We had a good experience with Robbins sales rep who worked with us to help decide on the right rings for engagement and wedding. While the rep did show some that the thought would be the right fit, he was very flexible with our input. Jewelry was received at the site ahead of plan delivery dates.

My husband bought my engagement ring from Robbins and I'm glad he did! A couple days before our wedding, and a day before we left the area for our wedding my ring broke... The band separated from the crown. I called the store and explained the situation and was told that I should bring it down that day and that the jeweler would take care of promptly the next morning and it would be ready for us to pick up on our trip to our wedding. My ring looked like new and they fixed it at no cost to us. It was a relief to have my ring back and on time for our wedding. We also purchased my wedding band from them and I am very pleased.

We got my engagement ring and my husbands wedding band at Robbins. I don't think you could find a more sparkly diamond than mine! They were really great to work with. I love that you can go in and look through all their prototypes without anyone bugging you. You can try on a million different rings with no hassle. The no hassle thing was very important to us. We went to another major retailer and the pressure was unacceptable. I was having a dizzy spell (I think from the lights in the store) and they still were bugging and pressuring us like crazy. But at Robbins there was no pressure, just information and helpfulness. Go to Robbins!

We went to Robbins in DE based on the recommendatin of my husband's cousin. On our first trip, we met Bill, who helped us select a beautiful engagement ring. That initial appointment was fantastic! Bill was friendly, funny, and helped us understand what we were buying. We got a very reasonable price, too.
For that reason, when it came time to buy our wedding bands, we made another appointment with Bill. Bill took us to the prototype case and let use peruse the selection. From ones that we had pulled from the case, he selected one, held it up to my engagement ring, and told us that it was our matching band (literally "That IS your band!"). I really wanted one with pave diamonds all the way around, but Bill insisted that that ring was perfect, that I didn't need that, and that my concerns (that the ring would spin on my finger and I'd constantly be needing to right it since the diamonds only go part-way around) were unfounded (turns out they weren't-- my band does exactly what I was afraid it would and it drives me nuts). We ordered it and a band for my then-fiance. When the rings came in, Bill demanded we come up to DE (a 1.5 hour drive for us) that weekend to pay off the rings and try them on, since he was going out-of-town and he insisted on being there when we came. Despite plans that weekend, we rushed up to DE to do as Bill requested, only to have him push us off on an associate while he helped another customer.
When we got the rings home that evening, we realized that my wedding band in no way matched my E-ring, so I drove back to DE before work Monday to get to the bottom of things, thinking maybe a mistake had been made in ordering. Bill wasn't there, so I spoke to another associate, who agreed that the ring didn't match and went to look in the computer system to investigate, at which point, he asked me if there was a reason we hadn't bought the band that matched my E-ring (to which I replied "We thought that one WAS the matching band!"). Turns out, as the associate told me, Bill should have looked in the computer system to see if a matching band existed (it did-- my ring was made by Nelson, who always makes a matching band). Instead, Bill lied to us and told us that the prototype WAS our matching band. As it turned out, the prototype band had a base price $500 greater than the price of the matching band. Wonder why Bill lied....
The associate then got the manager, who came over and asked what was wrong with the band we had already purchased and tried to convince me that the mismatched band looked fine and that we should keep it instead of ordering the matching one. When I refused, he told me that there was a very good chance that, in ordering the matching band, we wouldn't get it on time for our wedding and that, since the price of gold had gone up, the new band would be more expensive. No apologies. No effort to make things right (i.e. pay for a rushed order or pay for the difference in the price of gold). When the ring came in (thankfully, on time!), they told us we needed to get my E-ring re-dipped and tried to charge us $65. We have yet to hear an apology from anyone at Robbins for all the stress, time, and extra money. Buyer beware!

My husband got my engagement ring here and we went back for our wedding bands, I was quite happy with their selection in bands over other jewelers we went to. I just wanted wanted something simple in the wedding band because my e-ring has plenty of bling. Another jeweler didn't have anything to show me without diamonds in it, but Robbins had a ver varied selection.
I was a little disappointed that they could not help me get the super glue off my ring and was offended by the snobby attitude of one person that worked there. But I wouldn't hold that one person's poor customer service against the who store.

Buyer Beware!!!!
I was very happy with my engagement ring that was purchased through the Allentown, PA store, so we decided to also buy our wedding bands through Robbins. Long story short- one of my side diamonds fell out of my Tacori ring within a year of purchase. Robbin's said they'd send it back to Tacori to be fixed at no charge to me. We we went to set up the date of shipping the ring back we found out the store was closing! I called Gordon, the owner, to find out how we would go about this with the store closing. He told me Robbins would not cover it. (I guess he had bigger problems to deal with.)
Now that Robbins of Allentown is closed, if I have any problems with my ring I am to go to the Delaware store. I guess they want me to go there if my ring needs to be cleaned or inspected? My "Lifetime Warranty" Robbin's gave to us a year earlier is now invalid?!!
I would not buy engagement or wedding bands from a place what's bankrupt! (Look it up if you don't believe me! We didn't know either.)
Purchase these precious items from a jeweler they will be in business in the future!

