Lisa Zaro was such a wonderful officiant for our wedding. She did an amazing job crafting a personalized ceremony for us, and was incredibly helpful with suggestions on how to handle different aspects of our ceremony. So many of our guests came up to us afterwards to tell us that it was the most personal and moving ceremony they've seen. She really was able to capture our personalities. She even recommended other vendors such as florist, hair, and makeup people in the Hudson Valley area. I would highly recommend Lisa for your ceremony.

Rev. Zaro performed our wedding ceremony at Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle. She was fantastic!

We got to know Rev. Zaro through a series of Skype chats, which was extremely convenient because my wife and I have unpredictable and narrow windows of availability due to our our work schedules. Our package would have also included an in-person planning session if our schedules had allowed. Rev. Zaro is very well organized and made sure we were on top of things through a comfortable planning schedule (including obtaining our marriage license). She was also a great help giving us ideas for our ceremony and tailoring our ceremony to our preferences. We filled out a questionnaire to help her prepare her ceremony remarks and based on our answers she even found us a reading from the Princess Bride that we loved and integrated into the ceremony.

At the ceremony she was professional without being stiff, which is exactly what we were looking for, and she kept everyone engaged with well-timed and appropriate humor.

I very much enjoyed having Reverend Zaro as the officiant at my wedding. She was flexible with what we wanted our ceremony to look like. She asked us a bunch of questions so she got to know us and the ceremony felt much more personal, unlike some ceremonies I have seen where the officiant does not even the name of the bride or groom! She helped us with writing our own vows and she came up with readings as well. She was very nice and I received a number of compliments on the ceremony!

Lisa was fantastic! My husband reached out to her for our spontaneous elopement and she helped us pull it all together. She helped us find photographers in the area (which was outside of where we lived) and she guided us through the administrative process of getting our marriage license. She is professional and warm -- everything we wanted in an officiant. Even though we met her for the first time on our wedding day, it felt like having family with us!

We were so lucky to have found Lisa for our wedding. Not only was she a breath of fresh air in an otherwise chaotic planning process, but she really got a sense of who my fiancé and I were and customized a ceremony that was perfect for us. I had my wedding in New York and I live in Maryland. Lisa was outstanding about keeping in touch with me and was always available to talk. She was also very considerate about our wishes on having a ceremony with no religious content. There was no judgement and she was very helpful with ideas. Reverend Lisa Zaro was more than we could imagine in an officiant. My groom and I went into this not knowing what we wanted or how to structure the ceremony. Lisa walked us through everything taking time to review how we met, what we like to do, and what we like about each other. All of these elements were used in a seamless fashion in her ceremony.

Rev. Lisa Zaro officiated our wedding last Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012. From the very beginning, she responded promptly to our inquiry via email. We then spoke to her on the phone to schedule our wedding. We needed to schedule our wedding as soon as possible and she was able to work around our schedule. Mike and I were married this past weekend, July 7, 2012. We began planning over 8 months ago and Lisa was one of a few officiants we reached out to. Our decision to go with Lisa was one we made quickly after speaking to her on the phone. She is extremely personable, easy to work with, and super friendly.

Her business manner is calm and relaxing during a time that could be stressful with all else you have to deal with. Lisa is set up so she can accept online payments and is really good at getting back to you quickly.

What Mike and I really loved about Lisa was the way she took the information we gave her and came up with our "story". The vows she put together were a perfect start to what we wanted to share with our guests and she was extremely open to the edits that Mike and I made.

In the end, what transpired at our wedding Saturday evening was an intimate, funny, and beautiful set of wedding vows which not only incorporated the two of us but also our children and our family in a way that was more than we could have asked for. Lisa knew our vows, read them like she really felt them, was willing to be part of the some of the humor we incorporated and really helped us enjoy the most amazing evening ever!

Me and my now husband had a really last minute at home wedding ceremony last month when he was on leave from the Navy. Lisa was able to be here last minute and perform the ceremony including the unity candle part that we wanted. She was really nice and great. :)

Rev. Lisa Zaro married my husband and I on May 26, 2012. We could not have asked for a better officiant! We had our first initial meet and greet at a diner in the middle of both of our locations. We were so excited we arrived a little early and poor Lisa was still eating her dinner!! She insisted we sat with her, and we talked over coffee and cheesecake. Immediately we felt comfortable with her, she is such a warm and sweet woman we knew right away she would be perfect for us. We expressed how nervous the two of us were about vows and the actual ceremony itself (me being a cry baby and my husband having stage freight!) She didn't make us feel like we had to do anything we didn't want to do and in fact recommended a simple ceremony with minor talking on our parts!! Rev. Zaro officiated our wedding on April 29, 2012. from the very first phone call we knew she was the perfect match for us. At the time we first spoke my now husband was stationed in another state and was unable to physically be part of our meetings and conversations. Rev. Zaro personalized and performed our wedding ceremony 2 weeks ago. She was able to capture the essence of us and our relationship after only a few conversations.
