From the minute I met Rachael and saw her amzing work, I knew she was the one to capture our special day for us. Her style was just what we were looking for, and she was wonderful from the first meeting. She is very professional and made us feel totally comfortable with our engagement session as well as the wedding day. It was a pleasure to have her share in our day and be a guest at our wedding. When it came time to view our photos from the day, she had us over to her studio where we got to view a slideshow with a glass of wine. Very nice! We were floored at how fabulous they turned out. She truly captured the feeling of the day. Rachael is an incredible talent with a unique style. We have no idea how we are going to choose which ones to put in our album. Rachael is definitely worth every penny. Thank you so much Rachael!

Excellent pictures and a ton of them to choose from. Our photographer kept us all at ease and having fun! There were so many pictures and I didn't even realize he was in the room! Absolutely great!

Rachael is simply awesome. She did a spectacular job for us at our wedding. She captured all the moments we wanted her to capture, and did a beautiful job. Not only is she a great photographer, but she was fun and so genuine to be around...which actually makes the photographs better--I think our pictures were so good because we felt so comfortable around her. Also, she was so open and flexible with our changing needs. A++

Philosophy:
Your experience is everything to me. From the moment you contact me it's about you. I take the time to listen to your needs and desires. How do you want your wedding day to go? What types of photographs are you looking for? And what do want to do with the photographs after the wedding, that is the ultimate goal right?
I'm 100% hands on with all my clients. Need someone to help figure out a wall display of images, perfect I'd be ex-tactic to help!
Being your wedding photographer is so much more then just being there for the wedding day or even the engagement shoot. It's about giving you the best experience possible and hopefully gaining a friend along the way.
Each couple and wedding is unique. I love figuring out what makes each couple tick and then photographing them in a way that works for them.
Consider me, your personal photographer for as long as you'll have me. :-)

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Is your media preference film or digital?

I primarily shoot digital, but I love to play with film. I almost always bring a toy camera to all weddings and engagement sessions. I love medium format film and how a toy camera can be completely unpredictable.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

The photography community is fantastic and I have a list of photographers that would be there in a heart beat. If there is an emergency someone will definitely be there to photograph your event.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I shoot Nikon cameras. Typically I have one camera body on me, with several lenses and flash is needed.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

I always have a back up camera body.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

You can definitely had additional hours if you like. Even the day of, if necessary. Additional hours are $350 an hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I generally only take one break while the bride and groom are eating. And I do require that I have some kind of meal as well during that break.

Do you charge for travel?

A travel fee is added only if your venue is over 50 miles from Denver. Then it's a flat rate of $150.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Proofing is available online after 4 weeks.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

All packages include a disk of high resolution images of the wedding. You have full rights to print any images. I retain the copyright to use the images in my advertising.

What kind of albums do you offer?

All packages come with a basic 9x12 album. You can upgrade that album to something larger or a different brand if you choose.

When will the client get the final album?

The delivery of the album is dependent upon how quickly we can finish and approve the design. Typical turn around time is 10 weeks.

Additional Advice

What can we do to get the best possible images on our wedding day?
Always remember to love on each other! Hold hands, kiss, snuggle, don't be afraid to show everyone how in love you are! Weddings that reflect who the couple is and what makes them special will make for the most memorable wedding for you and your guests. And best of all it will show in the photographs!

Are we compatible?
Not everyone likes to have their picture taken, I'm one of them, but I make it my mission to make it as pain free as possible. And maybe even have a little fun too. I love what I do and I want all my clients to walk away from their wedding experience with a new friend. Life's to short not to enjoy every moment with the people around you!

The best advice I can give in choosing your wedding photographer is this.
1. LOVE their work. If you get excited about seeing someone else wedding photos, you'll love yours.
2. Have a connection with the photographer. If you get along with me and we laugh and have a good time at a 'meeting' we'll have a great time later at the engagement session and ultimately your wedding.
