We had an excellent experience working with Russell Martin Photography! From our first meeting we knew it would be a great fit. Russell and his wife Amber are talented, creative and down-to-earth. It was a pleasure having them capture our wedding day. We were shocked how quickly we were able to see some of the photos after the wedding. I'm still amazed to have found a photographer like this at such a great value!

As any bride, I was very nervous about all of the details surrounding our day and really wanted to remember every detail as it happened. This message was conveyed and I could not have been happier with the results as I looked at my photo proofs. He captured moments that I had missed and would have never seen. I had such a hard time choosing photos for printing and for my album because they were all amazing! Russell traveled from Florida to Lynchburg, Virginia for our wedding which I felt was amazing in itself but hiis creativity and professionalism topped any amazement I had with how far he traveled for my day. I would highly recommend Russell Martin to anyone in need of a photographer whether it be for a wedding, family portriat or whatever their needs might be.

He and his wife make a great team. The thing I did not want was a cheesy wedding photographer. The Martin's are nice people who will do exactly what you ask for and not over power the wedding! They are great and the pictures are beautiful.

After attending many weddings, I have seen a wide variety of photographers at work. None of them can compare to the excellent quality of work provided by Russell Martin Photography! He, as well as his assistant, were prompt and perfectly prepared for my wedding day! They had a very calm but efficient attitude which was a tremendous help during our wedding. They were also very responsive to all the special requests we had by ca[turing all the important moments that a wedding provides, as well as adding a large variety of creative modern photos throughout the entire day. Unlike other photographers' proofs I've seen before, his proofs were all touched up and made to look their best prior to our viewing. He also has a very unique yet distinguished style that adds class and formality to his photographs. All in all, we're very satisfied with Russell and the results of our pictures, and we highly recommend him for any of your photography needs!

Russell is great at what he does. He had extremely affordable pricing, and a great attitude. He spent 8 hours with us on our wedding day and took over 700 pictures. He took pre wedding pictures of the girls, and then the guys. After the ceremony, we went around the golf course on a golf cart to take the bride and groom pictures. I do have to say that I don’t believe that there are many people who would lie on the ground of a stone bridge to get that perfect shot. Although I was somewhat disappointed that a wedding album wasn’t included in the price of the package, I was extremely happy with the pictures that came out.

Russell Martin Photography recently did my pictures for my wedding. I must say I have never seen pictures like this before. He is in a class of his own......he is unique and creative but still traditional as well. He made our day so very special for us. We recently viewed our on-line proofs and both my husband and I was amazed. He captured every single little detail of the day. Russell is easy to work with, carefree and by the end of the day felt like a close friend. I highly recommend him for an special occaision and if you are a bride out there looking for the perfect photographer, you have now found him.

When my husband and I were planning for our wedding we heard many times that finding a photographer is one of the most important decisions that a Bride and Groom will make. We researched and tried to do our homework on the style of photography we wanted that fit would into our wedding budget. The night that we met Russell, we were driving home, and there was no discussion about whether or not we wanted to consider him to be our photographer, because we both knew he was it. Not only is he very professional but he gives you beyond 100% on the job. After rescheduling our engagement photo's because of rain, the day it was reschedule it rained. There was no way around it, and Russell worked in the rain, while we stayed dry. The pictures were amazing. During our wedding, Russell was once again amazing, and made our wedding experience even more incredible and special. It is normal for weddings to have hiccups, and for unexpected things to happen especially when pictures are being taken. Our wedding had a few, and Russell was so great and understanding. We waited anxiously for the pictures to be ready, but it was worth the wait. They are incredible! Everyone that has seen the pictures asks the same question, "How will you ever be able to choose?" We are finding that it will definitely be a difficult but enjoyable task because they are all fantastic photos. We have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for Russell for not only giving us the photos that are beyond what we imagined but help making our engagement, planning, and wedding day so wonderful. Dear Bride To Be! If I had one piece of advice to you it would be to consider Russell Martin for your photographer! After countless interviews and weeks spent researching the internet for the perfect photographer, we were just not happy. Although we met with many talented individuals, we just had not found the "it" factor we were searching for. On your wedding day, you want someone who is both talented and trustworthy. We dreamed of someone who could capture moments in time with both a romantic and journalistic style. When Keith and I met with Russell, we instantly knew he was the perfect fit for us. His work was beautiful and had a style like no other we had seen. Being a journalist myself, I longed for someone to capture "real" moments, not just posed pictures. Russell was able to do that! We are very happy with our decision and would recommend him to many brides and grooms to come. If you just take a moment to speak with Russell and see his work, the magic will speak for itself!

He was amazing. Not only great with photos but very considerate of our time and he did many things to make sure we were having a fun wedding day instead of a stressful one. Very professional, everyone at the wedding was commenting on how great he was.

My husband and I are both camera shy and Russell was so understanding and our pictures turned out better than we ever expected so much so that we are still having a difficult time picking our photos as we loved most of them. Absolutely!! Russell got me out of a pinch, and was there and working the whole time. He took advantage of the situation and photographed other things (shoes, dress, jewelry, etc) inbetween pictures of me getting ready and leaving. He was very professional and easy to deal with. Russell did a great job and went above and beyond what I expected. His pictures were great! Traditional and journalistic pictures met my needs and my mom's at the same time!!
