If you are looking for a DJ that will give you an amazing party you must check out Randal. We received so many compliments after the wedding about what a great job he did. He's not cheesy (like some can be) and he read the crowd. He was phenomenal. During the planning process we met with him several times and really got to know him, he is a great person.

We used this company for our photo booth! The pictures came out with the BEST quality. Our guests could not stop using the photo booth. They LOVED it! It was by far one of our best things about the reception. I will defintiely recommend this vendor to my friends!

We worked with Mathias from Randal Stout Entertainment and are so happy that we did. Mathias' prices are a little lower since he only has a couple of years under his belt, and he is worth every penny and more. He catered the music to our liking and to the response of the crowd and never missed a beat. We wanted more non-traditional music played (MGMT, Sleigh Bells, Vampire Weekend) mixed in with some crowd pleasers and some Motown, and Mathias did a great job of stringing it all together.

The best thing about Mathias is he is a Master of Ceremony - he made all the announcements for us, he hyped up the crowd before we had our grand exit, he did it all and he kept everyone engaged. I would hire Mathias all over...

Randal was such a joy to work with! From the very beginning he made sure to answer all of my questions and make me feel completely at ease about our special day. He is very professional and well spoken, but he is also fun and knows how to get the party started! Our wedding was a blast and I still have people telling me (a month later) that it was the funnest wedding they have ever been to! I give a lot of credit to Randal because he kept the party going all night long! I would definitely recommend his services to any bride that is looking for a DJ!

Mathias, from Randal Stout Entertainment, was an excellent selection for our wedding ceremony. His laid-back personality was a good fit with ours and he had a wonderful selection of music. He also worked with us to create a custom playlist by downloading some unique songs he didn't already have in his library. Randal Stout Entertainment also provided our uplighting and photobooth. The photobooth was probably the biggest hit and we got the most compliments on this fun activity. Excellent value!

Randal was amazing. We met with him a few times before our wedding to discuss everything we wanted, he was able to accommodate all of our wishes and keep our party going. High recommended!

We won a free photo booth from Randal Stout Entertainment at a bridal show.

The company was so easy to work with; the contact we had was pleasant! It was the initial contract, then the choice for our logo and logo graphic verification, (all done via email), and then they called a couple weeks out and made sure they still had the time and event details correct. This was the easiest part of our wedding!

The guests loved it!! We declined their prop box and made one of our own. The prop box items (which were themed for our event) were worn all over the place and ended up making for some great photos both in the booth and out! RSE saved a copy of each photo strip and the guests got to take one home. We loved looking through the photos and were quite surprised at who came out of their shell inside the booth! They sent us a CD that beat us home from the honeymoon with digital copies of each image, as well as the compiled strips, and a facebook-ready folder. One of my favorite wedding photos is a picture of my mom, sister, and husband sitting in the booth, and me about to interrupt wearing my cheap princess tiara from the prop box! We were fine skipping the costs and opting for no favors, but we are so glad we experienced the photo booth and we would definitely recommend it (and would have paid for it) knowing it was such a success!!

Randal was simply a dream! From the minute I met him I was impressed. He exceeded everyone's dreams and expectations. So eager, easy to work with, and fabulous at what he does! He definitely made our wedding fabulous!

Greg was our DJ and I couldn't have been more pleased! I was extremely worried when I was making the decision for who our Dj was going to be for our wedding. Our reception was at Timarron Country Club in Southlake, when I told the wedding coordinators who we had chosen as our Dj they went on and on about how he was their favorite! At that moment my worries went away.

Picstrips photo booths ARE the party starter ! Every age group enjoyed having a picture or 2 (or 5) taken together--the props added to the laughs ! Eveyone loved the color or black & white choice--it really personalized the guest book & made a unique favor for the guests to take home ! The booth looked great from the outside & has great seating inside--we looked at quite a few companies & are really happy we decided on Randal Stout--he even went the extra mile & helped fix a last minute problem with the logo on the photo--Thanks Randal

Randal was fantastic! From the second we met, he wanted to get to know more about me and what kind of crowd we would have. He played all the right music all night, and he was even able to get those boring folks out on the dance floor! I also love that he recommended we play something more fun for our recessional at the ceremony. We picked Funkytown (I married Casey Funk) and everyone loved it!

