Our cake was awesome. I loved it so much I ate my husband's piece of cake as well. Need to order a small one just so he can taste the cake.

every reception hall i went to look at i asked right away where do you get the cake from? becuase i knew from the time i was a little girl that i would only have a sal & doms cake!!! when i went to the marina del rey they told me that they would take care of ordering my cake and i responded " oh no thats ok ill bring my own" Because I only eat from Sal & doms..they laughed and said thats where we get our cakes from...so i knew it was meant to be lol..they have the most incredible cakes and cookies..i travel an hour down to the bronx just for them!!!! that cake boss has nothing on sal & Doms!!!

Sal & Dom's is our local bakery and I would not think of going to any other place to order my wedding cake. The wedding cake was beyond exquisite and the taste was delicious. I have used Sal & Dom's for numerous occassions from birthday parties to showers and everything in between. I would highly recommend them to furture brides if they want the wedding cake of their dreams!

Do you provide customary cakes, such as Croquembouche?

Yes

Are you licensed by the state health department?

Yes

Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?

By appointment we can arrange a consultation, although we cannot guarantee what flavors we will have available. Initial consulations are free of charge. Further consultations will only be arranged after a non-refundable deposit is made.

What are your tasting hours?

By appointment.

Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?

Basic tiered cakes begin at $3.25 per slice.

Does the price include the top tier of the cake?

Pricing is done by number of portions.

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?

We do offer custom cakes.

On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?

Cakes are prepared in stages. The initial stages are about two days in advance. We do,however, like to have our work orders prepared one week in advance. Some flowers or show pieces do need additional time to be made & cured for application.

How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?

During the busy season we have made as many as 30-35 cakes on a given weekend.

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?

We prefer not to use fresh flowers on or in our cakes, as they may carry elements that can contaminate foods if not prepared properely.

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?

Yes we do deliver, mostly local. Delivery costs are calculated by distance.
