Reviews for RPOV
Finding a great videographer was important to us. We saw a friend of a friend's recap video and loved the edgier style. Unfortunately, the company they used starts at $5,000. Sure you can book them, but only if you fly them out from NY and put them up in a hotel. We scoured all the wedding sites for a company with a similar style that wouldn't break our bank. Every single videographer we found did what we hated most. Cheesy music, slow panning and soft glow. Yuck. Then my great planner told me about her friend's company. I went to meet with Joo and he showed us a sample of his work. I told him that it was not quite what I was looking for. I then showed him the style I wanted. He seemed genuinely happy that I didn't want to do a typical wedding video. He showed me the commercial work he did on his website and said he would give me a hipper video. The end result was great. We are still working with him on refining our video, but the "draft" is exactly what we were shooting for. My hubby picked out the song and Joo took over the rest. http://www.susieandyoon.com/videos.html The actual video he provided us was too large to upload so we had to shrink it down in order to put it on youtube.
I actually booked RPOV based on my friend's (also a bride) recommendation and the review below. The first time I met with Joo (the owner & main videographer) I really liked him and his sample work. He seemed honest and good at what he does. We wanted a good videographer with great editing skills and we didn't want a traditional wedding video. His work was more edgy and hip than others I have seen, and his price was reasonable. Unfortunately, Joo broke his leg a few weeks prior to my wedding and we ended up getting his associate/partner to shoot our wedding instead. His partner is not as experienced as Joo and it unfortunately showed on our wedding day. He didn't work as well with our photographer and he was not mindful of our space. We wanted our videographer to be a "ninja" but he was very noticeable at both our ceremony and reception. In fact, he is in a lot of our wedding photos which I wasn't too happy about. We haven't received our video from Joo yet, but I'm hoping the video will impress us and be excellent quality. I will try to update this review once I get the final video.

Update: March 2009
We finally received our wedding video from Joo. Overall, I am happy with the video. However, I was not too happy with the length of time it took to get our finished video (it took almost 6 months!). Joo initially gave us a delivery date of January, but we actually ended up receiving our video 2 months later... he is also slow to respond to emails/phone calls, so be warned! If you don't mind the slow delivery and response time, Joo is a good videographer who is reasonably priced.
