St. Cupcake

We chose St. Cupcake over Cupcake Jones because they had a wider variety of cupcakes available on Sundays (the day of the week our wedding took place). After doing a few taste tests back and forth between the shops, my husband and I agreed that St. Cupcake also produced cakes that were fluffier and more moist that Cupcake Jones.

Unfortunately, St. Cupcake doesn't deliver on Sundays, so my sister-in-law had to pick them up for us. Not a big deal per se, but still, choosing them as an additional food vendor required a little extra bit of coordination.

I gave them a 3.5 when it came quality because of the way they put sprinkles on the cupcakes. During the consultation, I was asked if I wanted specific sprinkle colors on the the vanilla with vanilla frosting cupcakes. I said yes, and told her what colors my husband and I liked. Knowing how stressful vague descriptions can be — I'm a pastry chef, — I was very careful with my wording. I asked if it would be possible to have some of the vanilla cupcakes coated entirely in yellow sprinkles, some entirely in slate blue, and some entirely in purple. She said yes. However, we received cupcakes that were covered with those three colors together. This is a really minor complaint; it didn't ruin the wedding; it didn't cause me to throw a fit; but nonetheless, was not what I asked for, and therefore I felt it was important to mention.

Saint Cupcake provided the cupcakes and small cutting cake for our daughter's recent wedding in suburban Portland and did a fantastic job. The cakes were gorgeous, surpassed only by the taste. Sometimes these products look better than they taste--but not Saint Cupcake. Scrumptious all around. And more reasonable and fun than a typical huge cake. Only problem is we're now hooked on Saint Cupcake and can't stay away from their store ! I highly recommend them.

Delicious, perfect cupcakes--moist, with the perfect ratio of frosting-to-cupcake. Better than any wedding cake I've tasted. No complaints at all about the whole experience.

We had a lot of fun tasting all the St. Cupcake varieties. They were helpful with the difficult decision of flavors (how can you choose just a few?). Our end display at the wedding was beautiful. They did a great job setting everything up and the cupcakes themselves were delicious. We didn't have too many extra (which is probably a good thing) but those we took home lasted through the honeymoon. I'd recommend St. Cupcake to anyone.

AMAZING CUPCAKES!!! These things are dangerously good. We were able to pick out 6 of our favorite flavors, and customize the icing and sprinkles to match our wedding colors. Then, they let us save over one hundred dollars by letting one of our friends take care of the pick up and delivery to our venue! Way to help out your customers St. Cupcake! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We offered a dessert bar at our reception including Saint Cupcake dot-sized cupcakes. They are miniature, two-bite cupcakes - perfect for sharing with guests! We ordered Vanilla with Cream Cheese icing, Chocolate with Cream Cheese icing, and Vanilla with Pistachio Buttercream. The pistachio buttercream was amazing and unlike anything our guests had enjoyed before! The presentation of the cupcakes was fantastic with beautifully sparkling crystal sprinkles. The cake was moist and the frosting was creamy. We fully intend to enjoy Saint Cupcakes again and again!

We used Saint Cupcake for our wedding desert. Initially, we were very please with our cake tasting appointment, and communication leading up to the wedding. However, we had to pick up our cupcakes a day early because there were concerns that there might be a snow storm on the day of our wedding, and the baker wouldn’t be able to come in to bake our cupcakes. There ended up being a little snow on our wedding day (about a ½ an inch to an inch), but it didn’t start snowing until 11am, and we were originally scheduled to pick up our cupcakes at 10am. I realize that they were just trying to make sure that we had cupcakes on our wedding day, but it was frustrating to pay premium price for day old cake, and they never offered to give us a discount or a partial refund. I’m sure things would have gone perfectly if the weather would have cooperated, but sometimes things come up, and you need to know that you can count on your wedding vendors. On a final note, we were very please with the presentation and taste of our cakes (even though they were day old).

St. Cupcake lets you customize and pick out as many flavors of cupcakes as your heart desires!!! You can pick and choose your colors and sprinkles and have your guests saying YUMMMMMMMM!!!!

I loved the idea of a cupcake tower instead of a cake, especially because there were so many children invited to our wedding. My husband's favorite part of the process was the sampling appointment, where we tried out about a dozen mini-cupcakes. St. Cupcake was easy to work with, more or less affordable, and the cupcakes were not only tasty but made everyone smile to see. I also bought a stand and was provided with a photo book of ideas for how to decorate the simple cardboard stand. I ended up spray-painting it with our colors (blue and green) and lining the edges with ribbon. One of my favorite photos is one of a little girl's hand reaching out to sneak an extra cupcake from the tower!

The cupcakes were such a great alternative to a wedding cake. Our guests loved them. We were able to order as many flavors as we wanted mixing some vegan and some regular. They also did an excellent job decorating the stand. The highlight for us was the cutting cake they created so we would have something to cut.

St. Cupcake has the best cupcakes in the world and created a fun cupcake "wedding cake" for our big day. Taste testing all the cupcakes was so fun and gluttonous. The price is reasonable for the amount of people you can serve. Cake stands can be purchased at the store and the edges covered with ribbon to make a finished piece. They are a little picky about the colors of sprinkles and frosting you can do on different flavors of cupcakes, but we figured it out. Make sure to try the coconut cream!! I recently shot a wedding that incorporated Saint Cupcake cupcakes and they were delightful. Not only did they make for great photos, but they were absolutely delicious.
