding made things so easy and so cheap. they are worth every penny

As a groom, I wasn't entrusted with too much of the wedding planning besides the DJ. Thankfully, I had been exposed to Ra-Mu and the Crew through a friend's wedding a few years ago in the Boston area, so the choice was very easy. Knowing what Ra-Mu is capable of, I didn't hesitate to reach out and contact him to ask if he'd be willing to commute all the way to Holyoke, MA from Rhode Island for a gig. Thankfully, he was available on our date.

From the initial contact all the way through the post-wedding communications Ra-Mu was punctual and customer-oriented. He accommodated our needs prior to the ceremony (logistics of meetings) and during the ceremony. Ra-Mu went above and beyond with the additional services provided--the text message live was popular with our guests, and the uplighting created a fantastic mood for our night wedding. It also looks great on our photos.

Communication was always clear and open. We knew what Ra-Mu needed to know to make our day special, and if we had a question or request he was always available by phone or a quick e-mail response.

The value was superb; there are a number of DJ's with comparable pricing in the area that would come nowhere close to providing the additional services that were provided.

The wedding itself was a lot of fun and that was mostly thanks to Ra-Mu and Orlando's efforts. Our guests are still mentioning the fantastic DJ that we had. I personally can't remember a wedding where as many guests were dancing at the end of the night as there were at our wedding. Ra-Mu was engaging with all the guests and made sure everyone was having a great time.

Finding Ra-mu was serendipitous as we weren't looking for a DJ when we saw him at Misselwood a year before our wedding. During the planning process, Ra-mu was always available via phone or email to quickly respond to any questions or ideas always striving to make each event a unique experience. The uplighting, song choice, "name that movie," photo slideshow and especially texting were an huge hit for all of our guests. All of the extras that are included kept the guests involved and engaged for the entire reception. By getting to know us and our likes and dislikes, Ra-mu made sure that no detail went unnoticed from the music to the announcements, everyone was always laughing.
The truest testament is the next day when guests from age 9-99 were commenting on the music choices, a rarity at most weddings when every guest found at least one song to get up and dance.

In a business where you are constantly being nickle and dimed, Ra-mu and the Crew (can't forget Orlando) provided fantastic service, unique touches, more extras than any other DJ at a value that is non-comparable.

The photobooth was the best idea for favors! Everyone loved it we had to cut people off the end...they just couldn't stop! The attendants were friendly, polite, and professional! Ra-Mu and the Crew was absolutely phenomenal to work with! Ra-Mu was extremely professional, communicated with us well and did his best to make sure our experience was exactly what we were hoping for. He was fabulous with quickly returning emails and phone calls and made us feel as though our wedding was his priority, which is exactly what you need from a wedding DJ. He provided all of our wedding's uplighting and made the room look exactly how we had planned. The photobooth was a huge hit and everyone was excited to bring home something like that from our reception. Ra-Mu was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond for our wedding. All our guests were blown away with the continual entertainment and personal touches that Ra-Mu was able to including in our reception. It truly made for an incredible night. Guests were dancing until midnight. We had numerous people tell us it was the best wedding they'd been to. The additional services including uplighting, slideshow, virtual texting, and video love story made our wedding unique and personal. We had a great time at my friends wedding. I have never seen such a dynamic and enthusiastic DJ before. He truly takes control of the event and kept the music flowing. He is a great speaker and very professional. I would recommend him to everyone.

We hired Ra-Mu Crew (Dj Imho) not knowing enough if they can play dance Indian Ethnic weddings. To our surprise they have quite a variety of Indian, Punjabi and American music. DJ Imho is one of the nicest persons you can come across in your life. He is talented, flexible, and most importantly very professional. He even gave us Up-lighting, video book (love story)for bride and groom and also TV showing video of the dance music at no cost. Their price was very reasonable when you compare with the Indian DJs we have talked. Overall we are quite happy with the services and DJ Imho gave us a beautiful memory of our daughter's wedding.

