We had Russell as our DJ for our wedding and he did an awesome job. He was very fun and when we told him to bring the party, he did! Thanks Russell!

We had many compliments about our wedding from our guests. The main one was how great our DJ (Rick Ryan ) was. The dance floor was full all night, young and old. Rick was so professional. Arrived way before time to get set-up and was ready to go. Very accommodating to our needs. Our guests loved the texting and live stream. What an awesome celebration thanks to Rick. Its a night we will never forget.

Rick Ryan did the DJ duties for our daughter's wedding reception. We could not have been happier. He even had the old folks up and dancing! Very professional, very helpful, very intent on doing everything he can possibly do to make the night a special memory for a special couple. Very personal with the bride and groom and keeping everyone involved and laughing. Our daughter just told him what she wanted ahead of time, and we turned him loose. Even our daughter's and new son-in-law's friends came up to us when it was over and hugged us. Many of them told us this was the best reception they had ever been to, and that they could not have possibly had a better time than they did. RICK---IT WAS PERFECT! We are definitely Rick Ryan fans!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick Ryan was the DJ at my wedding on 10/01/11. He absolutely ROCKED the dance floor. My friends and family of all ages stayed on the floor ALL night. I seriously haven't been to a more fun wedding, and I'm so glad it was mine, and that Rick Ryan was the DJ! I couldn't have asked for a more professional, friendly, accommodating, awesome DJ! He went through all of our must play songs, and gladly took requests as we asked for them. He was SO easy to get along with, and you can tell how much he loves being a DJ... he's great at it! The pictures and the text messages were also a blast. Everyone enjoyed seeing their messages on the screen, and we had lots of friends who had a blast with that. Also, the pictures are super fun, and show what a fun time we were having. Rick took every expectation that I had, and by far exceeded it. When my husband and I think back to our wedding, our favorite part was the time that we got to have on the dance floor, celebrating and dancing with our friends and family. We both talk about how we wouldn't change a single thing about our day, especially our reception, and couldn't have picked a better DJ to make the party AWESOME. I really can't say enough about Rick Ryan... just book him!!

Rick Ryan DJ my wedding reception and did an OUTSTANDING job. I will forever be thankful I found him. His prices are better than any other DJ I looked at and the service couldn't be better. Everything I requested was played, and the lights, sound quality were all excellent. He was very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend him to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Rick recently did our junior prom. He had several obstacles to work around with the venue being outdoors, but he was very flexible in working with us. He went above and beyond to make this the perfect event for our students. The music sounded wonderful, and the atmosphere was greatly enhanced by all the extras he included. All of his hard work was greatly appreciated, and he received raving reviews from all of the students. They loved being able to request the songs!

Rick Ryan was an incredible DJ to work with. He provides so much more than just your basic DJ services. His lighting and photobooth services give so much more for your money. He is extremely easy to work with and does a fantastic job. As a coordinator, you appreciate vendors that do a great job. I would definitely refer him to any clients seeking his services.

The only reason I gave 5 stars is because more were not available. Rick did an amazing job. Knew just how to get the crowd up and on its feet dancing and to stay that way all night. Lifting the room.with his lights made the night even more special. Would recommend him for any event.

Such a wonderful dj for the price!! I found him through this site and was not disappointed! Highly suggest him! He was great at answering emails and was always there. I know we have been commenting on facebook, but I wanted to tell you again what a GREAT job you did. The whole night was just awesome. I had sooooo much fun and you did a great job with the announcing and the music. All of the people involved with the ceremony and reception did an excellent job, way above my expectations. Rick Ryan made our daughter's reception a hit! Everyone had a great time dancing to the music and karaoke. He did everything we asked and even more. I wasn't sure what to expect but he provided it all including pictures and lighting. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and we will use him again.

Because of my schedule and where I live, Rick and I corresponded and planned my wedding reception entirely through e-mail. Even though I never met him or spoke to him in person before the actual wedding day, his services met our high expectations for a long night of fun and great music! Rick played every song that I or my guests requested, including my long list of songs that I had given him beforehand and songs requested by everyone the night-of. This was what my guests and I enjoyed most--hearing every single song that we wanted to hear! The music had EVERYONE up dancing, singing along, singing karaoke, and just having a great time!

I told Rick beforehand that we wanted more of a party atmosphere, not formal, for our wedding reception, and that's exactly what we got. Our reception was outdoors on the bank of the Tennessee River, and the music sounded great from anywhere that we went in the area--even all the way out on the boat patio.

So to sum it up, everyone really enjoyed having Rick DJ at our reception! (That includes guests my age-early 20s- to my grandparents, and every age inbetween!) People were asking how I found him, and many said that it was one of the most fun wedding receptions that they had ever been to! My husband and I had so much fun at the reception, and we would definitely hire Rick for another event!

