Rabbi Jerry Fisher

We needed to find a Rabbi willing to do an interfaith wedding, and Rabbi Fisher was highly recommended to us by friends. In fact, he was my DH’s Rabbi years ago – too funny! We met with him and instantly loved him. He is so easy to talk to, and very respectful of an interfaith couple’s special situation and needs. He gave us a complete packet full of sample passages and readings, and we chose which ones we liked best, and customized our ceremony. He included each and every special request that we made, and was wonderful on our wedding day! So many people have told me what a beautiful ceremony we had, and its all due to Rabbi Fisher. Highly Recommended!

I liked Rabbi Fisher, but I did not feel comfortable with him. He certainly was as wonderful, kind, and helpful as others have stated, and did convey he would do anything we wanted. However, he went off track w/ all these stories that had nothing to do with us or our wedding. I may have a patience problem, but the fiance and i are both very busy people, so we were unhappy about spending an hour and a half meeting with someone when it only needed to be about 45 minutes or so. I was worried he would do the same thing in our wedding. I guess I will never find out. Clearly not the right fit for us, but a very nice man.

He's no longer with Valley Outreach, but he's still performing ceremonies. I just signed up with him - seemed really nice!