Dj Ramu recently DJ'd our wedding and he was AMAZING!!!!! We honestly feel that he made the party and if we had another DJ it probably wouldn't have been the awesome time that it was! I hired Ramu to DJ my wedding and it was the best decision I made in the whole planning process. I have to say that Ra-mu and the Crew will go out of their way to make sure your once in a lifetime event will be unforgettable. We hired DJ Ra-mu to be our DJ/MC for our wedding. We had a very diverse group of guests, many who were very conservative and of many different cultural backgrounds. Ra-mu and the crew did an outstanding job. They were very professional, kept the crowd going and made sure we were the center of the wedding. We never had a dull moment and people were very impressed with how tasteful he was. We had a very conservative crowd including ourselves but Ra-mu and his crew made it fun, got everyone up, moving, laughing, and just having a great time. They made sure to follow our request as far as things we wanted and did not want for our wedding. Ra-mu is very articulate and he will make sure to pronounce difficult names correctly. The up-lighting really illuminated the room beautifully. The Photo booth and the text-messaging service were big hits. Our biggest recommendation is if you decide to hire Ra-mu, let him know what you are ok and not ok with but let him take care of the rest. He really enjoys what he does and will follow your request faithfully but he has so much experience and ideas that he will bring a great deal of enjoyment to your guest, classy and/or modern, while still making it all about you. If you are thinking of doing an event you should consider Ra-mu and the Crew to be your top choice.

I have to say I was skeptical when I first found Ra-Mu on Wedding Wire because he had orders of magnitude more reviews than any other DJ in the area and they were all 5 stars. So I thought, he must be getting his friends to write bogus reviews or something. But I decided to contact him anyway and see what kind of feeling I got in speaking with him. He was great from the start. He emailed or called me immediately and he was very responsive to all of my questions or concerns. He did not try to up-sell us on anything - his price was his price. Also, he pointed me in the direction of links of informal videos his crew had taken of weddings he had done recently and everyone seemed to be dancing in every one of them.

All the planning leading up to the wedding with him was smooth. He even went out of his way to drive to CT to meet with us over Christmas. (We live in California and were visiting family and that was the most convenient way for us to meet up with him, even though it was a drive for him.) He called me or emailed me more often as the wedding got closer to ensure all the details were spot on.

I was getting ready as he was setting up so I don't know what was involved with all of that, but everything was in order throughout the day so he was obviously prepared. He brought three assistants with him (one was his brother Imho) and they were equally as professional. He had tried to convince us to get the photo booth for our wedding but we doubted that it would get used so we said no thanks. He brought it anyway and it turned out he was so right. It was a hit - even the oldest folks in our group got some fun pictures taken. He's going to put all the pictures on a CD for us so we can have copies of them all!

Our wedding ceremony was at 2PM and the reception started at 4PM, continuing until 10PM -- a long reception. Ra-Mu definitely had a task to keep the celebration going until we ran out of time at the venue, and he kept the place packed until the end.

Bottom line, the wedding was so much fun and the music and DJ crew had a huge part in it. They played the right mix of music based on what we asked for and added in stuff we hadn't thought to ask for. He was responsive to requests and seemed to be having fun doing his job, which was contagious. We would highly recommend him! And even though he is based out of RI and we had the wedding in NH, he never had an issue traveling up there and didn't charge us traveling fees either.

It was a fantastic wedding with a great DJ! If you can book him, do it!

Ramu has worked two weddings and a birthday for us and we have attended 3 weddings where he provided services for friends. Ra-Mu made our night one to remember. People that attended said it was the best wedding they had been to in years. Ra-Mu really knows how to feed off the crowd and play the best music for that group, unlike some DJ's who have a generic playlist and keep playing songs even when everyone leaves the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed until 12am and our wedding was on a THURSDAY NIGHT! No one wanted to leave and I believe Ra-Mu made that happen. I would highly recommed for any type of event.

Ramu and the Crew were exceptional.They were professional, courteous and on time. They managed to get the most people on the dance floor than I have ever seen at a wedding. Ramu is not only a DJ but a comedian and MC for the night. You would have to be crazy not to look at these guys for your special event.

Ra-Mu was amazing. All of my guests commented on how he played the perfect music for every part of the reception.