There is no better DJ in the area! From start to finish Randal had us laughing the whole time. He had great suggestions when we were having creative blocks, and performed just as we imagined. As long as our reception was it never dragged and for that we thank him.

Randal Stout Entertainment is a FULL SERVICE company. They not only provided the MC/DJ services, they also included our videographer and a photo booth.

I could go on and on about how much fun I have, but certain things stick out...When my husband and I sat down to eat, Randal came and stood next to us sort of like a body guard - and we ACTUALLY ATE! He was the only reason I had any food that day and didn't hit the floor.

Also - there were some dances that are total group entertainment - and the lyrics tell you what to do...Well, Randal got up in front and coached all of us poor souls who have to left feet! I just followed Randal's every move and didn't fall over!

The customer service is unreal. Nothing went wrong...I saw Randal several years ago at a friends wedding...and I had the best time at that wedding...and I had a fabulous time at my wedding!

The entertainment was perfect - and we hope to have a great anniversary party and have it all over again!

I would recommend Randall to all my family and friends! He went through all the details of the ceremony and reception with us and helped us make the right decisions. I was not able to have Randal personally as my DJ at my wedding, however, he did recommend Greg who he works with. I would like to say that he did an amazing job. He was very organized, fun, classy, and he even taught my dad and I to dance! We were able to meet with him several times before the wedding to make sure we had all of the details in line. He was very flexible with his schedule and able to meet at pretty much any time we needed to. He had many great suggestions for songs and when to play them. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is planning a wedding!

I used Randal Stout for several services at my reception: DJ, Photo Booth, and Lighting. I could not possibly have been happier with any of them. Randal took the time to get to know both me and my fiance to see what sorts of music we liked. He not only served as our DJ, but also as our emcee (as a normal part of his DJ service). He put together a plan for and controlled the flow of the reception for the night, which thankfully put me at great ease. I didn't have to remember where to be and when because Randal took care of that for me! He put on a fantastic party at the reception, playing the songs that we requested, and supplementing them with his chosen (and perfect!) mix of songs to ensure guests of all ages had a great time. Since the reception, I've had several people ask who my DJ was. He was absolutely fantastic!

Randal's photo booth is extremely sleek and impressive. The booth printed out two copies: one for the guests to keep, which served as our wedding favors, and the other was placed in a scrapbook for the guests to sign. Our wedding guests are still talking about how much they loved the photo booth, and my husband and I just LOVED seeing all the pictures and messages that our guests wrote in the scrapbook.

The lighting that Randal set up was absolutely stunning! I will never forget the way the reception room looked when I first saw it; my jaw literally dropped. To be honest, I wasn't interested in lighting at first, but I am so very glad that I decided to fit it into my budget for the reception. Just when I thought the flowers could not be any more beautiful, Randal's lighting took them and the look of the entire room to a whole new level! It looks phenomenal in pictures! For future brides, I would very highly recommend sacrificing some of the money for your flowers to showcase them in Randal's lighting.

Randal made our wedding and rehearsal dinner a HUGE SUCCESS!!! He was very professional and knew how to keep guests involved and on the dance floor. Only a few months after our wedding we were attending my cousin's wedding in another state and family members were coming up to my husband and I telling us how fabulous our DJ was during our cousins reception! They said they had hoped my cousin's wedding would be half as much fun as ours but there was no comparison... they said the DJ was a huge part of making our wedding one to remember! Randal was fantastic!!He made leading up to the wedding very easy by meeting with Kris and I, letting us talk through what we did/didn't like, and helping us think of options that worked best for us. On the day of after the ceremony pictures, I got to the reception site and was like "Randal can I have 5 minutes to sit?!" where I could just collect myself and take a breath. I know that might not seem important, but in the adrenaline, the rush, it was just so nice to have a minute to breathe. Also, he is not a "cheesy" DJ. He is super professional, and played all of the songs that we wanted to include in our day. When there was a lag in the dancing part of the wedding, he came to us and asked what we wanted to do, continue the dancing or move onto cake cutting. He worked with the coordinator at the venue throughout the wedding to make sure we had a blast!

