Radisson Paper Valley Hotel

Jen at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel was so helpful to us! We booked our wedding 16 months in advance with another coordinator and other contractual items, and she provided for us what was promised to us a year previous. We did not have to pay to rent the beautiful courtyard, and our food minimum was waived and we had the beautiful Salon B for our wedding- it was gorgeous! We had reserved the Empire Room and was given Salon B without a food minimum, it was great:) She was there on the wedding day to ensure everything we needed was given to us. The entire facility is beautiful and I highly recommend it. Going to the tasting for the food items was very helpful, I recommend them as well. If I had any questions, all I had to do was call or email and it was taken care of.

We had a lot of out of town guests who stayed anywhere from 1-3 nights at the hotel and we stayed three nights. Everyone was very happy with the service. Hotel staff was more than accomodating for early check ins, late check outs, and any services we requested. Our ceremony was held in the courtyard and our reception was in ballroom CD. Everything was perfect and staff was amazing! So glad we booked this site! Highly recommended! :)

I had my wedding reception at this hotel this past June (of '08). It was perfect! We had fruit and veggies out in the courtyard for people to snack on, along with a bar for drinks. Then we had everyone move into one of the ballrooms for dinner, which was amazing. They helped us out a lot by setting up many things for us ahead of time. We rented tea light candles and square mirror plates for on the tables from them as well. They gave us a card box to use, complimentary room for the bride and groom (the night of), 2 extra complimentary rooms (for the night of), a block of rooms at a discount for our guests, and a room set aside for gift opening the next day. Their was always someone around so if their were any problems we could fix things asap. Luckily there were none. I highly recommend it. Its very beautiful there.

Private banquet room RED CARPET SERVICE for my wife's bridal shower. The wedding event staff at the hotel was the best they met every need we had. They provided the food and beverage and clean up of everything. They waited on us hand and foot.

Overall, I had a good experience with the Paper Valley. We did a Friday wedding, which got us a TON of deals (I highly recommend doing that). The beer and food were overpriced, but we did a buffet style using various hours dourves (spelling?) to save money; instead of $20 per plate, we cut it down to $13 per plate (with 250 people, that is a lot of money). We had a pasta station with three kids of pasta, a cold vegetable salad, some beer sausage things (for my husband) and bread. Everyone seemed to like the food, especially because they could pick how much they wanted. The beer was $225 per half barrel! If you are doing open bar and your family drinks a lot, be prepared. The first coordinator we had was terrible; she never got back to me and always tried to change my mind so I would spend more money. She went on maternity leave and the new lady was quite nice; however, since we had already finalized everything, I don't know if she would have done the same. The first coordinator also told us a few things, but didn't document it or follow through, so it was a good thing we asked the new coordinator right away about them, so she could fix everything. The hotel was very accommodating to decorations and set-up and even let the wedding party check into their hotel rooms at 9am the day of the wedding (which was so helpful!). All in all, it was a pretty good experience, but could be very expensive.

We had a great experience for our wedding reception at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, WI. Not only did they work with us after we changed our wedding date, they let us set up the reception hall the Friday night before our reception, we had some family issues and they brought a meal to a guest's hotel room, and they let us continue the dance after midnight while they cleaned up the tables, one of the waitresses saw that I did not eat a lot at dinner (due to nerves), so she boxed up my meal and reheated it when we were ready to go back to our hotel room (and gave us free cheesecake)!!! We were able to get free hotel rooms for our parents and of course us as the bride and groom of our wedding night. Then on our year anniversary we received a $50 gift certificate to Lombardi Steak house and a free hotel room for the night. The Paper Valley made our wedding very memorable and considering all the other weddings going on that night, they sure did make sure that everything ran smoothly. Very professional and friendly! I highly recommend!
