The Dj played alot of songs for the whole crown to participate in..for example..electric slide. This made a very active crowd and i truely think everyone enjoyed themselves. The more songs like this..the better. If anyone didnt know how the dance went the Dj was on the floor as well. We had a blast

Ryan and his crew were true professionals. It is great to see a local company excel, and there is no where but success ahead for RMF. They were responsive and answered any questions and/or concerns. Ryan was honest and candid - two traits I greatly value. Ryan pulled the day together without having to be told what to do. There was no point that I was worried about the entertainment. I knew that I could trust Ryan and his crew with the ceremony music and the reception with very little direction. Ryan and RMF rocked it, like usual. Absolutely the best DJ service I've ever seen and what made it even better for us is that they were at our wedding. Appreciate your hard work, effort, and most of all we all had a great time. If you're reading this I don't know why you wouldn't hire these guys. They might be a little more then other DJs but that extra 100 to 200 bucks is worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend RMF Entertainment to dj your wedding. Our wedding had a full dance floor at 1am thanks to the great job RMF did! The crew is very energetic and keeps guests of all ages entertained. The wedding planning form on their website gives the top 50 songs for each 'event' (father daughter dance, cake cutting, bride and groom dance, etc)...VERY HELPFUL!

RMF Entertainment did and AMAZING job for our wedding! I have a few friends getting married in the next year, and have already told them all that RMF Entertainment is the only way to go! They had everything ready, and planned out. We loved RMF. They responded quickly to emails when I was first searching for a service and continued after we had chosen them. They were very flexible in meeting times and make your wedding about you and your needs. Neal made every request happen even if he had to use his smart phone to do it - including pulling off a great surprise my family had in store for me. I would recommend them for any event.

We had Nick as our Dj. RMF gave us his cell phone prior to our wedding because I had nightmares of our Dj not showing up (due to a no show Dj at a friend's wedding - different company!!). When we called Nick either answered or called back right away. He got there with plenty of time to set up. He played everything perfectly, taught the guests a few moves, played all the requested songs, and happily played another hour into the night. He wasn't on the mic too much either which was nice. He could have taken charge a little more early on in the reception, but we understand that he didn't want to pull us away from visiting with our guests either. He never bugged us about money, but we also kept him informed on when and who would be paying him. I would definitely reccommend him in the future to any prospective couple looking to have a fun party at their wedding. Also Ryan and Neil are UBER fast at getting back to u with any questions u have. They are also very flexible with meeting you almost any day of the week.

Make sure you know what kind of music you and your guests like. Our DJ got everyone on the floor!!! Including my grandparents in their 80's showing the youngsters how to country line dance, my father-in-law was doing the moonwalk and my dad was doing the twist! Make sure there is a little bit of something for everyone!

Ryan Bradshaw was an awesome DJ. He arrived hours before the ceremony to set up and make sure everything was working. It was a fairly casual outdoor wedding and I hadn't specified what type of dress. He showed up in a very professional looking shirt, pants, and a tie on a 90 degree day. He played the music for our ceremony and had it organized to play the right songs at the right time. When he played music during the cocktail hour, he made sure to keep the guests informed on the status of dinner, what the bride and groom were doing, and then announced when we were ready to eat. He kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire reception. It made the reception feel like it was very well planned. Once the dancing started later, he made sure to do dances and play songs that got everyone out on the dance floor. Many of our guests commented that he was the best DJ they'd ever seen. He played a great variety of music. We are a young couple, but most of our family is older. He kept everyone entertained with his song selections. I would highly recommend RMF to anyone looking for wedding entertainment. Ryan was very professional, personable, and made the wedding as fun as it could be. We usually aren't ones who like to dance much, but we had just as much fun as anyone!

I would 100% recommended RMF to everyone I know. Many of my guests said it was the funnest wedding they had been to. They were so organized ahead of time, and did an amazing job the day of my wedding. They were flexible with all of my requests and made sure the day turned out just how I wanted it to. When things were slowing down, he got out there with some crowd involvement dances and in an instant everything picked back up. Made my wedding event a huge success.

I absolutely recommend RMF for your event - I was planning from out of town and he was the first vendor we booked. His email correspondence was prompt and professional, their online planning forms are so convenient, and you can tell he prides himself on his business and being the best DJ company in western Montana! He patiently met with us multiple times before the event, and I can't begin to praise the quality of his work for our ceremony and reception. Everything was perfect - he helped keep the reception events on schedule, kept every single person on the dance floor for the ENTIRE night, and even taught our guests a line dance. RMF Entertainment DJ'ed at our wedding in June 2010. They are quite flexible. Due to a military deployment, we had to move our wedding from July to June. Not only were the guys professional and accommodating, they even arranged for us to have our original requested DJ.

On our wedding day, I really appreciated that the DJ (Neal) communicated with us during the reception to make sure we were ready for cake cutting, toasts etc. He listened to our requests, was very personable and was very professional. The music was great. He played a nice mix of family-friendly music for the older crowd and everyone like the selection.

Overall I felt that Neal and RMF pulled off a flawless reception. Thank you so much for giving us exactly what we wanted.

