The photos were wonderful. Everything went well and the photographers were professional and pleasant. I would recomment them to anyone who needed to get pictures. They were a wonderful part of our wedding.

Rick King of RIK Photography truly is an ARTIST! Anyone can point an expensive lens at someone, snap a picture and call themselves a photographer. Rick on the other hand, is truly gifted. The imagery and imagination captured in his photos of our special day surpassed everything we had envisioned. The character and artistry of his work is evident in every shot..
From the moment we hired him, Rick demonstrated professionalism. He communicated with us regularly throughout the planning process. When the wedding was over, Rick followed up with us to make certain we were satisfied with his work. He exceeded anyone's expectations when he photographed our wedding despite having just suffered a personal tragedy in his own life.

They came with their own great ideas and everything that I wanted to try they were game for. There were 2 photographers which made it easy to get my pictures and my grooms, then after they took the group pictures while one captured the reception! Some of my family wasn't the nicest and they even handled that well and told me not to worry! Great group! I hope to go back for an anniversary and take pictures in the same spot :]

We will assist you in finding those gorgeous vistas and capture awesome images of you and your loved ones in this wonderful mountain setting.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

We are experienced in shooting both indoor and outdoor weddings as well as receptions that go into the night.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We shoot totally digital files.

How many photographers do you work with?

Typically we have two photographers at every wedding unless it's a small event.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Except in extreme circumstances. We also have a network of professional photographers in the area who can fill in in the event of an emergency.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

At our mountain wedding venue we can easily have up to 2 weddings on a given day, although not at the same time. We are happy to quote prices for an entire day or weekend that would be exclusive to one client.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

yes

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Nikon digital cameras with a variety of lenses for different applications. Lighting equipment, reflectors, etc. as needed. At our venue/studio we also have access to many props, swings, sets, backdrops etc.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

yes

Do you charge hourly or full day?

depends on the event and circumstances

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

depends on the event and circumstances

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We typically take breaks during breaks in the action, ie. between the bridal portraits and the groomsmen, while the guests are eating at the reception, as you really don't want photos of people eating. We do require a meal if shooting a reception on location.

Do you charge for travel?

depends on the event and circumstances

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

We guarantee withing 3 weeks, but typically have them available much sooner than that, and try to have some previews available on Facebook or our Blog within a few days.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

online proofing provided

How long can the client keep the proofs?

they are stored online indefinately

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

yes, however arrangements can be made to accommodate most any situation.
