We first met Father Eric when we became engaged. I inquired about converting to the Orthodox Church and began a wonderful journey with Father Eric. He has provided us with guidance, education, and love and we are better people for having known him and from his teachings. He worked so hard for us and was so enthusiastic about our wedding. He spent the day before the ceremony actually polishing the floor for us! How many priests would do that for their parishioners? The choir of St. Paul's sang during our ceremony and all of our guests were impressed by the beauty of their voices.
Getting married in the church brought a whole different level of sanctity to our wedding day. We worked with Fr. John for months before the wedding day and formed a close person bond. The ceremony meant so much more because we had a relationship with him and the parish. I will always cherish the memories of our wedding day.
