Rosemarie is an absolute dream to work with. She is very professional but also wonderfully creative. She is very interested in telling a story with her photography which means that not only are her pictures beautiful but they capture the spirit of her subjects as well. It's also very easy to be relaxed around her, which was great for my camera-shy husband!

We are very happy with Rosemarie Lion's work taking pictures of our wedding 18 months ago. We saw some of her shots from other weddings, and were blown away by the way she was able to both capture the magic of the moment and find stunning aesthetic compositions. Her pictures were so wonderful that we were afraid she would be "above" working with us - or too expensive. We were thrilled to find out she was available and that we could afford her. At the ceremony, we didn't want the distraction of lots of cameras, and their flashes, so we asked everybody else to not use their cameras. Rosemarie kept to the spirit of this goal, and was very unobtrusive. At the reception we hardly noticed her - and yet she managed to capture images that could win awards. She was also very professional in that she kept all of her commitments to us (appointment for meeting us, engagement pictures, engagement book, posting of pictures) in a very timely manner. She is one of the best "journalism" photographers around, which I think captures what happens at a wedding far better than the stiff old portrait line-ups.

Rosemarie is a true artist and I echo the sentiments that she could easily be a celebrity wedding-photographer.

We were lucky enough to work with Rosemarie twice - for an engagement session and for our wedding. On both occasions she was an absolute to delight to work with. For our engagement session, Rosemarie captured some wonderful images that we used for the guest book at the wedding. It was a fun, collaborative process and the book was a huge success. We received so many compliments on it and it will be a wonderful keepsake from our special day!

Her work at our wedding was just as successful. Having worked with her before we didn't have to worry one second about the photography. She took care of everything and got all of the images we could have hoped for and, as always, it was fun having her around!

The most impressive thing about her work is that she makes it personalized. The pictures of the wedding captured all of the little details that made it unique and that was extremely important to us. We met with several photographers but only Rosemarie had that perfect blend of professionalism and creativity that we were looking for and we can't recommend her enough!
