Reverend Catherine Was absolutely amazing!! She did a fantastic job at our wedding She was friendly and professional and she was always available to answer any questions we had and was more than willing to write the ceremony to meet our approval we had some roudy children as our flower girls and ring bearer and Reverend Catherine showed up at the wedding with string cheese for all of them to keep them from getting too hyper lol Thank you so much for everything Catherine you made our special day even more wonderful! we couldnt have asked for a better officiant. I would reccomend her to any of my friends.

Reverend Catherine Black-Ward was fantastic; we couldn't have asked for a lovelier and more personalized ceremony!We are from out-of-state and Rev Catherine was easy easy to talk to, flexible, and accommodating.We were extremely pleased.Thanks again, Rev Catherine!!!!

The ceremony went very smoothly. She showed up early and made sure everyone stayed on schedule. More expensive than we expected.

What officiant services do you provide?

Civil Union, Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Single Religion Ceremony

What religious affiliations do you serve?

Agnostic, Christian (no denomination)

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Yes. There are so many beautiful outdoor locations to choose from, too!

What is your attire for the ceremony?

I will wear what makes you most comfortable. I will usually wear a dark skirt suit with light blouse, but can accomodate your request for themed wear (Western, Hawaiian, Renaissance), as well.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

Each ceremony is custom written to reflect each couples' individual relationship. You will receive, upon booking your date, my book, "Ceremony Guide for Engaged Couples" for inspiration. I will work with you to get your ceremony "just right". You will review and approve your personalized ceremony before your wedding day.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

You may write your own vows, or find inspiration from samples in my book. These are the vows you are making to each other. They should be real and heartfelt.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

I have a huge selection of readings you may choose from, but you are not limited to those selections.

How long are your ceremonies?

Most run about 20-30 minutes. Factors to consider are reading selections, music, ceremonies such as sand or unity candle. These will affect the length of your ceremony.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

I do not require premarital counseling, however, I can refer you to very experienced counselors if you wish.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

I highly recommend rehearsals, especially if your bridal party is large or you have children participating. Rehearsal is included in my service

Do you supply a sound system?

I do not provide a sound system. I can refer you to a local company that rents sound systems at reasonable rates.
