Reviews for Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills
I had truly a great experience at Saks, although I had to wait a bit. Amelia was superhelpful and never rushed me throughout the process. Her and her team brought out so many more dresses for me to try, some of them were even better than the ones that I considered myself. They understood how big of a decision it was and let me spend as much time as possible in each dress. Everyone made it a relaxing and fun experience. Plus they have some great designers there from Vera to Kenneth Pool to Amsale. I even got to try on this amazing Oscar De La Renta dress that was on display! I'm still deciding on my dress but I would highly recommend going to this salon.
I found them to be so helpful in my needs. All my questions and request of styles were pull fo rmy viewing. Excellent services, I was able to find my dress immediately.
The bridal consultants and Saks were wonderful! I had to have some of my fittings in NYC, and they were very accommodating. The alterations were great, and the dress fit perfectly. Ulla-Maija made the dress after I had a muslin fitting, so the dress was made exactly to me! The dress came early, and the fabric was heavenly – they did a great job!
I did not think shopping for my dream wedding reception dress at a major department store would be ideal. I was wrong. I truly enjoyed my experience at Saks. I was definitely impressed. The staff is on top of their game and genuinely friendly and helpful! Deciding on a dress was my most frightening task and they made me feel like it wasn't a task, it was a fun, memorable, and exciting time!
Melissa Sweet "Hallie" Saks Fifth Avenue Grade~A+++++++ I loved my dress. I was a procrastinator when it came time to get a dress, but the ladies there were very reassuring. It came in even earlier than they thought, and the alterations were perfect! I've read of the horror stories that some brides have had with their gowns/alterations, and so I was glad to purchase my gown from there, and not have any issues.
Wonderful! You must go if you're in the area! They have such a great selection that it's great to go, even if you don't plan on buying your dress there. I feel like even if I don't get the dress I love that I found there, I have such a good idea of what silhouette looks the best on me now! They don't book that many appointments at the same time, and there is a lot of space, so it's a really relaxing experience. They didn't have the price for the dress I wanted, and originally quoted me something lower (and in my price range) so we'll see what happens, but overall, SUCH a great experience!
I had a great experience at Saks. The women that helped me were very attentive but I felt it felt a bit pushy at times. They were very patient though and I didn't feel bad about trying on tons and tons of dresses. I did find one I fell in love with and had to wait a while for it to be ordered, but other than that everything went smoothly. Give your self time for the dress to be ordered and alterations to take place!!!
My beef with saks was not so much the serivce, but the follow thru. I recieved excellent service from Hermine who was friendly and accommodating but my only complaint is that I felt like she didn't care to follow-up after the actually fitting was done and I was still in the store. Other bridal salons have asked me what I liked and noted it on my card and have even called me a month or two later to ask if I had bought a dress yet, etc. With them, I tried on the dress and they didn't care about what I thought or what my plans were after. So I decided to take my money elsewhere for my Vera Wang Gown.
At no time did I feel pressure to buy or have my alterations done at Saks. I thought the consultants were wonderful and sweet. They were very helpful and on a couple of occasions where I called in to make reservations for a trunk show that was 'sold out,' they squeezed me in (since they knew I travelled a lot). My dress was beautiful and I am extremely happy with Saks service.
Customer service is exceptional and they have some much to choose from. You will find your dress here!
My vera wang gown was a gift and cost way more than I would ever spend on myself.
So far the service at Saks in Costa Mesa is average, nothing special considering the amount of money being spent. Their fitting times are inconvenient, they did not have the swatches for me as they said and even called to say they hadn't received full payment on the dress when they received the money a long time ago, almost a year ago.
The bridal dressing room is nice and big and we are given a lot of time once we are there.
Bought Vera Wang in Atlanta-rush order. Dress arrived and altered in 1 month--perfect fit. Expressed mailed for wedding in Las Vegas and pressed in LV. Pressed again for reception in LA.
Saks pressed my dress at all 3 locations for free. All I had to do was bring the receipt with the dress and they had no problem.
Pricey, but worth it for me, nothing like good customer service. Wore the dress 3 times.
They do have discounts--get Saks card, 10% off; earned gift credit with Saks points, $300 off; AMEX rewards $800 off.
I visited five bridal stores before purchasing my wedding dress. Saks Beverly Hills was by far the most unprofessional and unpleasant of all stores. I expected that I would purchase my dress at Saks. I made an appointment a week in advance. I ran into traffic (driving from Orange County) on my way up and called from the road to apologize and advise that I was about 15 minutes away from the store and would be about 10 minutes late for my appointment. The girl from the bridal salon who answered the phone was extremely rude. She said that I should go home and reschedule another appointment. I explained (again) that I had already driven 1.5 hours from Orange County, had my mother and sister with me, and would appreciate it if they would still take my appointment. She continued that appointments are limited to 1 hour (this was never disclosed to me when I made the appointment), so I may still come in, but would lose 10 minutes for being late. When I showed up, they had me fill out paperwork that took about 10 minutes. I provided photos of a couple Vera Wang and Christos dresses I wanted to try on from the 2008 and 2009 collections. Saks had none of them. At that point, my sister and I just started going through the dresses as quickly as possible, and grabbed what we could. I had time to try on only a couple dresses before my time was up. I still wanted to try on two Vera Wang dresses that the store did not have. The sales associate offered to have them brought in for me and I said I would like that. She said they would be available in about two weeks. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I called to inquire. The sales associate advised it would be another week. Over two months later, I never heard back. During my visit to Saks, I was the only customer in the bridal salon and one of only a few customers in the entire store. Hard to imagine they are doing well enough to treat customers as if it is a privilege to be given an hour to shop in their store. Oh, and the rude girl that answered the phone looked to be about 20 years old. While we were in the bridal salon, she walked into a wall, then apologized...to the wall. Very strange and unprofessional behavior by both this girl and the sales associate -- the only two employees in the salon while we were there. Don't waste your time at Saks Beverly Hills.
