Using Rockin Robs dj services was one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding day. He did my sisters wedding back in 2006 and was just as much of a hit then as he was on my wedding day. I received so many complements from guest about how good they were. The music was good, they did everything perfect (and our intro was about ten different songs due to the hugeness of our wedding party, along with a surprise bridesmaids dance). Our guests were constantly engaged and there was not ever a dull moment. They even did trivia during dinner! Rob and his wife are a very dedicated team!!! They even hung out at the end of the night and chatted with us and the family. I couldn't have asked for more.

Rob & Tiffany are AWESOME! They made our wedding so much fun! They did our ceremony music and our reception with a karaoke hour at the end since my new hubby and I are karaoke junkies!

Rob is a fantastic MC and really makes the whole day flow together nicely. They have such creative ideas for keeping all of the guests involved and having fun. Their centerpiece giveaway was quite possibly the highlight of the day and was hilarious. I can't give it away, but it was a far cry from the "sticker under the seat" thing.

I highly recommend their services!!

Rob and Tiffany did a fabulous job at my wedding reception! I was very nervous when picking my dj, I did not want my reception be "korny". I didnt want the traditional wedding songs like WMCA or electric slide. My husband and I are more into hip hop. They played everything I wanted! I gave them a list of songs I liked only because I am very particular. They played what I wanted and also played songs that my older family could dance to, without it being typical and boring. Everyone was able to have fun! My older family danced, my friends danced, and even my nieces and nephews. I loved what Rob did for the centerpeice give away. We left it up to him to make a game instead of the traditional, "closest birthday" thing. Trust me, it was sooo much fun!
Not only did the music go well, they were able to play a dvd we gave them on a projector they provided. They played it a the perfect time. Also, when choosing a dj, it is important they make sure the itinerary for the event flows smoothly. They reviewed the plan with me again that day,and they were flexible to any changes I made. I couldn't be more satisfied! I would recommend Rockin Rob to anyone!

Tiffany & Rob performed an excellent job as DJ during my wedding. They were helpful all the way through the preparation of the wedding day and on the day of. They responded to all my requests, game me all the attention I needed and advices I got were useful. The music for reception and dances fit the crowed perfectly! Everybody danced and had a good time. They acted as a wedding coordinator on the day of and I was pleased extremely with the service. They game us queues what to do and when, we had no surprises and we enjoyed our wedding party tremendously. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rob & Tiffany of Rockin' Robs did a wonderful job as the DJ for our wedding! They really read the crowd and kept the party going! Everyone had such a wonderful time!! Not to mention they stuck to my "do not play" list! Even when something was requested they checked with me to see if it was okay and when I said please do not play it, they respected that and did not play it. I would highly recommend them!

Absolutely amazing DJ's!! They were very thorough with the questions they asked us ahead of time so the day of the wedding they didn't have to bother us for small details. Everyone loved the centerpiece giveaway and Rob did a great job of getting everyone at the wedding involved. A week before the wedding we decided we didn't want to play the Tabletop Trivia game and Rob and Tiffany were fine with this. They were not cheesy at all and everyone had a great time at the wedding. We ended up staying an extra hour and could have gone longer because the dancefloor was still packed! Rockin' Rob's did a great job!

A fantastic DJ service!!

They meet with you prior to the wedding to discuss your needs, music styles plus much more. Rob is a brilliant MC, maintaing the flow of the day, from dinner to dance, from cake to champagne - a truly first class service.. Both Rob and Tiffany are extremely friendly, fun loving, helpful, accomodating. They know it is your big day and will do whatever it takes to make it memorable.

Our guests continue to comment how wonderful the DJ was!

I would recommend them with hesitation or reservation.

Rob Clingaman in Niles, MI is fabulous. He is easy to deal with, music is awesome, great sound system and did a nice job introducing our family and us as we entered the reception.

What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?

