They were great... I had no problems with my dress and I always received exceptional service. I was recommended to them because of their tailoring services and they exceeded my expectations.=o)

I knew I had a tight budget on my dress so I didn’t’ even bother going to Kleinfelds, lest I fall in love with something beyond my financial capabilities. So a friend recommended the infamous “No Frills” bridal salon, RK Bridal. And indeed, it was no frills. The store looks like one big warehouse with racks and racks of white gowns in plastic bags. It was a eerie sight and not at all elegant, feminine or romantic. Nevertheless, I did find my dress with the help of Sherri. I told her exactly what I wanted and what my budget was and she didn’t strayed too far from my wants. And she never never pushy. My dress came in about a month before expected delivery which was a plus. Since I’m not so much of a girly girl, I would recommend this bridal salon for the no frills experience. But I would NOT go to them for alterations after reading so many horror stories.

I think that RK has a bad rep. because they are a huge warehouse store. I didnt mind so much that it wasnt the most comfy bridal boutique. My only concern is getting the best price on the dress I love and for that I reccomend RK. They match prices by 5% and they have the largest selection Ive seen so far. I hate the idea of driving all over the place to try on one dress at each bridal salon. This place has them all in one spot! I havent ordered the dress yet b/c I think it may be a bit soon but I will be getting it from RK.

I found my dress at RK Bridal after much searching and since I had started my dress shopping early, I decided to shop around for my dress. After receiving a really great price on my dress from another shop, I went back to RK Bridal and asked if they would price match and they agreed. I was fitted for my dress and when it came in it was too tight. After I went back a few times, I decided I had to get spanx in order to properly fit into the dress without it bulging in weird places. I went for a fourth time and had called ahead and asked if it was ok if I try my dress on again. The woman on the phone agreed. When I went to try on my dress in person, the woman working there told me that I can no longer come and try on my dress until my first fitting which was 3 months away since I came a few times already. She made me sign a paper that said if I come one more time that I need to take my dress home despite the fact that I had called and asked prior to coming. Alterations ended up going well since I didn't have much to alter and the dress fit exact.

RK bridal definitely has a great selection of dresses and we also did the no-frills program with the bridesmaids dresses. Their prices are great and they'll price match almost anything.

I hated this place. The dresses were dirty and the saleperson that was helping me was rushing me to try dresses and kept putting sizes that didn't fit me. I asked for one style they bring what they wanted. I was not happy here at all. So Still serching for my dress =(

I loved my dress, absolutely loved everything about it. On my first dress shopping trip it was the 2nd dress I tried and I knew I just had to get it. Aisha was my consultant, and she was just wonderful, based on what I told her, and pictures I had she picked my dress out. The person, who takes your order, sucks, she was on the phone the whole time while taking my measurements, and she was pissed off when I only paid half of the dress that day. Their alterations are ridiculously expensive, all they did to my dress was the bustle and remove the bow, and it was $350, I was annoyed, because they told me the maximum amount they change for alterations was $350

Bridesmaid Dresses. Purchased in November from RK Bridal. All BMs (were shipped to different addresses in different states) received before the end of January. We ordered Bari Jay, Styles 411 (MOH) and 638 (BMs). The beauty about these styles is that they look exactly alike in the cut and drape. The only difference is that the MOHs dress has the crystals scattered throughout the bodice whereas the BMs dresses have the stones only at the top of the bodice. Also, the MOHs dress has a corset back and the others did not. It was a way to allow my sister to be somewhat unique without interrupting the flow of the dress styles. I did not find any other companies that offered something like this.

They had a huge selection of dresses and many price ranges to choose from. They get a B because of their lack of customer service… but for the selection and prices, it was definitely worth as I didn’t want my girls to have to pay a fortune for a dress they were going to wear once.

They have the best selection in New York, unless you are looking for high end designer dresses. They don't carry the super high end designers. Gilda was amazing. She was the most helpful salesperson I found in all of New York. My one major complaint was that my dressed shipped AFTER the date they said it should, which cost me extra money to have shipped express.
I wasn't as impressed with their bridesmaid dress customer service, but they certainly have a large selection.

Great bridal shop! The gowns came in a few weeks early which was a really pleasant surprise.

I ordered the dress in their NY retail Store (not online). Service was fine. The saleslady was helpful, but not pushy. The dress was shipped and arrived a week ahead of schedule. I had a good experience with them.

