She helps put together a great cermony, she help me find a way to make sure we included my Dad who passed the year before and it was a great ceremony Love her

The Process:

We truly appreciated working with Sally to create and then enjoy the meaningful ceremony of our lifetime. Sally provided us with creative solutions from her collection of experiences performing marriages across many religions ad in many settings. We were able to custom fit our personalities into the ceremony and modify our wedding poems, songs, and text of our choosing. Her suggestion as to the order and timing of each program section was spot on - allowing for better transitions. She accommodated our desires willingly and with such peace, making his a smooth process to manage during a time of heightened event-planning stress.

The Ceremony:

Sally had just the right qualities we wanted in an officiant. She spoke clearly, lovingly and with great sincerity. Even though we added new material at the last moment, her delivery was flawless and inspirational. Afterward people were asking, "Who was your minister? Where did you find her? She was great!"

About Dream Wedding Ceremony by Sally

In my 57 years on this Earth I’ve had a lot of different jobs, or careers, or whatever one wants to call them. I have had ones that were a lot of fun and ones that were high stress as well as high pay. But I can honestly say, for the first time in my life I do something I never want to stop. There is just nothing in this world like the experience of standing 12 inches from sweethearts as they gaze into each others eyes, bare their souls and publicly proclaim their love and devotion for one another. Big strapping young men wipe tears away and middle aged lovers melt into each other’s eyes. I have the honor of being right there; swept up with them in the most intimate and spiritual moment of their lives. And this holds true whether they consider themselves spiritual or not. After all, isn’t love what it is all about? Maybe later they will forget, or get confused about the right things to do or say. But right now, in this moment, they have it right. Right now they see the truth in one another and their spirits shine. And I get to touch it and feel it and live it right along with them. If I could give just one gift to every couple it would be the gift of holding on to this moment, when egos are out the window and love rules. I do so love what I do!

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Absolutely!

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

I am flexible on wording and love to have each ceremony be unique and tailored to the couple.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Yes, they can write their own unassisted, or if they prefer I can assist them in the writing, or provide ideas to use as a starting point.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

Yes I do, I have a very long list of readings to select from, or if they prefer they can provide their own.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No I do not.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

yes I conduct rehearsals with many of my couples.

Yes, living and working in Ann Arbor, MI has provided me with a wealth of experience in wedding traditions from around the world.

Wedding umbrellas that match the bridesmaids dresses are a great accessory for Michigan weddings! They are both beautiful and functional for rain and/or sun. And...photos with all the umbrellas open are amazing!
