Royal Weddings Bridal Shop

What a beautiful, elegant selection of wedding gowns this boutique has to offer. I was drawn here because of the designer Ella. I could have gone home with 4 or 5 dresses, they were all that beautiful. After visiting over five other local Connecticut wedding gown stores, I was pleasantly surprised to find this quaint shop. The women who both own and work here are amazing. Warm, friendly, patient, experienced and talented. I enjoyed every fitting because of the women that work here, they were amazing, I would highly recommend visiting this shop, it was simply elegant.

Royal Weddings has beautiful dresses! I hadn't found the right dress even after going to many shops, but I found two here that I loved! The staff was very helpful and right on schedule with everything. I highly recommend Royal Weddings for beautiful, high-quality dresses. Also, it is a boutique, so you get personal service and don't feel like you're just a number.

When I first went to the store, I felt welcomed not realizing that they would obvously be that way to get a dress sold. They gave all of my bridesmaids a hard time and th only way they would alter the girls dresses was if I went in with them. It was very annoying that I had to go in every time just to get something done. They told me that my dress would take 4 months to come in and it actually took 7 months. They told my bridesmaids that the dress looked fine even though it was way too big. The top of my dress had to get altered because you could see my bra an they tried telling me hat it was normal (which it is not). I had to go to 5 dress fittings because each time I went to try it on after they were supposed to alter it, nothing was done. My mother-in-law also got her dress there and they butchered it while altering it. When she said it wasn't right, they told her it was the best they could do. She had to get another dress somewhere else one week before the wedding. I had eight bridesmaids and none of them would ever go back or reccomend this store. I would go somewhere else!!!!!

From the moment I stepped foot in there front door, I was treated like a valued customer. They were helpful with the picking and trying on of dresses. There selection was unique and that was exactly what I was looking for. It was the second stop on my dress shopping trip and I found the dress of my dreams. They were very resonable with cost for alterations as well as the fitting schedule. They were there every step of the way and as helpful as you needed them to be. I could not have asked for a better dress shop or owners/seamstress.

The wedding dress was beautiful and the alterations were perfect. However, the bridesmaids were treated VERY poorly. The bride and the mother of the bride were the only ones really treated with acceptable customer service. But, the bridesmaids dresses were cheaper than in other stores in the area. To get the same dress somewhere else in the area would of been $40 - $80 more expensive.