I had a great experience with RK Bridal. It's kinda of common that Chinese brides will wear more than one dresses on their wedding day: one wedding gown for the ceremony and one evening gown for reception. I bought a Jim Hjelm floor length bridemaids dress as my evening gown just because it's soooo gorgeous, and I dont think I can find anything more flattering in department store, and it's much much cheaper than any other designer ones....
Ok, back to RK Bridal.....They have a huuuge collection for almost everyone: the bride, bridemaids, mother of bride.....Dont expect supreme customer service. There are so many dresses and so many customers, the environment is like a factory outlet!
Sales staffs there are not too friendly and a little bit pushy, but I can definitely understand that.
The best strategy is to search online first, best trying some dresses in some up-scale boutique first, once you find your dream dress, get a quote, go to RK Bridal, they will beat the price by another 5%, and deals done!
Anyway, I got my dress for about $220 which is quoted originally in London for 325 pounds! Cant expect more!!!!

I really had a great experience dealing with RK. The bridal store my sisters used went out of business and I really didn't want to run around to a ton of stores. When I was advised to try RK bridal I gave it a try and I was extremely pleased.
The women were very helpful without being pushy. I thought I wanted a certain look but ended up with a different style that looked better on me. The price wasn't crazy and my appointments were stress free. I recommend them to anyone getting married.

My dress was set to be into their New York store on April 2 and in their initial email to me, I was told to expect the dress to my apartment in LA about a week to 10 days after that. Around April 20, I got concerned and called the store. They said the dress was shipped and I should call back for a tracking number. I call back for the tracking number the following day and was told that the dress had NOT shipped and they did not know where my dress was! Mind you, they are under the impression that my wedding is July 9, 2005 (our original date when I ordered).

After a couple days of calling to harrass them (because they never called with status updates), they finally figured out the dress got sent back to Christina Wu. I finally got the dress, it's in good condition...actually, it's absolutely GORGEOUS and MUCH prettier than the ad pictures. The only reason RKBridal gets a D instead of an F is because they price matched the lowest price I found plus gave me an extra 5% off.

I found my wedding dress at RK Bridal the first time I went looking. It was the third dress I tried on. RK was wonderful and offered a great value for the money.

They were flexible in dealing with me as I got pneumonia before my wedding and had to change a fitting appointment - they rescheduled without a problem.

Juan was my tailor for every fitting and he designed cap sleeves for my dress that matched perfectly.

Everyone there treated us with respect and support.

Yes, it is a warehouse type of STORE. It is a store people, it just has tons and tons of dresses. So if you get overwhelmed easily, like me, just breathe and take your time. It was just too many dresses for me.

I had a Kleinfeld's appointment, I might still keep it, but I don't think it will be worthwhile. RK has a great selection, the owner was nice. Aisha -- wonderful.

If you want to feel really special, go before 2:00 p.m. and go during the week. I went both times between 12-2 and NO ONE WAS there. I had almost all the consultants to myself. I was treated beautifully. Now, I just placed my order, so I have sometime before the dress gets here, but they were great.

RK bridal is a great no frills wedding gown superstore. You have to approach this place knowing what you want to try on because there are so many choices. You cant go in and start looking with no designer and style in mind. Its definitely not a fancy place dont expect people to be kissing your butt while you are trying on dresses and looking around and make sure you go on a weekday. I was in there briefly on a saturday and the place was packed. The prices are good and the selection is fantastic. my only complaint is that it very hot in there all the time and sometimes it was hard to get through on the phone. Wear a short sleeve shirt...

Purchased wedding dress yesterday from RK Bridal-just would like to share my experience. We got there at 9:00 no line yet people started coming about 9:15. At 9:30 went in and signed up for a dressing room and called right away. I dealt w. Gilda she was great. Very patient and not pushy. I pulled some dresses and she pulled some so had a nice selection. they only allow 7 dresses but I think I had 9. I researched online and printed out pictures w. style #'s. they did not have a lot on my list but I was more interested in a certain style than a special designer. They did have the one that I really wanted to try on so very happy There is a mirror in the dressing room and outside a bunch of 3 way mirrors w. pedestals so as you check yourself out so does everyone waiting and you get to see others too. Lots of fun! I had went before to check it out. Its set up be designer and sytle. I was interested in straight so I just stuck by that area. And its great you pull your own dresses so you can the see the price and you won't be totally shocked after you try on a dress. I didn't want to spend over 800.00 so I didn't try on anything over that price. They suggest if you want a specific style call or go to the desk and check to see if they carry it so you don't waste time. Alteration 350. cash don't know if i will use them. seems expesive but the prices of the dresses are so good. I had tried on a dress at another place priced 1000.00 at RK 600.00. You can't beat the selection.

I bought my gown here, in spite of some crazy reviews I've read. My experience was flawless. My gown is beautiful and it was exactly what I wanted. It even fit perfectly!

