Royal Carribean Cruise
Reviews for Royal Carribean Cruise
We took a 2-week cruise of the eastern Mediterranean with Royal Caribbean. We flew to Rome and stayed over a night before taking the train to the port city of Civitavecchia to meet the ship. It was everything you might imagine it would be. The accommodations in the room were very comfortable and spacious. The staff was incredible and the food was great. Each day we would wake up and look out the window to find we were in a new city and a new country! We simply strolled off of the ship and spent each day leisurely exploring each destination or taking the planned excursions. Then late each night we got back on the ship for a relaxing dinner and activities on board. We were so busy each day that we wished we could travel longer to take in all that was offered on the ship! Although the ship was packed with over 2000 guests, we felt like the only people on board; each time we went to the pools or hot tub, suprisingly we were the only people there! We dined in the formal dining room at times with couples from all over the world and kept in touch even after the trip. We could never have seen so many places for the price as with this cruise. We were able to explore Rome, Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes and even Turkey and Egypt! It was worth every penny and we made memories to last a lifetime.
we took a 7 night cruise from barcelona on the voyager of the seas and everything was amazing. we had a balcony on the back of the ship. our ports of call included rome, nice, valetta, palma marocca. great cruise!
We took a 5-day cruise to Key West, Cozymel, and Belize. It was a terrific experience, and I can't wait to do it again! The list of excursions seemed endless. We ended up opting only to do an excursion at Belize to see the Maya ruins to save money. We managed to get around Key West and Cozymel on our own (did shopping and visited the beach at both locations) without any problems. I just have to say that the taxi drivers in Mexico are a bit loco (super friendly and helpful to tourists, but drive like maniacs!!).
Great service, but we weren’t very impressed with the excursions.
Royal Carribean is a great cruise line. We really enjoyed having everything planned for us. We made our way around all of the ship. They have great entertainment and food.
WOW! This trip was unbelievable! Their prices were good, and they're staff was very helpful. Everything was gorgeous on the ship. Everywhere we went, every stop we made, we were right on schedule. Even when we were at sea, there were many many activities to keep us entertained. The food and drinks were excellent as well. We had a wonderful time - perfect trip for honeymooners!
Parking was $10/day very close to our ship, within fairly short walking distance. Arrived between 2-3 for 5 p.m. departure. Line was not bad at all that time of day. Still was not easy to find empty seats at Windjammer Buffet immediately after boarding. The trick is to spill over to the adjoining Jade restaurant to find more seats or climb upstairs to the second deck of seating for Windjammer/Jade away from the crowd and eat in peace with better chance of getting window seat for best views. This applies to every day of the cruise you decide to eat buffet for any meal at Windjammer.
Cabin was small. Unlike Voyager of the Seas, there was no in-room safe. No minibar fridge. No interactive television to order shore excursions or view your account. small shower with just a curtain. Important to note that the bed doubles as a sofa and the seatback of the sofa is pulled out by the stateroom attendant every day. Remember you can push the backrest back toward the wall before you go to sleep to create more sleeping space on the mattress, which was very comfortable. Thermostat was set to cold when we got there. If not comfortable, do realize you can fiddle with your cabin temperature.
My first cruise. Was alot of fun. Would go again.
We took a cruise to the Mediterranean. We really enjoyed the cruise because we did not have to plan for the honeymoon. Everything was done for us, and we could just relax and enjoy the sites. With all the planning that you do for the wedding, the last thing you want to do is tons of research and bookings for the trip. We really enjoyed seeing so many places such as Italy, Greece, Egypt and Turkey. The food is such a plus, as it is all inclusive, and you don’t have to worry about food budgets on the trip. They also will take care of the flights and transfers which is a big deal when going international.
I couldn’t image a better honeymoon! Royal Caribbean makes you feel like you are the only guests on the boat. In addition to all the activities and excursions that are normally offered, they also have honeymooner activities and parties. We ported at Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico, and Grand Cayman. Each port had something different to offer but just being on the boat was a good time too.
We chose a Royal Carribean cruise to the Southern Carribean for our honeymoon. We went in February and the ship was absolutely gorgeous! We sailed the Adventure of the Seas and the service was unmatched. We have sailed with Carival 2 times prior and Royal Carribean definately was much better, with the service, the food, and the ship itself. The price also was very reasonable. Would recommend Royal Carribean to all cruisers, especially first-timers!
This cruise line is the perfect place for our honey. We cruised to Mexico in December where the weather is perfect, and the service is first rate.