RMF Entertainment was absolutely amazing! I couldn't have been happier with their customer service, flexibility and of course their performance! Ryan was great to work with and an A+ DJ. He did a great job announcing, moving the wedding along at the right pace and playing music that people actually wanted to dance to. My guests were slow to get up and dance, so he changed the beat and started dancing games that got everyone involved. It was one of the best decisions we made for this wedding. Everyone had a great time and raved about the music selection. I would book RMF Entertainment for my next event in a heartbeat!

As for all events - when it comes to music - know your audience. It's a great opportunity when you sit with your partners and choose the music that you love, but also keep in mind your guests and what type of music they might enjoy.

Let your DJ know in advance if your group/guests will require more interaction from the dj then normal. I firmly believe that a dj can make or break a party.
His interaction with the group is very welcomed and for some reason - non threatening to those shy folks who are dying to dance, but can't do it on their own.

If you are having difficulty "getting the party started" it's important to continue trying songs that make people want to dance. Once you find that right tune, DO NOT PLAY A SLOW SONG RIGH AFTER YOU FINALLY GOT EVERYONE out on the dance floor. I find this to be the cardinal sin for a DJ.

As far as DJ services are concern - it's a great investment! Everyone can forgive bad food service, bad decor, but you can't forgive a bad DJ. Pay for quality and you will get quality.

RMF DJ-ed my wedding in October 2009. They were great! We had to move the reception to a different part of the lodge at the last minute due to weather and they were able to adapt to the new space and provide wonderful entertainment. RMF Entertainment provided the music for my sister's wedding this weekend. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event that needs a dj. We had Blake as our DJ and we were very impressed. At first it was weird for us because all of the planning was done through Ryan and we were only able to meet with Blake once. But I will give these guys full credit. Everything they promise happens! That is very rare these days and Blake was so well informed and prepared to make our day special. RMF Entertainment is a very professional company that was more than willing to maintain open communication. The DJ was dressed professionally and was great at reading the crowd and choosing music based on that. Our guests said they had a wonderful time dancing. Michael Jacobsen was a great DJ. He was professional and well dressed, but he was also fun. Michael was able to show us some dance moves and played great selections based on our guests requests. Michael was flexible with his hours and willing to stay longer if requested. I would reccommend RMF Entertainment DJ Services to anyone in the Missoula area.

Neal (or DJ) was great! We had a ton of compliments throughout the night about how awesome he was and the dance floor was absolutely packed the whole time. The only negative thing I heard was that a few people were requesting more hip-hop/rap music and he didn't play it...but I think it was because country music (what we wanted) kept the dance floor more active than anything else. Neal also did a great job of keeping the night moving and making annoucements without being too talkative. DEFINITELY would reccomend Neal and RMF to any other bride!

We had RMF DJ our New Year's Eve wedding and could not have been happier. Ladies, the money you spend on the DJ/entertainment is worth every penny! Not only for the exceptionally professional service at the reception but also for the ease of working with them up to the event. I honestly did not have to worry about the music - one less thing! My now husband and I have two very different music styles and they captured our wishes and the feeling we wanted perfectly. Ryan was one of the first to meet us at the door of the reception to go over any last minute changes (and we had a big one- one of the bridesmaids was snowed in and we had to make some intro changes). From start to finish they kept the dance floor full all night long- no akward moments of music blaring into an empty dance floor - one of my true tests of a good party! They even had my dad learning the Cupid Shuffle! They were extremely accomodating with our New Year's countdown and other special requests and handled all the details perfectly. #1 recommendation, hands down. The DJ sets the tone for the entire evening and we are still getting compliments and would not hesitate to pass RMF's number to anyone looking to have a great time with great people. RMF was honestly the most expensive company I talked to but I'm sooooo glad we went with them. We talked to a few companies that only liked to brag about themselves and what they've accomplished. RMF was about us from the start to finish and they were AMAZING at the reception. They made perfect announcements and helped people out the entire night. Our guests were dancing for 2 hours straight. Hire them! You won't be disappointed in the end.

I absolutely loved RMF Entertainment!!!!! They did everything they said they would do and more. My family and friends still talk about how much fun we had. The Dj's were great about what kind of music to play and knowing what exactly the crowd needed. Booking RMF was really easy and they respond very quickly to phone calls and emails. They have a great website and form they use to get to know you. The seemed very professional at the beginning of the wedding and the reception. They did help themselves to the booze and the food.

The DJ got lost, played stuff that we did not request and didn't play our requests until the bride went to talk to him. He than approched the bride in the middle of visiting with friends to discuss the balance due. The best man had the check and paid him, but not before he distracted from the party. He basically put the music on a list of overplayed wedding songs and wondered around the resort. It was a huge disappointment considering how great the managers of RMF where before the big day.

DJ services are very important to the flow of a wedding. Without the right emcee, who is going to keep you on track? Some girls forget to toss their bouquet, or even forget to cut their cake because they're so wrapped up in the big day! A true DJ will professionally guide your guests through the event timeline, all the while reading the crowd, and playing the appropriate song list. As a wedding venue, we need the support of the DJ to make sure toasts are poured before speeches start, the flow of guests through a buffet is managed, and last call is announced at the right time (among many other things!). But the guys at RMF are always spot on! They do a fantastic job.

Ryan and his staff at RMF entertainment are a great choice for weddings & events. Every wedding that I have worked at where RMF is playing music has been a pleasure. They cater to the crowd, take requests and keep the party hopping. They do a great job and always look professional.
