Rev. Ron Beams

we met Reverend Ronald Beams this weekend. he is seriously one of the nicest and sweetest persons ive met.. EVER! haha
he really paid attention when we met with him and was VERY welcoming. we knew off hand that he was MEANT to be our officiant!

we actually had a meeting in his home which was different and felt more intimate.. not creepy at all. lol

i highly recommend him! if i could give him more stars i would!

its after our wedding now.. and honestly im still sticking to what i mentioned above AND MORE! he was so genuine. everyone that attended our wedding LOVED him. he completely spoke from the heart and you can feel it in his words. ive been to many weddings where the reverend, priest, etc sounded heartless and sounded as if they just wanted to get it over with. he took his time.. and made the crowd laugh! we are so happy to have chosen him!

It is impossible to say enough good things about Reverend Beams. We were referred to him by a DJ (who we didn't use) and picking him as our officiant was the easiest choice in all of our wedding planning (it took each of us less than 5 minute after meeting him before we knew). Both my wife and I felt an instant connection to him and through the course of several pre-marital sessions grew quite close to him. He is one of the most genuine, caring, and insightful people you will ever meet. And he took a lot of time getting to know us, what made us unique, and the important parts of our relationship, our families, and our friends.

At the ceremony he kept me calm before the ceremony (no small feat), made everyone feel welcome, was funny and wise, and made the ceremony uniquely about us. Everyone I talked too at the wedding loved him (several said they wished that he had been their officiant) and I am sure we will be sending him holiday cards for the rest of our lives.

If you do select him as your officiant be sure to do pre marital sessions as well (as many as you feel you need)! Don't go in with the intention of just planning out your ceremony, because sessions with him can offer you so much more. First, and most importantly, he does a great job of helping you reflect on your relationship, both the strengths and challenges. I think he pointed out to my wife and I how we can work to make our marriage stronger. Second, he gets to know you better and it will make your ceremony all the more personal. Third, he is one of the easiest people to talk to you will ever meet and you will come out of the sessions understanding yourself, your future spouse, and your relationship much better.