Describe your DJ style:

We are fully interactive, classy and fun. We have ways of keeping the dance floor packed all night long creating memories to last a lifetime.

What is your usual attire?

We are professionally attired in tuxedos for all weddings. Unless a specific theme (Luau, etc..) is requested by the bride and groom or the occasion requires us to dress down such in a casual wedding.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

NO. We do have an extensive music library, but occasionally there are rare songs that we do not have in our library. We have a variety of resources that we can get music from and it is not often that we are unable to get songs that we do not already have.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Our minimum time for a wedding reception is 4 hours, but our wedding package is priced for a 5 hour reception.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

YES. Rockin' Rob's always has 2 pre-wedding planning meetings. It is strongly suggested that the bride and groom meet with us before the wedding. Your wedding should be a flawless event. Without planning meetings that is virtually impossible.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

We do have ethnic and cultural music that can be available upon request.

Do you bring your own equipment?

YES. We have high end, state-of-the-art, professional DJ equipment. We are fully redundant, meaning that we have a back up system ready to go at all times. We use top of the line wireless microphones and speakers and we keep our equipment well-tuned and maintained

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

YES. We have a light system with a disco ball and fog machine.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

We arrive at the venue in plenty of time to set up our equipment and test the sound. Depending on the particular venue, we usually need a hour for set up and about 30 minutes for break down. We do not charge for set up and tear down. Usually the venue will provide an DJ table, but we have our own if one is unavailable.

Do you have any extra space requirements?

NO. Our equipment will fit on an 8ft banquet table and we do not need extra room.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

YES. Rob will emcee your entire reception from the moment the first guest arrives all the way through your final song of the wedding. Rob and Tiffany are professional Wedding DJs and will have the right tone, demeanor and style to match your wedding. We will also coordinate the formal dances and special activities you'd like to incorporate into your reception, doing all of this with a touch of class and a bit of humor. We care about the success of your event as much as (or more than) you do.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We do eat when the reception meal is served. It is in our contracts that meals be provided for both Rob the DJ and Tiffany the DJ assistant.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

In case of a severe emergency we do have a back up DJ, but we have NEVER missed an event.

What is your overtime rate?

Our overtime rate is $100 per hour. We do not double book events so if you want to add extra time at the end you can, as long as your venue allows it.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

We do not have any hidden fees, nor do we charge extra for set up and tear down. For venues outside 50 miles from Worcester, MA a slight travel fee may be added.

Additional Advice

Do you have a video you can send us or can we come and watch you play at a wedding?

We do not have a demo tape or video to send you. For the main reason that the video would only show the style or taste of that particular bride and groom, and if you don’t like their selections then you may not hire us because of what you see on the video. In addition, most wedding videos are edited and would lack the information that you would most likely want to see, in particular, us in action. Not only is inviting outsiders to watch us at someone’s wedding inappropriate, it is highly unprofessional. You would not want uninvited guests to your wedding and we would never do business like that. We do have references you can call or eMail and more assuring we can meet with you in person to allay any fears you have about hiring a wedding DJ. Our experience and personalities are usually enough to win over uneasy clients.

How important is my entertainment to my reception?
The higher the importance, the more you should invest in your entertainment. There is a big fallacy of thinking that a DJ is "just music."

You should keep in mind that the least expensive cost of a wedding (the DJ) is by far the MOST important part of your wedding. You may not wholly enjoy your meal, but it will not ruin your day. A “bad DJ” will make for a devastating reception that you will remember for a long time. A wise DJ investment will make for the reception of a lifetime – one that you will want to remember! You won’t be able to go back the following week and do it all over again; you want it perfect on your special day.

Can you provide music for my wedding ceremony?

Absolutely! We have provided music for many wedding ceremonies and have a large selection of traditional, classical and modern music selections. We can help you choose the right music for your ceremony whether it be a most elaborate marriage or the simplest of matrimonies. Our rate for ceremony music is $125 or $150 if you need a lavalier microphone for your wedding officiant.
