Ritz Carlton Kapalua

This location has a great ocean view for weddings, and the price is more reasonable than Four Seasons. It has several sites for outdoor ceremony and reception, and indoor ballrooms as well. The rooms are very well decorated with high ceilings. However, their group sales department really messed up on our rooms. They changed all the room numbers on the day our guests arrived. And they delivered our welcome totes to every room before they made the change. So many totes were sent to the wrong rooms. Luckily, our wedding planner was able to trace them and got them exchanged. Overall food and wedding services were good. Entertainment was a bit overpriced. They insisted on using their preferred vendors on many services and did a major markup. But they are very flexible on last minute changes. We had a storm on our wedding day. They were able to make the changes on the day of. Also, their front lobby staff and catering staff were always there catering our needs.

This was our first time to Hawaii and it was AWESOME! My parents offered to cover the cost of the honeymoon - which was pretty high- but the location and the service was exceptional. It's a gorgeous property and everything was just remodeled. We felt like royalty on this trip and we're already planning a trip back for our anniversary.

The Ritz upgraded us for free, then walked us around to 3 rooms so that we could pick the one that we wanted. The service and the food was exceptional and I would want every couple to stay here for their honeymoon. The room size was great and the décor was very up to date with hardwood floors in each room! The view was amazing as well!

My friend Clarence is a sales manager for Ritz Carlton and every time I talk to him he tells me that I have to get to one of the Hawaiian locations. So we decided to take his advice and try it for our honeymoon. With so much to do in Hawaii, we could have done something different every day, but we barely even needed to leave the property. This was the best vendor decision we made in all of our wedding planning.

GO TO HAWAII!! It was both a relaxing and romantic experience. There was plenty to do and many opportunities to just take in the views. The food was good in the surrounding areas of Kapalua and the food at the Ritz was incredible. The Ritz is a clssy place and the service there is top-notch. It is well worth the expense!
