A Raisin in the Sun Photography

Jirel and the rest of the crew from A Raisin in the Sun Photography are the absolute best. From the very beginning they were so professional and helpful. We had our engagement shoot with them and they photos were better than I could've imagined. The wedding photos themselves are just unbelievable. Jirel was so fun to work with on the wedding day - he kept me smiling and at ease the entire time. I am so happy we decided to go with Jirel and A Raisin in the Sun.

I selected this vendor because the owner seemed very skillful. Our pictures are beautiful, however the customer service is HORRIBLE! It is nearly a year since my wedding and I have no pictures to remember our day. I have sent countless voicemails and emails begging for assistance and there is no response.
Please do not use this vendor! They have been rude, unprofessional, and completely irresponsible.
AGAIN.... If you ever want to see your memories DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!
I give them ZERO Stars because the beauty of the photographs is completely lost in the misery I am enduring.

THEY ARE AWFUL! DO NOT USE THEM. Unprofessional, no follow though. Three years later and we have YET to get our album. He created a nice layout. Countless edits later he then asks for $1000 more because he said it was over our contracted amount. He should have said that when he started creating it. Not create it THEN ask for more money. That is FRAUD. That was THREE YEARS AGO. He keeps asking me to reduce pages. Then calls weeks later and asks for MORE pages reduced. He only calls me the bride he avoids my husband. The pictures were okay, he adding pictures HE wanted in the album and did not add some I wanted. He has called me a "bridezilla" for demanding we get our album as well as correcting his work that was not up to our standards (mismatched fonts, quotes we never asked for etc). I just want an album we have no pictures from our wedding in 2006 and it is 2009. He is the worst vendor we dealt with and I HIGHLY suggest you do NOT use them.

I was married in 2005 and used A Raisen in the Sun for my photographs, Jirel was the photographer. It is now April 2009 and I have yet to recieve any pictures from these con-artist!!! Not only did I give them more money in February to finish my photos, after I did I have had zero luck in contacting them or getting a response from countless emails and phone calls. We spent $100k on this wedding and I would have liked to have some pictures to remember the occasion but it looks like it is not going to happen. If you want photos of the most incredible day of you life up until that point I strongly suggest you choose another vendor.