When my mother who lives in Belgium first started to look at Mr. Ryan online she was very impressed and without any hesitation booked him. When it came time for my wedding it was such a great surprise at all that he brought to the reception and wedding. I would reccomend using him because the money that you spend is worth it. He is very professional and such a joy to work with.

Rick Ryan went above and beyond all my expectations! The lights, candid photos, texting & great music line-up made my reception a blast and me worry free.

It was a pleasure having Rick as our DJ. He provides the whole package: all the music we could ever want including our special requests; great lighting to set the mood; and all the pictures taken and displayed on the big screen throughout the night made it a an evening to remember! Very professional, arriving on time and setting everything up left no hassles for the Bride and Groom. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

Rick was great!!! You will not find a better value for the cost. In addition to DJ services, Rick included a photo slideshow, video, text message requests/"shout outs", and floor lighting. He was very easy to work with and played exactly everything we discussed, plus a good variety and everyone's requests. He was very professional, but fun, and kept people on the dancefloor all night! We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Rick and will definately use him again for any future events!

Rick is very willing to work with your requests. He is easy going and ready to do what you want him to do! He provides the unique service of pictures throughout the reception as well as a text messaging program that guests can send messages to the screen during the event.

Though everything about my wedding was wonderful, I got the most compliments on the DJ. Rick was great. He took pictures through the night and had them up on the screen behind him. Also, he took requests and offered karaoke. AND he had an option where guests could text a message to me and my husband that would appear on screen. I stayed on the dance floor all night. It was SO much fun :)

Rick was amazing and handled our wedding perfectly. We had numerous guests ask where we found him and how well he kept the guests entertained. Rick Ryan was great at my wedding! The music was on point during the ceremony and he kept family and friends on the dance floor all night! I had an outside wedding and was worried about sound and lights, but the sound was fantastic and the lighting was perfect. It got alittle chilly at the end of the night and Rick stay professional and kept on going. I will definetly book Rick again for any events where I need a professional and cool DJ again! Rick was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. He did an amazing job with the lighting in the room to make it look so magical and more romantic than I could have expected. I have looked at a few pictures and to say the lighting made them look better is an understatement! The color and the dramatic effects were great!!!

The music was good, but we had quite a bit of different musical tastes at our wedding based on the diverse age range, so it was hard to keep the dance floor full the whole night. Between the alcohol bar and candy bar our guests were easily distracted. :-) They all had a great time, but too many things to do besides dance!

If I had to do it over again, I would have provided a few song choices that I knew my guests would dance to based on me knowing my guests for a long time. We had a great time and thank you for everything you did for us!!!

Rick provided DJ services for our wedding reception in January 2010. He did a great job of getting and keeping people on the dance floor. I especially appreciated the text updates and pictures from the reception that he put on a screen for everyone to see. Several people mentioned that they thought this was a bonus. I would definately hire him again!

We can say that Rick is a very nice guy, and we enjoyed meeting with him. We had a great time at our reception.

I honestly wish that I had used an iPod and had my maid of honor put together a playlist rather than pay for this package. We selected one with the DJ, photography, and text message requests/well wishes. We specifically selected songs for all the major events. However, the intro song was completely wrong. We had selected L-O-V-E and it was some terrible Elton John song. Then, he proceeded to play music that would make people at a nursing home complain. We asked him to play some up-beat 50's music during the food (we had a vintage themed wedding) and then modern music to dance. He found some horrible "remix" of 1950's songs. After our second request to change the music, he played modern songs that were so vulgar that my maid of honor (who is by no means conservative) kept telling them to change it. She had to point out that his "clean" versions had swear words every other breath. Then, two weeks later, we got the "pictures." Thank God we had an actual photographer who rocked. These pictures were not worth the extra money. His assistant took them at crazy angles. In theory, this was supposed to make them more interesting? Only about two or three of them were usable. We had over 1,000 pictures from friends and family and they were all better than these. He also helped himself to dinner while putting the music on auto-play and put his projector in the middle of our dance area. Then, after the fact, we realized that we never had text message requests and well wishes. When I asked him about it, he said he never set it up because cell phone reception was so poor where we were. I'm sorry, but I paid for it and would like to have had the option. If they didn't work, they didn't work. Overall, I'm highly disappointed by this choice. I'm very glad that everyone else had great experiences, but mine was no where near acceptable. The only good thing I can say about him is that the kids loved the lights he projected since that's all they took pictures of.

We can't say enough good things about Rick Ryan! His lighting, the music, the slideshow, his personality, WOW!

We know Rick in a personal and professional manner. We hired Rick to be the DJ at our wedding ceremony and reception. He met with us before the event date and put us at ease by showing us all of his lighting and went over the set-up. We had a fantastic time talking with him and on the wedding day he showed up early wearing very professional attire and after setting up his own equipment even helped the groom finish coordinating things for the wedding.