Randal was amazing. We didnt have the biggest budget for our wedding..so we set aside the biggest part for DJ and Lighting and Im so glad we did!! We had so many compliments on the set up and so many of our friends came up to us to tell us how fun our wedding was. I attribute this to Randal. If you have been to slow/boring weddings, then you know what I mean! He will also respond to every question you have timely and make sure you get exactly what you want. As an anxious bride, I know this is something you cannot take for granted!

We couldn't have been more pleased with Randal's service. He was always easy to contact - usually by phone. I really liked how he met with us to taylor the playlist to our taste. He was able to get songs that he did not already have in his database. Also, the lighting accents that he did were wonderful and looked great in the pictures. The lighting also helped change the mood of the party depending on which section of the evening we were in. He is a little expensive, but SOOOOOOO worth it. With all that can go wrong in a wedding it's great to not have to worry about the DJ or directing people. He did a wonderful job. I would recommend him for any event anytime!

Finding the perfect DJ/MC at our wedding was incredibly important to me so when we found Randal I felt like a load was off my shoulders. He listened and responded to us, making our wedding reception an amazing event. There were certain types of songs I didn't want played at my wedding and certain ones I did. We met Randal at a bridal show in Fort Worth. We saw so many DJs acting goofy and dancing up and down the aisles to funky techno beats. Some people like that, but we wanted to be the center of attention on our wedding day, not our DJ! Randal was extremely professional and made sure he got to know my husband and I well before the big day. He had several ideas, like how to introduce us to our guests at the reception, and was always open to hearing new ideas. Randal was the best on our big day and interacted with our guests wonderfully. Randal was the pefect DJ for us. He read the crowd really well and managed to keep everyone one the dance floor. I had some preference on music (no rap/inappropriate music or honky tonk), and he definitely honored that preference. He also timed our entry, first dance, cake cutting and exit beautifully. And he did not spend a lot of time on the mic- just got the music crankin and kept people dancing. In other words, he was the dream DJ.

Randal Stout provided the "white hot photo lounge" for our wedding! It was a huge hit and I am so glad we had it! By far one of the best parts of the party! Worth every penny!! I didn't give a perfect 5 for flexibility because the nice man taking the pictures kept on telling us we had too many people in the picture... He should have just gone with the flow and allowed our guests to take pictures however they wanted to. Hopefully, they will in the future!! Loved having them be a part of our wedding!

Randal Stout Entertainment provided the Picstrips Photo Booth for our wedding reception and it was a hit!! We looked into a lot of other photobooth companies before choosing the Picstrips booth. Their booth is by far the best looking booth out there! Another thing that is unique to their company is that you have the opportunity to choose between color or black & white photos for each sitting (4 photos). Their prices are very reasonable and there were no hidden fees or traps. The attendant that setup and stayed with the booth the whole night was very professional and friendly. Many of our guests went back into to booth numerous times throughout the night. We contracted the booth for 3 hours but the party was still going strong at the end of 3 hours. He was able to take down the booth and leave without interrupting anyone or the flow of the party. I didn't even notice that he had left.

Everyone is still talking about how much fun it was and how cool it was to get to take the pictures home with them. A week after our event, we got a disk in the mail with copies of all of the pictures of the night.

Randal was very good about working with our schedules to meet at times that were convenient for us. So many vendors are only available to meet during the day, but Randal was willing to meet in the evenings, too, which helped a lot. Also, his book of song likes and dislikes is great!

Randal was a lifesaver! He was so flexible and friendly. He made sure that our day was special and memorable. He met with us several times and we made a friend for life. He loves to personalize things and does what you want (within reason of course). He was our Master or Cerenonies and since my mom and i planned the wedding, he took over for us when the ceremony started. He has tons of music to choose from and one thing that I loved is that if you don't want someone to say anything at your wedding, you tell him and the mic will never go there and he makes sure that no one comes to talk with the bride and groom for 15 minutes so they can eat a little something. This was so helpful because my husband and I needed a little something to re-energixe so we could talk with everyone plus it gave us some time to enjoy eachother's company since our venue was our ceremony and reception area. I loved that at the end, he ushered everyone out to go wait for us by our car and my husband and I got one dance to ourselves to end the perfect day. Plus, a week before our wedding, we shared with him that we were nervous about dancing and he booked a dance lesson with a friend of his for that afternoon .... and he was an amazing teacher!

