Rees RiverBend Manor

This wedding venue offers both lodging and ceremony accomodations. Rees RiverBend Manor is just under 5,000 square feet on 3 waterfront lots on Wixom Lake. The Bride and Groom are treated to an Elegant Delux Wedding Suite that they can use the day before the ceremony, the day of the ceremony and their wedding night.  There is also lodging accomodations for 7 addtional wedding party guests.  The ceremony can  be performed on the bridge facing the waterfall and the lake. The platform for the officiant crosses the steam just in front of the Water Fall.

On the high banks of Wixom Lake this wedding venue property has been extensively remodeled with a architect designed Delux Honeymoon Suite of almost 1000 sq. ft, 5x6 marble/glassed/multi-head shower, 2 person marble surrounded Jacuzzi Waterfall tub with windows and small balcony overlooking the lake, gas fireplace antique mantle wood/marble raised hearth at the foot of the romantic oak sleigh bed, radiant heating on the bathroom floor and shower area (including a heated shower seat and heated towel rack). There is a small kitchen unit which has a two burner stove, a refrigerator and dish sink. There is also a micorwave. Stairway to master is a very large custom circular staircase of cedar and pine, enclosed in a completely round turret area, surrounded by round-topped windows. Allowing for a dramatic entrance to the wedding ceremony by the birde.  The lake side window is a set of French doors, flanked by two side windows, two quarter round windows on top of the side window, a transit window above the doors and a large half round window on top of the transit. Room is air-conditioned.

Kitchen/Great Room with large view of lake, features a 5x6 island which is perfect for any catering business with a built in cook top stove and oven, new black granite sink and faucet fixtures. Great room has a vaulted ceiling with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace with an antique mantel that burns real wood. French doors to deck off the back of the house. There is a formal dining room with built in floor to ceiling china cabinets, two-wine refrigerators/serving area. Floor to ceiling windows overlooks the front yard.

There is a main floor second master suite, with private bath and a set of French doors onto a private deck. All of the amenities are lakeside. There is a third bedroom on the main floor. The fourth bedroom is actually an apartment in the walk out basement which includes a large family area, a nice sized recreational area and has a fully functional kitchen, which is actually a 50s Coca-Cola Diner, Bathroom with shower. All rooms are spacious and have their own bathrooms. Each floor has television, refrigerator, stove, micorwave and dish sink making it possible for three couples to have seperate, private living and eating quarters, on three different levels.

There is a huge front lawn with extensive landscaping. There is a cedar bridge that crosses the stone stream which also has a waterfall area with Wixom Lake as the backdrop view behind the waterfall.
