AMAZING!! We had our wedding back in August 2012 and it was everything we dreamed of. I had booked Rustic Oaks without looking at. I knew after looking at the website and seeing the gorgeous pictures and buildings we had to have our wedding there. We were so welcomed by Anne, Dave, and Emily when we went out to visit. Anne and Dave are generous people, allowing couples and their families to enjoy their amazing house and farm. We loved that they stayed at the venue in the back just in case we needed them. It was raining and storming on the night of our rehearsal, but we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Anne and Dave made sure to keep track of the weather to keep us and our guest safe and dry. I was stressed that night worried if it would rain the next day on our wedding. Anne came up to me and explained rain or shine the wedding will be amazing. The day of our wedding came and was gorgeous. Everything was PERFECT. There was nothing to stress about because everything had already been done by Anne, Dave, Emily, and Alicia Weigel. We had everything at Rustic Oaks, rehearsal, grooms dinner, ceremony, reception and gift opening! We loved the atmosphere and the staff! They were so helpful and understanding with everything that we did and with anything that came up. We got so many compliments from our guests about the venue! We couldn't have found anywhere else that was more perfect for Our day!

The minute we stepped out of our vehicles to tour Rustic Oaks, Adam and I knew that this was the place we were going to become husband and wife. It is a picture perfect venue to host an outdoor, rustic, intimate wedding. Pictures don't even do it justice! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing day while getting ready in the Inn. The upstairs bridal suite was more than spacious for all the ladies to lounge in for the day. The guys definitely enjoyed their time downstairs in the "man cave" watching TV and shooting pool. Our ceremony was set in the backyard, surrounded by trees and looking out over a serene pond. It was exactly how we wanted to start our married life together. Every one of our wedding guests were entertained during the reception, whether dancing in the barn's loft, relaxing on the barn deck, hanging out by the campfire, playing yard games, taking a stroll down to the river, or just taking in the beautiful scenery everywhere you looked. Last, but not least, Rustic Oaks' owners were more like our family on our wedding day. They were beyond helpful and made every second of our day worry-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience from the first day of planning to the second we drove away as husband and wife. Rustic Oaks was the perfect place for our wedding and the owners and staff made everything so perfect! The space on the property is so beautiful and provided the perfect back drop for our wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, Emily was so responsive and right on the ball with answers to our questions. They were so professional and had an answer for every question we could come up with! Using the house to get ready on our wedding day was so great and it made the day go seamlessly to have everyone at the venue. The ceremony space is so lovely, the reception is picturesque and the barn loft for the dance was amazing! We have gotten so many compliments on Rustic Oaks and many have said it is the most beautiful space for a wedding they have ever seen! Thank you so much to all the staff at Rustic Oaks for making our wedding everything we wanted and more. You all exceeded our expectations in every aspect!

I can't say enough about our entire day. Rustic Oaks was ABSOLUTELY amazing. As we worked through the wedding planning process, I wondered when I'd find out that the staff and the set up at Rustic Oaks was "too good to be true"... I never hit that point. They were really just that good. All around, Rustic Oaks is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! With a wonderful "bad weather back-up plan" and bubbly staff to assist with every other need, I HIGHLY recommend Rustic Oaks. I could not have imagined anything better!

Rustic Oaks provided the perfect scenery for the kind of green, vintage inspired rustic wedding my husband and I dreamt of. There is a large yard (where we chose to have our ceremony), a beautiful house (where the entire wedding party stayed), and a large barn (where we had our reception). There is so much to do - a play set for the little ones, a fire pit where we had an impromptu sing along, and wide open space to go for a walk. Despite the anxiety that can accompany a wedding, it was impossible to be nervous at Rustic Oaks. The owners and Emily are such lovely, helpful people. They work tirelessly to make sure that all the bases are covered and that the couple has nothing to worry about. They made our dream wedding a reality.

