Sandals (Antigua)
Reviews for Sandals (Antigua)
Great food, drinks, and entertainment, upgraded us and catered to our every need.
We stayed in the mediterranean village and were upgraded upon arrival. Our room was brand new and breathtakingly gorgeous. The bathroom was especially beautiful- solid marble with a jacuzzi tub (which we didn't ever use..haha)!
We had a lot of fun meeting new friends and participating in honeymooner activities. Met one couple that we still keep in touch with.
Food was just ok. We enjoyed the japanese steakhouse the most.
Vendors on the beach were annoying.
Sandals gets old after about 3 days. If you are the kind of person who likes to experience new things all the time, this is not for you.
If i had it to do over again i would go to Hawaii and stay at a non-all-inclusive or I would take a long European vacation.
We are going to Antigua. We booked our trip through AAA but the real deal came through Sandals great specials. We got $550 toward our airfare and 35% off the room. I can't wait to our trip which is all inclusive!
So gorgeous! It was so nice that everything was included, we didn't have to worry about money at all. We stayed in one of their concierge rooms and they made all of our hotel reservations for us and coordinated any extra activities we wanted to do. It was a beauriful place to honeymoon.
My husband planned this whole trip and it was absolutely beautiful. Sandals created a package that was right for us and what we wanted to do. We went sailing, snorkling in the clear ocean, out to dinners, tours, etc... all with the sandals package. On our 15th anniversary we will be going back; taking others with us.
LOVED IT! Pay up front and do not worry about a thing! You show up and your bags are taken to your room while you enjoy a glass of champagne and acclimate to your surroundings. Sandals is made for couples so everything is geered toward your enjoyment. You can party hard til all hours and meet new people or quitely enjoy your love.
HIGHLY recommend getting a Butler. You will pay a little extra and have to give them a tip at the end of the week, but they will plan EVERYTHING for you. You want lunch on the beach. They will bring a cooler down to reserved chairs under an umbrella.
poor customer service
We booked our honeymoon at Sandals Antigua at the new resort and a month prior to the trip they called and told us that the resort was not ready. They rerouted us to another resort on another island and promised us all tyoes of things for the inconvience. It is now 2 months after the honeymoon and they still have not come thru on their promises and will not return phone calls, emails or letters. The resort was fine but food was poor.
