Rick went above and beyond what we expected. He worked long hours to give us exactly what we wanted. And the pictures were stunning! We couldn't believe they were also ready 3 days after the wedding. He was awesome!

Rick is so great to work with. On the scheduled day of our event the weather was so bad and he was so flexible to make the next day work for us for the photo shoot. The pictures turned out so beautiful and we have so many compliments from family and friends.

I was searching online for a wedding photographer who could take my anniversary pics on my specific wedding date and I searched over 50 different photographers and finally found Rick Takagi. His photos were the most beautiful, refreshing and stylish pics of all wedding photos I searched. So, I contacted him and he got back to me in more than a timely matter and was very flexible. We actually met on the day of the shoot and he was extremely professional and personable. He made me and my husband very comfortable. My pictures were so amazingly beautiful. I posted a few on my Facebook and all my friends and family were absolutely in love with his work. I cannot say enough how grateful I was to have found Rick. I would definitely hire him again. My Husband and I got married after Ref74 passed and searched for a photographer that had creativity and an eye for great pictures in the Seattle Area.

We found Rick's website and we were blow away by his beautiful out of the ordinary pictures and hoped we could book him to work with us. Rick was great and very well priced and most of all we received more amazing pictures of our day with him than we we could have wished for.

We wanted to spend some hours getting pictures around Seattle with our friends and Family. We went to about 6 spots running from one to another to be finished at our court house.

Rick photographed our wedding and we were so pleased! He's great at spontaneous shots and at working with you to get all the shots you want. He'll direct you but he's not demanding, which I really appreciate in a photographer. My only complaint was the use of the bubble lens in some portrait style photos, but it was minimal and the rest of his work was fantastic. Also, HUGE plus, Rick had our photos back to us 4 days after our event! We were shocked and so happy! His pricing was perfect for a couple on a budget.

Rick was wonderful to work with. He was very flexible with last minute scheduling on my wedding day. He had a full online album for us to view and share three days later. His prices are very competitive; offering several wedding packages to choose from. He dressed appropriately for the wedding, and was kind to the guests, and open to any shot that I or my guests ask to have taken, plus he even stayed longer than originally planned. I highly recommend Rick Takagi Photography, my friends and family say the pictures really represent the occasion. I will treasure these pictures, and look forward to pulling them out for grandchildren someday!

Rick was amazing. He showed up early and stayed late. I hate having my photo taken and he totally put me at ease. He came up with some amazing photos. I was so lucky to have him photograph my wedding. I want to get married all over again just to have some more great photos!

My wedding was very informal (just at a courthouse with a dinner afterwards) but pictures were important to my family, so literally a week before my wedding, I found Rick's website on-line and gave him a call to see if he had availability to take our pictures. Rick had a creative idea to go to a nearby park in the city I live in that has some interesting landscape to use in our background. It ended up turning out really cool in our pictures! They're definitely unique and are extremely professional looking. Ten years ago my family went into Bellevue for an in-studio professional photography session and in my opinion, my wedding pictures far surpass what we had done back then. If I ever need any future professional pictures taken in the future I will not hesitate to give Rick a call!

Rick Takagi was a wonderful photographer to work with! After meeting with him for the initial consultation we almost canceled an appointment with a second photographer, we got along so well with him. He was very flexible working with us from 3,000 miles away, and had some fantastic ideas about our special and informal photo shoot at Pike Place Market after our wedding ceremony which were a lot of fun!! The photos turned out so well, and with a fast turn around! He did an incredible job! We would highly recommend Rick for anyone looking for a skilled photographer.

Rick was great. He was so professional and was never in the way. He was also very flexible with shot suggestions, but had plenty of his own too. I would highly recommend him to any bride. Rick is also very friendly and was just a pleasure to have around (when I even noticed he was there). He was able to get shots of all the important moments on our big day.
After our engagement shots, I recommended Rick to a friend of mine and he is doing her wedding this coming weekend (which I am in). I am very excited to work with him again so soon.

We were SO happy and grateful to have Rick as our photographer. He did our engagement session as well and we couldn't have been happier with our photos. They are bright, colorful, and fun but not to the point where they are 'dated' by today's photography fads. We wanted our pictures to be good of us, our wedding party, our friends, etc.. and he did a great job. I've received SO many compliments on our wedding party photos from around Seattle about how beautiful and unique they are. We've also gotten a lot of compliments on our engagement photos.

The best part about Rick, though, is that he does more than take great pictures. He's encouraging and energetic. He clearly loves what he does and it shows in how he acts during his time with you. Before our engagement session he scoped out the area since he hadn't taken pictures there before (Woodinville). He also scoped out our venue before the wedding, all on his own initiative.

All this to say, Rick is a wonderful photographer. We have no regrets and wouldn't do it any other way. We also look forward to more photo sessions with him while we're living in...

Rick Takagi is absolutley AMAZING! Rick was professional & so easy to work with, from our first meeting my husband & I knew instantly he was our photographer! I could not have asked for a better photographer than Rick. He was incredibly patient with the madness that weddings inevitably bring. But better than that: he helped iron out some of the stresses. His shots were incredible and he got them to us in a very timely manner. I've heard from everyone who has seen the photos that they are the best ones they've ever seen. Rick was an amazing photographer. We had our wedding in Las Vegas, and didn't have much time to scope out the area beforehand, but that wasn't a problem for Rick. He worked around all our venue limitations, offered plenty of creative ideas, and the result was awesome, fun photos! I would recommend Rick without hesitation!

My husband and I got married almost a year ago, and I STILL can't stop looking through all the photos Rick took that day. Rick photographed our wedding two years ago at the Bellevue Arts Museum. We were thrilled with the pictures and he was wonderful to work with. He has a great eye and does not just do the traditional "cookie cutter" wedding photos. I've already recommended him to one of my friends and she loved his work too. He is also very reasonably priced which is a big bonus.