RK is very bare bones, no frills and makes me realize why brides pay double the money to go to boutique stores or Kleinfelds. I found a gorgeous dress and certainly paid a fraction of what I would have at any of the major bridal shops. The service was merely so-so, which isn’t really what you’re looking for when you are making what is one of the most important purchases a woman can make in her lifetime. I went on a Saturday morning with my mother, who flew up for Florida for this one purpose, and my mother-in-law who lived locally. We were there when the store opened and were assigned to a lovely woman. They pulled a bunch of dresses for me, none of which were ones I had on my list, as they didn’t have those. Don’t get me wrong, they have a pretty large selection and it worked out for the best that they didn’t have exactly what I wanted because I ended up with the perfect dress for me anyway. My mother happened to be the one to find the dress & bring it to me to try on. When I put it on, the woman told me she thought it was the dress & I cried when I looked in the mirror and when I stepped out of the room, bother mothers began to cry. It’s a good thing that I found the dress & it was the last one I tried on – they were very clear that I was limited to the number of dresses I could try on because if they were busy they needed to get to other brides & if I didn’t find the dress before I tried on 7 or 8 dresses, I would need to go back another time. I found this a little offensive, but it all worked out. Once I ordered my dress & it arrived exactly when they said it would, I went for my try on and then my fittings. The seamstress was absolutely horrible and I was in tears after every fitting. The dress was ordered way too big which really ticked me off because that tells me they were doing it to maximize alteration fees. The girl that helped me into my dress & the seamstress actually got into an argument over how my dress should be altered. The girl that helped dress me thought the dress was way too big and needed to be taken in at the waist and chest. The seamstress said since it was corseted it didn’t need to be taken in too much & that I would be able to just pull the corset tighter. This is what ended up happening as the seamstress barely spoke to me in English and kept insisting it be altered her way. Not knowing any better, since I’m not a seamstress or someone who works with wedding gowns regularly, I thought she knew what she was doing. Unfortunately, when I arrived in Florida and put on my dress, we kept having to tighten the corset on it & it kept falling down on me at my reception. The dress looked beautiful and I was thrilled with the end result but the frustration of dealing with the people at RK bridal and wearing a dress that was too big on me, makes me tell any other soon to be bride to go elsewhere.

We only got our bridesmaid dresses through rkbridal.

True to their ad, rkbridal gave us 5% off the lowest price we found (which was through netbride.com). The dress comes with a ribbon in ivory (the one we ordered) or a matching solid ribbon. We filled out the form correctly, but they called me to double-check just to be safe, which I really appreciated. The dresses came in quickly, all the right sizes, no complaints.

I know they have gotten some mixed reviews in the past, but I could not be happier! My salesperson, Olga, was wonderful and the alteration process went very well. I even bought my rehearsal dress from them and my mom bought her dress from them and had it altered there. My only word of advice is save your receipts. I bought my dress a year before my wedding and when I went back for alterations they tried to say my dress was not paid in full when it was. I showed them my receipt and they apologized and took care of it immediately. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from RK Bridal using their no frills policy. They had a 110% guarantee so they provided the lowest prices and I received the dresses without any issues within a few weeks. The only problem is that the dresses were a little big, even though we followed their measuring instructions. Overall their prices were great, and they shipped the products quickly, so I couldn't ask for anything more.

I was referred to the site by a friend. Ladies- when I went to the site I fell in love with the gowns. I was a very skeptical about ordering a dress for one of the most important days of my life, but my friend did not steer me wrong. The selection is huge (No I really mean GIGANTIC). You will have a problem deciding, but when you do you will be very happy. You can send them your measurements and they do the rest. The only drawback was that when I got the dress I had to have a few alterations done ( that could have been my mis-measuring), but that was very minor. My local tailor was able to make it perfect.

They had a huge selection of dresses it was hard for me to choose some for the girls.

I bought my dress from RK Bridal in NYC. This is a really great place…it is huge, and they have pretty much every dress you see in all the wedding magazines. The dresses are organized by designer. All of the straight (ie, not large and poofy) dresses are pulled away separately from the other dresses, which was great for me because I wanted something not so princess-like. You don’t have to make an appointment, you just sign up on a sheet when you arrive. You pick out five or six dresses, and your attendant (who helps you try on the dresses) will pick out a few more based on your picks and your body type, etc. It can get hectic on the weekends, but my attendant was really fun and didn’t rush me at all. And, most importantly, they have lots of dresses that are reasonably priced! My dress was under $700. Don’t even bother with the website, though, it is awful.

The retail price for the Bill Levkoff dresses we chose was $240. Received a quote from PerfectBridaldresses.com for $161 plus free shipping and no sales tax. RK matched the quote from Perfect Bridal including the free shipping option plus an additional 5% off ($161). They arrived two weeks earlier than promised.

