Samantha was awesome!!! I had so much trouble finding someone to do my hair since my wedding was on a Sunday and on Memorial Day weekend. I actually had three different hair ladies cancel on me a month before my wedding. I found Samantha on projectwedding.com and immediately called her. She was available for the Memorial day weekend so I set up a trial. She is fantastic! I brought in a couple of pictures of a hairstyle I liked...she made my hair look EXACTLY like the picture (I've never had a hairstylist accomplish this before). I booked her immediately for the wedding.

She showed up exactly on time at my apartment at 7:30 am. She is extremely fast also with the updos. She did my hair, my five bridesmaids, and my flower girl with extra time to spare. Every one of my girls loved their hair! She gave everyone a unique hairstyle, but with a cohesive look.

I HIGHLY recommend Samantha. Her prices are reasonable and she does on-location hair and makeup. She is very professional and very personable! Excellent hairstylist!!!

I can't believe I forgot to review Samantha. Samantha did my hair and make-up and my sister's hair and make-up. She was amazing. She did an amazing job. My hair was gorgeous and did not budge. It was soft and natural without looking over-sprayed. My sister and I partied into the wee hours after my wedding and our hair and make-up looked as fresh as it did when Samantha first applied it.

Samantha is incredibly sweet and professional. I liked her so much I decided to make her my regular hairdresser... even if it mean I have to trek out to see her;)

– I had originally toyed with the idea of doing my makeup by myself. I figured I could learn even though I have not managed to do so in the 20 years that I’ve been wearing makeup. I finally realized that I need professional assistance and asked for recommendations. I was really surprised at the prices of a lot of the usually recommended vendors in this area mostly because a lot of their websites had a lot of whore-ish or tacky looking brides on them. I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup but had been told by multiple people that I’d have to wear more than normal for it to look right in photos. However, the way the makeup looked on those websites really disturbed me. I just kept wondering how in the world that was the best representation of someone’s work. I swear I actually saw blue eye-shadow on more than a dozen brides on one site. My concern was rising.

Enter Samantha Nunez. I was given her info by a fellow knottie and contacted her to set up a trial. Her prices were reasonable as she was just starting out in the wedding makeup field. She described the process of doing my makeup and she was really sweet. I told her that my main goal was to not look like a tranny or showgirl. She completely understood. My makeup looked great. I was so happy and booked her for my wedding.

On the wedding day she did such an excellent job! I love my makeup and it stayed on all day. I actually crashed from sheer exhaustion around 9ish, (I’m such a partier!) and woke up with my makeup still intact the next morning. Yet it never felt caked-on or gross.

I am so glad I went with a professional and did not attempt to do this myself. There are just so many steps and Samantha was so painstakingly perfect with each one and it showed. My makeup was fabulous and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist in LA or OC.
