Norma and her Sacred Weddings group were wonderful to work with. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. We decided to take the large wedding package from Sacred Words Wedding which included the planning, coordinating, flowers, ceremony to the pictures and video for our reception. Norma personalized our vows exactly like we asked and allowed us to add in our special words to eachother. Norma was an amazing officiant and very understanding. We planned to meet before the wedding but we didn't have the time we expected in order to meet in advance, luckily she took the initiative to plan all necessary tasks since we were unable to meet her prior to the ceremony. She made pertinent decisions last minute on which ceremonies to use since I overlooked attachments in my email. Norma is very flexible, easy to work with, patient and helpful. Thankfully she noticed our last name was spelled wrong on marriage certificate so we had time to go back to the FL Courthouse and correct it. On her free time her and her husband met us at the hotel to resign the new certificate. The day of the wedding she had a nice table set up though we also used stones and flowers for additional decorations. Additional decorations are recommended but I believe Norma can do more we just preferred to go to Home Depot and do our own. Again her table with shells used for the sand ceremony (which is highly recommended for a keepsake) was wonderful as was the nicely print out of the ceremony bound with extra pages for guests to write in, it's a great memory piece, since you don't remember everything said in the ceremony (it's a lot to take in).As for the pictures and DVD, you get what you pay for they aren't horrible and would've been better if I would have let them use my camera and video camera. If you want stellar pictures I recommend hiring a professional photographer. That being said I highly recommend Norma as an officiant, I would still use her photographer though definitely would not pay an additional $100 for a DVD considering I own a video camera and could have had my aunt or uncle film for us. If you don't have that luxury it's probably worth the extra money to get the DVD if you can afford it and with her rates you should be able to. As for the pictures I would take time into a factor more since we married at sunset. Norma did sufficiently warn me unfortunately my hair took longer to do than expected and their camera didn't take the best dusk pictures. I am fortunate my mother is a photographer so we have an excellent non professional digital camera (Panasonic Lumix with 7.1 mega pixels and 10x zoom for those looking for a new camera) that is easy to use and takes exceptional pictures regardless of the weather, setting or lighting. In additional I, myself, along with my mother should have planned ahead more regarding any specific pictures, angles,etc. I wanted. Secondly an alternate location for photos besides the beach would have been nice. We married on the beach in front of our hotel so even the hotel pool, lobby, certain landscaped areas would have been nice though with a sunset wedding you would probably have to do it before the wedding so if your conventional and don't want the groom to see you that might be difficult though you could do them separately and a few together later.

Norma gave us the service that we wanted. We ended up having to relocate and adapt due to sudden weather, and she was indespensible to saving our event. The service was warm and friendly and we were very pleased. Some members of our family were surprised by the unconventional service, but that is what we wanted and you can't make everyone happy. We were very happy and we had a special day.

Norma is an outstanding dedicated, warm, understanding Lady. She is full of love and compassion and knows how to give you what you want for your wedding. She puts her all into doing a wedding for you. The wedding booklet is fabulous and a keepsake for us. She goes out of her way in all she does. Her pictures are outstanding and what she does to them is original and many are breathtaking.I would recomend her to anyone who really wants a "Special Memory Wedding"!Norma also provided special music to fit the occasion for Renaissance affair, it was magical and beautiful and everyone loved the music.........

Norma was a tremendous help to us in all aspects of the wedding, from suggesting various ceremonies, advice with the wording of our vows, even stopping the rain for our actual wedding! She was prompt and efficient in replying to our emails, (we are from England and married in Sarasota on the beach). giving us good advice on where to collect our marriage licence, and what paperwork would be required.On our actual wedding day, Norma and her husband Randy, arrived with beautiful gifts for our three children (which they cherish), a brand new camera for our wedding photographs, and our keepsake book with our ceremony and vows in it.Our wedding was perfect, the service we chose included our children and Norma talked us through each stage patiently and professionally. Our photographs and video are lovely and the whole ceremony was light hearted, low key, happy and very personal.Norma has a fabulous personality which made us feel at ease straight away, she is a very special person and we are very glad that she agreed to perform our wedding ceremony.Thank you Norma.

She even set up the event in the rain and performed the beach ceremony in the rain. I wouldn't change a thing..even the rain cleansed the day. She knows how to make your day amazing! No pressure...my favorite thing that she said to me is, "My job is to make sure no one stresses you out." When she said "It's your day" she actually meant it not like all these other people that say it just to say it. If you haven't heard it ...you will!!! I recommend Norma highly!!!

After reviewing several vendors for my wedding event, I decided on the Sacred Words Wedding Designs because they made me feel as if it was a personal treat for them to be a part of it. They planned out the ceremony and reception and all we had to do was show up. We chose a holiday for our wedding and it was no problem, the ceremony was warm, beautiful, and meaningful, and the rum cake was fantastic. We got a military discount, anything we forgot to bring with us they already had, and everything was custom done just for us.