Great photobooth! It's a little expensive, but worth it! We had so much fun with it and our guests kept telling us how great it was.

Randy did an amazing job at my son's wedding. He kept the party moving, and was very organized. He had everyone having a blast from the kids, to the adults. It was amazing. The only ding I had for Randy was he made a remark in our first meeting that was very unprofessional about one of the usher's being in a wheelchair. Really should know his audience there as that usher was the groom's brother.

Our DJ really listened to us and got to know us before the event so we knew we could be at ease and enjoy our wedding reception. Everyone had a blast!

This vendor was pretty good. I think the music could have been a little better but overall we were happy. There seemed to be some dull points at the reception but it ended up nicely. Great photobooth and Randal is very nice!

Randal was really great, and I would really recommend using him. I had lots of great feedback from my guests saying that they hadn't danced that much at a wedding EVER. People danced the whole reception, and he did a great job playing songs that he knew would get people up and moving. Another really great thing that he did was seem to control the flow of the evening without seeming too concrete. I had been to weddings before, and it seemed that just when everyone was starting to have a good time, the DJ stopped the music for toasts or cake cutting. Randal seemed to have a natural flow to the evening that allowed for the toasts, dinner, and cake cutting to take place without having to interrupt guest's entertainment. My only comment is to take advantage of meeting with him prior to the event so that he has time to review and become familiar with your introductions and any other unique characteristics of your reception so that he understands exactly what needs to be done. I have also attended wedding receptions as a guest that randal has MCed and from the perspective of a guest, he did a great job as well.

Randal Stout was an excellent DJ!!! People really ARE still talking about my wedding celebration almost two years later! My favorite part was being able to go into a program containing all his music and hand picking music I wanted and didnt want and even asking for music he didnt have yet. It was FABULOUS! AND he did awesome setting up the lighting. Mood is everything and it was just like i wanted it!

Randal knows his stuff. His is great at reading the room during your reception and knowing what will work best and fit with the mood of the moment and the guests. Our dance floor was packed the whole time, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were also very particular about certain songs and details we wanted during the reception --- Randal was down to do any and everything we asked, and it was all executed flwalessly.

It helped really personalize our day and make it special for us. Everything we asked was a yes. Even if we gave him no direction, everything would have still been wonderful. You can definitely trust him to give a reception everyone will remember. He has wedding entertainment down to a science. You get whole experience with Randal, not just someone playing music. It's so much more.

Randal was a lot of fun in our pre-meetings and at the wedding. The time of everything was on par for what we wanted as well. I didn't hear some of the songs that I would have loved to dance to and only heard one repeat song. He is laid back and had a lot of suggestions for other things not pertaining to music that was appreciated as well. The only drawback for me was the price. It was a huge chunk of the budget that I would have loved to have spent elsewhere, but you are paying for one of the best in Dallas.

I rented a photo booth from Randal Stout Entertainment for my July 2011 wedding, and I had a very positive experience. Whenever I had a question, Randal or one of his staff members was always very quick to respond, which I appreciated a lot. And at the event itself, the photo booth was set up at the time we wanted, and the attendant was very professional and helpful. We wanted something besides the traditional guest book, and having the guests take pictures and then sign well-wishes was SO much fun!

You have to be firm on music list, I was a little disappointed that majority of the songs that I asked for was not played. The lighting was stunning! Looking back at the photos, it was money well spent. We had a great experience.

