Your Perfect Wedding (Rev. Stephan Merriam)

Stephan married my husband and I last November. We were really impressed with his genuine interest in us and in making our wedding ceremony special. We put together our own ceremony with bits and pieces we found on the internet and books. Stephan was more than happy to read this at the wedding and did so beautifully. Stephan Merriam is a reverend in Los Angeles. He performs wedding ceremonies of ALL religions & will travel in the greater Los Angeles area. He is affordable and extremely easing going, allowing you to write your own ceremony if you'd like, as I did!

My husband and I wanted a non-religous ceremony, one that was unique and fitting to us. It was important to me that we have an officiant who would let us create the ceremony we wanted. Stephan Merriam is a very kind reverend, he's very professional in his work & is open minded to anything you'd like to incorporate in your wedding, wether it's 100% traditional or 100% unique.

Stephan receives an A+ instead of an A because he went above & beyond my expectations by performing a flawless ceremony for us and presenting us with a keepsake book of our ceremony & vows. He took care of our marriage license for us and made the process smooth & simple!

Stephen Merriam is one of the nicest people you'll meet. He has a calm nature and is always thoughtful with his answers and input. Stephen was always available to answer questions via email or phone. I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly he responded. You can tell he truly cares about the bride and groom because when I was too busy to email him he would email me to touch basis. He was great at keeping in touch and offered to help in any way he could. We're so glad he was there to marry us. He did a wonderful job and I highly recommend him to future brides and grooms!

When we first met with Stephen we felt immediately comfortable with him. He is readily available via e-mail and phone (though we primarily communicated through e-mail). He did a great job!

Extremely organized and affordable. We basically wrote our whole ceremony and personalized every detail. He helped us make our ceremony even better than what we had written. I would highly recommend him to any couple who wants to write their own ceremony and needs some help personalizing it & organizing it.

We met with Stephan and just loved him. He was exactly what we wanted and not cheesy. He is just such a nice guy and was up for doing whatever kind of ceremony we wanted...we wanted a non denominational wedding and he had great suggestions and no judgement whatsoever. I highly recommend him!!!

Stephen was a wonderful officiant! We contacted him close to the wedding date, but he was still very accomodating & helpful! Since we were getting married in California but live in Texas, he worked with our schedules to detail the ceremony out exactly how we wanted it. Because I had lot's of Spanish speaking family members, Stephen even worked with us to have part of the ceremony done in Spanish, even though Spanish is not his native language! He was very warm & personable from our first phone call & meeting & we were extremely happy with how everything turned out. I would absolutely recomend Stephen!

My Husband I were fortunate enought to have Stephen officiate our wedding. He was truly one of the nicest and most sincere people I have met. He's puctual, organized and articulate. I had to contact him a couple weeks before the wedding with a possible problem with our marriage license. **Just so you know, the State of California does not accept a temporary drivers license as a valid form of ID when applying for a marriage license :(
Stephen researched this and was able to provide me another solution. In the end, everything worked out, I had a marriage license, an officiant and memories to last a lifetime.

Stephen married us at the Almansor Court (the picture on his profile with the white gazebo). He was awesome. He did way more than we had expected. He was very punctual, detailed, and was in constant contact with us. Of all my vendors, he was the one that I least worried about because I knew that if he was this responsible prior to the wedding date, I would be able to count on him on the day of the wedding. I could not recommend a better officiant. He also did rehearsal with us and told us what we needed to do because we certainly didn't know. If you're looking for an officant for a perfect wedding, then look no further.

Stephen Merriam was so organized for my wedding! I orginally had another officiant booked, which I found through the referral list at the venue, BIG MISTAKE! It was a total nightmare! They were non responsive and completely rude! Needless to say, I lost my deposit with the other officiant and contacted Stephen two months before my wedding and he was a total savior! He was quick to respond to any questions we had and did a fabulous job at our wedding! Thank you Stephen!

He was detail-oriented and very organized which made my role as a Bride less stressful. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and well-prepared with a professional mannerism.
