The Wedding Show
Reviews for The Wedding Show

While some of the vendors there were good, there was a large inconsistency between levels of vendors, price-points, etc. The bridal show only displayed a handful of styles, and the models were wearing too-large gowns that didn’t show correctly. Overall not a good use of the 8 dollar entry fee. The set up felt a little hokey-to say the least. You are better served to cruise the wedding websites and find great reviews of local vendors!

The wedding show had all kinds and types of wedding business and they were all trying to earn business for themselves. We found a few nice wedding businesses that really interacted with us a bit and gained are trust in which we then in fact used them for our wedding. The atmosphere was very nice and all of the people were friendly and very supportive in helping us create a nice wedding. We left the bridal show feeling good that we went to it and that it was not a total waste of time.

I did not find going to The Wedding Show to be too worthwhile (groom speaking). We did find our vendor for our cake here who we wouldn’t have otherwise found, and turned out to be pretty good. But other than that, it was the same old vendors you would see advertised anywhere else hassling you as you walked around and I didn’t think that any of their ‘special offers’ were that good. There were good attendance prizes, but we didn’t win any.

I really enjoyed this bridal show. It had a fashion show and tons of vendors. I got in free with a coupon they had sent in the mail and was automatically entered into contests. I was extremely impressed with the number of vendors that were there. It allowed me to see those vendors that I had not previously discovered on the internet or who I had decided not to consider. The offered lots of discounts for those of us who showed up, as a matter of fact I chose my grooms tux from one of the vendors I met there. No one was overly pushy. The samples were great. I got to actually taste different wedding cakes and other treats to help me decide what I liked and disliked. It was a one stop shop and there was no way that I would have otherwise been able to see all of those services if I had to travel to individual shops.

I was living in St. Louis, but getting married in Indiana. I felt as though the bridal show really only helped brides in that area. I did learn a few things about what I wanted in my wedding, but could not utilize the vendors for my wedding.

You will find with almost all area bridal events, that they are geared toward brides getting married in the area. Though some national vendors participate in regional shows, it is best to attend an event in the town you are getting married. We have brides fly in from all over the country to attend our event, who live out of town (job or school), but are getting married in St. Louis. They find they can get a lot of planning done in one day.
The BEST wedding show in the midwest. A MUST see! Kevin and Linda truly put on a great show. Of all the shows we attend throughout the year (about 14 of them), they produce the largest and the best!
The St. Louis Bride and Groom Wedding show is an amazing show. The area's top vendors all under one roof and accessible to the Missouri area brides in a fun filled, informative atmosphere. NO twists and turns, mazes to follow from room to room in venues that were never designed to hold convention style events. Plenty of room, ease of access, top vendors, amazing give-a-ways and a sizzle of happiness in the air. A Must for any potential bride, groom, family and friends. Bring the whole bridal party!