Randal did a great job entertaining our guests. Everyone was very happy and had an awesome time at our reception. Randal also did all of the lighting for our venue and it looked amazing. The reception was everything that I wanted. My husband and I were not really a fussy bride and groom when it came to choosing our music. We pretty much like everything and trusted Randal to read our guests and decide what would get them all on the dance floor to have a great time. The only disappointments throughout the night were the personal requests that we made prior to the wedding. The wrong song was started during our cake cutting song and the father/ daughter dance seemed to be rushed as my dad and I were not even on the dance floor yet and there were still others dancing when we started. I had emailed a song to Randal that I wanted played as a surprise to my groom for our last dance and the wrong song was played. All of these mistakes were only known to my groom and I, but those were the little things that had meant most to us. We felt that we met with him many times before our wedding and that a lot of personal things were left out throughout the night. All in all, we were very happy and as long as our guests had a blast that is what meant the most to us.

Takes the stress off the bride to plan out the entertainment aspect of the wedding. Although it's great that you can submit a list of the songs that you MUST have played, and songs that you DO NOT want played.

Randal Stout is an excellent DJ. His equipment is way above average. He provided several speakers all throughout our wedding reception location and out in the foyer area, when most DJs only have two speakers right by the dance floor, which means that some guests get blasted with sound and some can barely hear. Our guests had the perfect balance of sound at every table and on the dance floor. He is also an excellent MC. He promotes himself as a DJ/Wedding Coordinator because he helps to move the reception and events along, and this is absolutely true. He was excellent at keeping things moving and making sure that the right thing was happening at the right time, so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. He is also way above average as a DJ. He was very good at getting and keeping guests on the dance floor. We had a great time at our reception dancing with guests to a good selection and flow of music. In all of these ways, he was well worth the money.

HOWEVER, we were very, very disappointed in the level of service given to us before the wedding. When we first met with him, he went through a whole planning process with us, including a booklet that he has that lays out the whole reception, what music you want where, etc. We filled out the book as much as we could and brought it to the meeting. At the meeting, we discussed the things we had filled out and also several ideas for enhancing the reception, and we were to discuss other music options in the future, both over the phone and potentially at one other meeting before the wedding date. At this point, we had 4 months until the day arrived. All of this sounded good, but in practice never came to fruition. It was a nightmare trying to get in touch with him during the next few months. He would often take 1-2 weeks to call us back after we had left multiple messages. We never got to choose the songs for our reception, so we were totally surprised by the music selections played at times like the grand entrance and the cake cutting. We did choose the first dance and parent dance songs, but he messed up the parent dance. We were supposed to switch off partners between my dad, my step-dad, and my father-in-law, but he totally messed up the cues so that I ended up dancing with my actual father for about 30 seconds and danced with my father-in-law for about 2 minutes, which was very disappointing. This was messed up because of a lack of planning on his part. We would have liked to be able to talk him through what we wanted better, but were not able to because we had such a hard time getting in touch with him, and were only able to meet with him that one time. I would also have liked to choose a selection of our favorite songs so that he could have played some of them, and to choose our grand entrance song, although the song he picked turned out to be good. Honestly, if he had not set such high expectations for his level of involvement, we might not have been as dissatisfied as we were, but since he told us he would be in contact with us about once a month and was not, we felt like we were somewhat cheated for our money, and that we did not get as much say in planning our reception as we were promised we would be. He totally bailed on his promised level of service.

As much as I would like to complain about it, though, the reception really went very smoothly. It's not the result I was unsatisfied with, but the getting there. We were subjected to undue stress and frustration leading up to our wedding day, when we already had so many other things to deal with. At the end, we were happy, but it took so much stress to get there, that I'm not sure it was worth it. I wouldn't go so far as to say don't hire him, but just be very careful about the planning process, and make sure that your expectations are clear up front. Also make sure that you are on top of getting him all the information he needs because he won't be.

When looking for the DJ who can create a "party atmosphere" that lasts until the very end (and then some), look no further. Randal and his staff are AMAZING at what they do. They have a variety of services that help create the perfect night, and they emcee flawlessly. Call them today!

Randal and his crew are awesome DJ's!! He gets the guests involved in having a good time and isn't one of those cheesy DJ's! I enjoyed working with him and I highly recommend him!! Awesome DJ, Great personality, good customer service and fun to work with!!
