My husband and I come from varied religious backgrounds, but we are not avid churchgoers ourselves. We wanted a somewhat secular ceremony with the focus being on our relationship and love for each other. We met with Rev. Phyllis and were very pleased with what she had to offer. She helped us write a ceremony that was very personal and just what we were looking for. She even included a bit about our dogs and how special they are to us in the ceremony. She is very organized and made sure that everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do on the big day, and the ceremony went off without a hitch!

I initially found Phyllis by doing an internet search for officiants in the Richmond area. I set up an appointment with her, and we had a good feeling about her the first time we met. We liked Phyllis because she was willing to make our ceremony as spiritual and religious as possible. She is very passionate about what she does, and it is clear when you meet her. Phyllis came to our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and reception after the ceremony and our family loved her! We had many comments about how genuine and beautiful the ceremony was, and many people thought that we chose the perfect person to officiate our ceremony, given our personalities. She is fantastic!

She was incredible!!! She can conduct a ceremony in any manner you wish. She can do non-denominational ceremonies and caters towards your needs. We met with her and she had binders made with different options to choose from. She makes sure you're comfortable and doesn't push you to make certain decisions. It's soley up to the Bride and Groom on how and what is being said during the ceremony. We loved her! She's super friendly and a very sweet woman.

Rev. Phyllis is a professional, caring, wonderful officiant. She is incredibly caring and nurturing and very friendly. She worked with us to create a personalized ceremony that truly represented both of us. I would HIGHLY recommend her!
