We had our wedding at Rockefeller Lodge recently and were very pleased with the day. The lodge had a great combination of an outdoor gazebo for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and an indoor drinking and dining area for our reception. We had about 100 guests who fit comfortably in the indoor seating, although we could have expanded to include outdoor seating if we needed to. The staff was very helpful on the day of our wedding working with our DJ and point person to help ensure that everything went smoothly. We brought our own alcohol, and they did a great job of making sure that wine and beer were always available. We were a little nervous about the food because they did not do a tasting beforehand, but everyone at the wedding agreed that it was delicious and beautifully displayed! Also, the facility returned our deposit in full soon after our wedding, which was greatly appreciated. We were also incredibly pleased with how affordable and reasonable Rockefeller Lodge is relative to other facilities. We believe that we got a great deal on our wedding without sacrificing quality or service in any way. Our guests all loved the place and had a great time.
My only minor complaint was that they were not always great at returning emails prior to the wedding. We certainly were not overly demanding with our emails, but it frequently took some time to hear back and sometimes we had to follow up with a phone call. However everything did end up working out fine, so we can't complain too much.

The Rockefeller Lodge was the ideal location for our outdoor wedding. The staff was incredible and the Lodge is simple adorable, it lends just the right amount of simple elegence. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day!

We loved the Rockefeller Lodge it was the perfect location for our wedding. We had the best wedding and of course I'm completely biased. The Rockefeller Lodge was very responsive to any of my crazy bride inquires or worries prior to the big day. They helped me out with any of my concerns and walked me through the big day process. The staff was helpful and friendly. The staff was even patient with my friends and family who were running around and yelling at each other during decorating phase of the day. They had a lot in regards to food choices and the food was fantastic. I have not one negative comment about the Lodge. If you looking for a reasonable priced and unique location for your wedding definitely check out the Rockefeller Lodge.

Debbie and Jonathan we're very helpful. They showed us different pictures from their events. They listened to us and geared us to the perfect set up for our wedding. All our guests were treated perfectly and the food was SUPERB, that prime rib is off the hook...

My fiance and I were beginning to feel like we couldn't have the wedding we wanted: outside, catering we could afford, no setup or cleanup for bridal party or guests. With the Rockefeller Lodge, we got all that and more. Rockefeller Lodge is a historic lodge with a lovely garden area with grass, trees, two fountains, and a lovely gazebo (the pictures look wonderful!). The lodge itself is a wonderful place lovingly kept up by the owners. Right from the start Debra and Jonathan put us at ease and answered every question, no matter how silly. Because the catering is included with the venue, there were no worries. It was all taken care of, the set up, the take down. What a relief! All of this should come with a big price tag, but the best part is that it is totally affordable! The food was wonderful, every aspect of the set up and take down went without a hitch. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for elegance at a great price.
We have worked closely with Rockefeller Lodge for many years and find their blend of excellent food, beautiful setting and top notch professional experience to be consistant and seriously one of the best values in the East Bay! We have numerous sample images and albums that show how beautiful the setting is.
