Rancho Capistrano

Rancho Capistrano was an absolutely wonderful and amazing place to have our wedding. Not only is the venue beautiful, but it is also a great bang for your buck. The layout of the reception area, with 15 guest rooms surrounding it, created a party "all night long" with all of our family and friends. The only drawback on this place is they had pretty strict rules on no liquor on the premises, and somewhat strict guidelines on the layout and itinerary of your wedding day. Also, some of the rooms our guests stayed in didn't have working Air Conditioner, for which we were fully reimbursed. Overall, a great place to get married if you want to be outside. No major complaints.

This is the BEST place to get married. Kim and Chelsea were amazing. The location went through several changes this year but they kept the brides informed of changes and did everything possible to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. The location is beautiful. We had Mary Jane as our event coordinator and she made sure our timeline was kept. Everyone kept complimenting the wedding, they loved the intimate feeling of the location and they all said they had a great time.

This is the most beautiful place in Orange County to have a wedding! It has everything, a lake, a historic mansion, fountains and a western looking hill. There's a georgus gazebo in the middle of the lake too. I think their pricing is moderate, and you get a lot for the money and don't have to do a lot the day of. The other great thing is you can have your rehearsal dinner there and stay overnight in a suite overlooking the lake.

Rancho Capistrano is a beautiful setting for a wedding. They have a pretty lake and nice Spanish buildings. The surroundings make for beautiful pictures! You can have your ceremony and reception here. They have a caterer on site. The price is reasonable for the desirable Orange County location. The wedding planners are very helpful and made everything run smoothly.

Rancho Capistrano was an amazing venue! They worked very well with me. When I booked them, they gave me a list of vendors who they would recommend which was very helpful. Every vendor that I used said that Rancho was there favorite place for weddings. The photographer loved it, the DJ loved it and my florist loved it. The flow of the evening is just so smooth and they really have everything down to a T. The food was amazing and everyone loved it! The only downside is that you can't taste the food prior to the wedding. It didn't matter though because it was fabulous! We had stuffed almond chicken. We paid extra for a coordinator which I highly recommend! I worked with Mary Jane and she made sure that I had nothing to stress about. I wouldn't have changed one thing about our wedding. It was amazing!

I LOVE this place! I have designed and planned 4 different weddings at this venue and loved every single one. What an affordable way to feel like you are a million bucks! The secluded, large estate feel gives every bride the backdrop of her dreams.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and I absolutely loved everything about it. The scenery is beautiful and the pricing is reasonable.

I have photographed a few weddings at this site and I think it's just great! The staff is professional and accommodating, which makes my job that much easier! I think its a wonderful place to hold a wedding because it's private, secluded, romantic and provides for an awesome photographic backdrop.