I found out about RK bridal because my friend got her wedding dress there. One my first visit to the shop a bridal dress expert (Gilda) helped me pick and try on dresses. Gilda was a life saver, she was honest and blunt about each dress and pick out amazing dresses for my body type. However I didn't pick out my dress until the second visit to the shop. I had narrowed it down to 2 dresses I had tried out before. The store has very good prices and each fitting went well. I couldn't be happier with my dress and the service at RK Bridal.

------A-I was just a bridesmaid and all the dresses were the wrong sizes, who ever measured us, measured wrong! We all had to take the dresses to be altered and I had to pay over 150 at my dry cleaners to size it down 3 sizes!
it is worth paying a little more just for measuring. Everytime the bride called, no one could give an answer if the gowns were in, when she got called, they acted like they were there for months and they arrived that day!!!!I would look around and go elsewhere!

My mom and I had a great experience at RK Bridal. Emily was wonderful! I showed her a pic of the dress I wanted, she grabbed it right away and a few others similar in style. Needless to say I love my dress and the price is exceptional! They took my measurements right away and asked that I only pay half. We then went over to the bridesmaid section and the selection was huge. So I had my mom be my model and she tried on a number of dresses until we found the right one. We had a great time at RK Bridal. No pushy sales people, Bridal and Bridesmaid section associates were extremely helpful.

It's funny I was leery about going after reading some of the reviews because I was really expecting to enter a world of disaster but I loved the huge selection (most bridal shops I tried had such a small selection that I found myself bouncing around from store to store and becoming extremely frustrated in addition I didn't want anyone forcing me to buy a dress, and I wanted to stick to my budget). RK Bridal was a great experience. I haven't decided if I will get the alterations done there a friend did and said it was a great experience but we'll see!

(I would give them 5 stars but I have to see what the experience with alterations will be like if I decide to go with them.)

They saved my brides wedding. I am the maid of honor. We went to Le Bella Couture Atelier in Dobbs Ferry first. They were horrible. total scam. RK bridal came through. We bought the same dress for $325 less.

this place is horrible. it is so awful that i am writing negative reviews about it everywhere i can find to online, and i have never done that before. customer service clearly is not valued AT ALL here. the people are uniformly incompetent and disinterested. they could not be more unhelpful. they overcharged my credit card by $400, they do not accept returns (i tried to return my overpriced guest book), they put my dress order in under the wrong name, they never called me to tell me the dresses were in, when i went in to pick up a dress that should have been there i waited for 30+ minutes before they told me that it must have shipped, they could not find a receipt for my dresses (which is convenient, since they overcharged me so much) and i waited while they dug through their generic receipts in a cardboard box for a receipt they never found. this place is dirty and run down, the employees are awful, and you are pretty much gauranteed to walk out of this place with new gray hairs.

RK BRIDAL was horrible.....A NIGHTMARE...Gilda was a nice salesperson, but they are very pushy...They pressured me into buying my gown. It was exactly what I wanted and they took advantage of that. She pressured me to get it too soon, and when I went home, I found it on HOUSE OF BRIDES.COM for $350.00...when I just bought it from RK BRIDAL for over $1200. Talk about a rip off....I called them immediately because of their no frills, will beat them by 5% policy...well that is only if you didn't purchase it already...they need the info ahead of time...they hadn't even processed order yet and they wouldn't budge....PLus they ordered my dress about 6 sizes too large, and then I found out that the minimum alterations is $350....they order TOO BIG on purpose to make money on the alterations...I will be pissed if the dress looks funny because they have to take it in..I even contemplated cancelling the order, eating the $500 deposit and ordering from houseofbrides, only to find out that if you cancel your order, they still charge the remaining balance of the dress to your credit card....what a RIP OFF...please save yourselves the trouble and go somewhere else...they aren't worth it....I feel horrible that I got taken advantage of. Since I wrote this I have picked up my dress. I had to wait 45minutes to be taken care of, only to find them searching for my dress.. AND IT WAS RIPPED....someone wore it, it was dirty, and the jacket that comes with it was sliced, torn, damaged.... Also I ordered 2 yards of satin fabric, to make a sash, and it wasn't two yards at all, and there were two huge chunks taken out of the fabric, like someone took fabric for a swatch. The owner REED, wasn't helpful and did nothing to rectify the situation. He won't replace the fabric, which they said was going to be $40, and was over $100, or the jacket to the gown. He was RIDICULOUS and NOT GOOD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION. I froze my credit card payment and will not be paying them for the damaged merchandise. They have officially ruined my wedding!!!
