Santa Barbara Bridal

I went to Santa Barbara Bridal for my Bridesmaid dresses because it is one of the only places in the region that carried the full Vera Wang line. Marie, our sales person (and a manager there) was extremely helpful and patient with the whole process. She even sent me some swatches of the fabric from my dye-lot to help with the rest of my planning. All the girls got their dresses right when Marie told us they would, and she was great helping me manage the process of getting sizing and shipping dresses out for girls who lived in different places all over the country.

After having a not so pleasant experience at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bev Hills, I was skeptical about any Vera Wang bridal carrier would treat me, until I came to Santa Barbara Bridal. They were having a Vera Wang trunk show and I had to re-schedule so many times because of the drive from L.A. to S.B. But once I arrived, I really felt like the drive was worth it. They were so hospitable and Marie, who fitted me, was very accomodating and friendly. Only later did I realize she was the general manager and I was even more impressed by the fact that she didn't throw that in my face like other wannabe fancy places where management tends to be the least friendly. They have an extensive selection of bridesmaids gowns and a small but great selection of bridal gowns. I ordered my dress and now its just time to wait. But EXCELLENT experience so far. I highly reccommend them to anyone looking for a great customer experience.

So far so good. I was hesitant to go there because the price range they quoted me over the phone for their dresses was much higher than what I wanted to pay. I wound up going there anyway (after going to Mon Amie, Lili's, Pebbles, David's Bridal, and Camarillo Bridal, and browsing through MaryLinn's). The person who helped me is a seamstress and understood what I was looing for. The dress I decided on was too expensive for me, so the owner cut me a deal and marked it down 30% and I didn't have to pay tax. They were sooooo nice and seemed to really want me to be happy with my dress. It should arrive in about 2 months. BTW I had good experiences in all the salons I went to, except David's Bridal, just didn't find what I was looking for.
