My husband and I chose Romanello's because from our initial meeting they had the most friendly and flexible staff we'd met. They hosted both our ceremony and reception on 9/6/09 and did a fantastic job!We booked with them about 13 months before the wedding, and met with their banquet coordinators Melissa and Kate at least 5 times during the planning period. They were always available to us, always friendly and very helpful. Romanello's staff set up our ceremony at one side of the banquet hall, even putting on 120 chair covers at no charge. Then during cocktail hour they rearranged the room and prepared it for the reception, even assembling my centerpieces. Two banquet coordinators were present at the wedding, making sure that everything ran smoothly. We had a slideshow, for which Romanello's provided a screen. For food, we chose to have a paired plate of filet of sirloin and stuffed chicken for each guest, and everyone was very happy with the flavor and amount of food they received. During cocktail hour butlers served appetizers which were also well reviewed by our guests. The bartenders were courteous and very nice, and drinks were not watered down. We chose to have wine pour service for our guests instead of having bottles on the table during dinner, and it seems that the waiters were VERY generous and VERY quick at refilling all glasses.....we got great reviews on the wine pour from our guests, however wound up paying for twice as many bottles as we had expected. Overall I would highly recommend Romanello's South and its staff. It's a beautiful setting, is family owned, and you feel that people truly care about you and your wedding.
Wonderful experience. Did anything and everything for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Could drop off supplies (guest book, place cards, etc.) well in advance. Such an accommodating group. Food/drinks and service were excellent. Above and beyond our expectations. Only 1 banquet room, so only 1 wedding taking place which is a great plus in my opinion.
I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. They were soooo nice and they do everything that a wedding coordinator would do. They even let you drop off your favors, placecards, etc. a week before the wedding and they set it all up for you. No worries the day before the wedding! Melissa was the greatest.
Romanellos South was an excellent venue. The staff was very accomodating and fantastic to work with. They paid attention to detail and made sure everything was to our liking.
The food was fantastic!
What a great venue. One of our dj's actually booked his wedding there after seeing the first class service they have!
