Planning your wedding should be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Romantic Destination Weddings want to make this process easy and trouble-free.

Below are most of the necessary steps to plan a flawless wedding at most Mexican Resorts.







SELECT THE RIGHT WEDDING DESTINATION ALONG WITH THE PERFECT RESORT
Take a look at a few Resorts finding the ones that you think will suit your needs, (Options and Budget) then give us a call to discuss in more detail. DOCUMENTATION THAT IS REQUIRED TO GET MARRIED
Before you choose your wedding package and set your date, make sure you can obtain all the required documents in order to get married in your chosen location. Passports for both the bride and groom. Couples who are already married in their country of origin cannot get married in Mexico. In this case, the vow renewal package is available. If in the event either the bride or groom test positive for a sexually transmitted disease, the ceremony cannot be performed. If the bride has been divorced for less than one year, a mandatory pregnancy test is given. If the test is positive the wedding cannot be performed. At some destinations and depending on the type of ceremony an Apostille document must be attached to all birth certificates, divorce decrees, death certificates, adoption and name change documents.
Important: Wedding ceremony will not be performed unless all documents are in order – NO EXCEPTIONS
RESERVING YOUR DATE AND CHOOSING YOUR PERFECT WEDDING PACKAGE
Once you select your wedding destination and resort, we can begin to see which wedding package best suits your needs. We recommend to book your wedding 1 year in advance in order to obtain your preferred date and time. Remember that weddings are reserved on a first come, first served basis and some destinations have only selected days of the week which they marry couples. BOOKING THE RESORT AND FLIGHTS
Once we have secured your wedding date and time, we will book your Land and Air. There are group benefits when booking 10 rooms or more. THE WEDDING CONTRACT
After your wedding date has been confirmed, the wedding sales coordinator will send you the wedding contract. Review it thoroughly, sign it and send it back to the coordinator. The wedding contract specifies payment and cancellation policies as well as it outlines all required documentation once again.
If you have questions regarding the contract, contact the wedding sales coordinator, but we will be here to help with any questions and assist you along the way. OPTIONAL SERVICES THAT MAY BE PURCHASED
In addition to the wedding package, you can purchase optional services such as a private function, tuxedo rental, or music services. You must request most of these options prior to the wedding date. Your on-site wedding planner will make the necessary arrangements to reserve these services. Payment for optional services are made directly at the resort. BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE
As a rule a few weeks prior to your departure to the resort, you will receive a letter from your on-site wedding planner with an appointment to meet with her to review documentation and determine any additional services you may want to purchase. This meeting lasts approximately an hour and it usually takes place the day of arrival.