We LOVE Rustic Oaks!! I can't imagine a more perfect place to get married. We had looked for somewhere that was slightly off the beaten path and felt like "home" ~ somewhere that would bring to people's mind the way weddings used to be - at home, without all this wedding industry craziness and hoopla... and when we found Rustic Oaks, we knew that it was the perfect place to spend our wedding day with our family and friends. After contacting several local venues, I was used to waiting around several days for an email or phone call, but with Emily and the Rustic Oaks staff, I always heard back right away, sometimes within hours! The staff feels like family ~ even going over our wedding contract in their beautiful farmhouse kitchen. :) The facility is absolutely gorgeous ~ especially the renovated barn and the view of the beautiful Red River of the North. We loved getting ready in the farmhouse and having the whole place to ourselves for the day. We had SO many family and friends gush over our wedding venue and my favorite was: "this wedding changed what I thought my dream wedding was"... not because of our decorations or my dress or our cake or anything else, but because RUSTIC OAKS created a setting that made for amazing memories. We look forward to renting out Rustic Oaks in the future for anniversary BBQs, and who knows, maybe even family pictures once we start having babies!! :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

My husband and I spent months searching for a venue. Everything was just a little bit off. Everything, that is, until we toured Rustic Oaks. You know how people say things like, "it'll feel right?" We felt immediately at ease on the grounds. It was apparent the staff cares about the couple's opinions and does very little to get in their way. Quite the opposite in fact; they were excited about our ideas and helped us to run with them to create an event that reflected us.

There were two factors of particular importance to us: to save money and time on food and decorations. They let us bring in our own wood fire pizza oven and liquor, which is a tremendously budget friendly option. Minimalism ruled the decor. That was possible because of the natural beauty of the grounds and the tasteful restoration of the buildings.

The staff is charming and efficient and works hard to make the couple feel relaxed and ready to experience a day of meaning and beauty.

We didn't have our wedding here, but we did our Rock The Dress/Newlywed photo shoot here! It is incredibly gorgeous! Our pictures look great, and I wish I would have known about this beautiful place before our wedding! :) I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet place to have a rustic wedding! The owner was very nice and didn't mind at all that we took our pictures there!

Absolutely awesome place to have a wedding!!!! Everything from a Friday grooms dinner to a Saturday wedding/reception/dance to a Sunday AM opening gifts can be done at the same place. The house is beautiful. The flowers/scenery are awesome. They set everything up and are there for you when needed ... but then give you your privacy when that is needed. I would recommend Rustic Oak highly.

Rustic Oaks is the PERFECT place for a wedding/reception. Very accommodating and willing to do anything to make your event just the way you want it. I highly recommend them!

Beautiful venue! Had both the ceremony and reception out here. The staff is so helpful and always there to assist help if needed throughout the entire process. The place is jsut gorgeous! Nothing but good things to say. Just a wonderful experience, highly encourage others to check it out!

I got married at Rustic Oaks in June and it turned out absolutely wonderful! I couldn't have asked for more!! The owners and wedding coordinator are so easy to work with. They are probably the nicest people I have met. They were all full of ideas and reccomendations. They gave us a list of all kinds of vendors, which was very helpful. They did all the set up and take down of tables and chairs. They have linens you can use for the tables. The place pretty much sells itself. It is so beautiful and easy to find. The barn is beautifully redone and over looks the river. Attached to the barn is a huge deck, that does have a tent over top. A really neat option that we did for (stealing of the bride and groom) was pontoon rides up and down the river. That was a lot of fun. You can also rent the pontoons by the hour and have them going through out the night and take guests out for short rides. They also have nice handicap accessable bathrooms right next to the barn. You really get your money's worth and alot of wonderful memeories made! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, if you want a nice/fun outdoor wedding!!

Absolutely fabulous site! A beautiful rural property on the river that has been recently renovated to be an event center--perfect if you are envisioning a day out in nature! The owners and event coordinator are wonderful--truly passionate about what they do. My favorite part? The fire pit--we had s'mores at my wedding!

A fabulous venue for the bride looking for something different in the FM area. Rustic and charming, with all the amenities and a great staff!