Of all the jewelers we visited, Robbins takes the cake! It was the first place we went. We met with Toyin, who helped me pick my band. She listened to what I liked without being pushy. We came back after visiting other places in the mall that kept suggesting add-ons and credit cards. My husband's ring wasn't something they normally carried, so they made a special order. All of the salespeople were fantastic.

Robin's Diamonds is great because the stock in the front is all fake so you can touch it and try on jewelry without direct supervision.
The downside is that Robin's Diamonds doesn't really customize or change anything

We worked with Evan L. on choosing our Engagement Ring (my choice, I wanted to pick it out with my fiancee - we went after we got engaged) and then went back to get our wedding bands. They had quick service. They did not have my husband's band in the store, so we looked online at some options and when it came in if he was not happy with it we could get another one! We were happy with it. Evan even helped us save some money on my wedding band by sizing the ring in the store rather than purchase new for $500 more dollars!

We ordered our rings online, but we had some issues with them. The staff at Robbins answered all of our questions (we had tons), and helped us get my rings sized properly. We will definitely be using them for any future jewelry needs we may have.

I actually didn't go to the Delaware location, we got my engagement ring at the old Roosevelt Mall location in Northeast Philadelphia. The actual experience of picking out the ring was great. They were very helpful in selecting the setting and the diamond that would fit our price range. The financing offer can't be beat. The only complaint I have is that my husband was told the ring would be in by a certain date and he planned a special surprise evening a week after the expected date to officially propose to me. We were not contacted about any problem or delay. He contacted them 3 days after the ring was supposed to be in and was told due to a convention, there was a delay. The delay held up my ring until 5PM on the evening he was to propose to me. Had it been any later, the night would have been completely ruined. I'm sorry but a convention means nothing to me when youv'e had over a month to set a diamond in a setting and ship it out to the next state over. It should not have been an issue, and due to someones incompetence it was. Great product. Great sales service. Absolutely terrible service otherwise.

We purchased my engagement ring and wedding band at the Robbins location on Walnut St. in Philadelphia. They have an amazing selection of many top jewelry designer and others as well. The salesperson (who no longer works there) was only focused on us, no matter how busy that shop became. She was diligent in her customer service, but not pushy or overly forward. It seemed as if her only desire was to allow me to find "the ring." My husband indicates that their conversations regarding payment and shipping were equally as favorable. We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with them.

We bought our wedding bands from Robbins Delaware Diamonds. I wanted a plain white gold band to match the style of my engagement band, which was one of a kind. Mark Bell, our consultant, was so incredibly helpful. He contacted a company who sold a similar band in their store and actually had them alter it and make it thinner to match my engagement band, for no additional charge! It took a big longer, which was to be expected, but we were so pleased. My husband got a matching band also. They do free engraving and sizing (after the initial sizing, they only size down for free - sizing up requires the addition of gold and you have to pay for the cost of the gold they add).

We used Robbins for both the wedding bands as well as the engagment ring. We had gone shopping to all of the big names in the mall and just were not impressed with the quality for the price they were charging. So one day just for fun we stopped at Robbins (thinking we would never be able to afford them) and were just looking around. I had selected a few different bands I liked to show my husband what styles I liked but I left the final decision up to him so it would still be a suprise. Evan L. was so helpful with the purchase of the engagment ring. He showed my husband all about diamonds and the 4 C's to help him understand exactly what he was getting. And they ended up creating the perfect ring for me. I get tons of compliments on it!

My husband and I picked out my engagement ring together because I did not know what I wanted. They were so helpful and patient with us for both my engagement ring and our wedding bands. My fiance and I went to many stores to look for an engagement ring. Most ignored us or were unwilling to show us different rings. Because I had said I preferred princess cut they would show us those and none of the others.
We went to Robbins on the spur of the moment. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked what we were looking for. They allowed us to wander around and look for ourselves till we were ready to talk to someone. They offered my fiance and I something to drink and even something to eat. They showed us the selection of princess cut rings and then suggested some other rings. They then showed us setting that we could place any cut center diamond into. We then narrowed it down to five rings. They to us to a private section so we could sit and mull over our choices. When we narrowed it to 2 rings we played with round and princess cut diamonds as our center diamond. Turns out that round cut was what caught my eye. When we were stuck between those last two rings, they made it simple. They said which on can you live without. That was all it took.
They helped us with financing and even gave us a discount.

Wonderful package came with my engagement ring. They offered to change the # of prongs at no cost to me. When it came time to pick out our wedding bands, they were less responsive than expected. My husband and I perused the store for a long time before being approached and then the woman who 'helped' us provided very little advice and couldn't tell me if my engagement ring was part of a set. I am extremely happy with my choice and that is my only complaint. To this day; however, they still regularly clean my rings for free and have even re-sized them after the birth of my first child when they were 1/4 size too small.
