Doing a destination wedding can be a little stressful sometimes because you become worried about not being able to find great vendors. Early on, I decided that we were going to fly over a photographer to our wedding in Punta Cana. After interviewing countless photographers, we chose Sara- who immediately stood out of the crowd with her beautiful work and professionalism.

Our wedding pictures, and trash the dress session came out incredible. More than I could have ever hoped for. We didn't want to do the classic, cheesy wedding pictures- but we really wanted something that looked like art. Sara delivered. Her pictures are breath taking and I couldn't have been any happier with her caliber of work.

It really is amazing when you can find incredible people to be a part of your wedding day. They make going throughout your special day and reliving it that much more amazing. I laugh and smile every time I go back to look at our photos because she captured every special moment in an amazingly artful manner....

Sara and her team were AMAZING! She worked with me to find a package that fit my budget, which was great. She was there for the whole wedding and even had a computer with our photos taken before playing at the reception.

My fiance and I were planning a small destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale. Since we live in PA, the only photographer suggestions that we had were from our venue and from the Internet. I contacted over half a dozen photographers and their prices were either outrageous or they did not want to want to do what my fiance and I wanted to do for our wedding! My fiance and I did not want to see each other before the wedding, but we were told that it was not a good idea and they'd prefer to take photos of my fiance and I before the ceremony. We also wanted to do a fun, playful beach photo shoot the day after the wedding, but I was told by several photographers that it wasn't necessary since our wedding was already on the beach and we could take beach photos after the ceremony. Aren't the photographers supposed to do what their client wants?

After being EXTREMELY frustrated, I discovered Sara Kauss Photography on The Knot and this website. The reviews were unbelievable, so I called Sara's company and I was able to get in touch with Sara very quickly. To my surprise, Sara was SO friendly and sweet and I really enjoyed speaking with her. I IMMEDIATELY knew that she was different from the other photographers. All of my ideas were enthusiastically supported by Sara and she even thought that the "day after" beach photo shoot was a great idea!

Sara was extremely quick and responsive to my e-mails and phone calls from the time I booked her up to our wedding and even after the wedding! She and her assistant were WONDERFUL at our wedding. We barely noticed that they were there, yet they managed to capture such beautiful and unique photos. Sara set up her laptop at the reception and played a slideshow of photos from the ceremony and "getting ready" photos. They were GORGEOUS and made everyone so excited. SO many of our guests kept complimenting me on picking such a great photographer and kept saying, "where did you find her! She's awesome!" Two of my friends actually said that they wished they could get married again so Sara could take the pictures!

We wish we lived in Florida so we could use Sara again!

Sara and her company are amazing. Sara shot our engagement photos where she made us feel so relaxed and happy. For our wedding, Carrie, the associate photographer, shot our wedding and she was such a pleasure to work with. I felt like Carrie understood us from the beginning and she brought such creativity to her shots which is why we chose Sara Kauss Photography. Carrie has the same style which theirs is different from the rest, she had very little time in between the whole day to work with and she made it happen. I haven't seen my pictures yet, but I've seen others, and her work is great. She was professional, but a lot of fun to work with. There isn't anyone else I would have wanted following me around all day on my wedding day! She was flexible, and let us join the party when my husband couldn't take any more pictures! The morning's pictures that were displayed at the reception were great. I would use her again and again if I could.

She did our Engagement & Wedding photos and in every single shot she captured our personalities, how much love we had for each other and how much fun we were having. She allowed us to be ourselves and photgraphed us as we were. The way she put everything together and the way she accented the lighting and background in every shot, made it a one of a kind. Sara was wonderful to work with on our wedding day! She showed up promptly, created a relaxing atmosphere, and made our bridal party smile early in the morning, which was a feat! She was non-obtrusive and very helpful, and really made our guests feel at home. Our photos were absolutely gorgeous and we really liked that we got to see the pictures during the reception (there was a laptop that scrolled the un-edited pictures for everyone to see). I would recommend Sara to anyone that wanted beautiful pictures at a price that wouldn't put a hole in your wallet.

It's hard to think of anything that Sara could improve on, but for us, the wedding albums were out of our budget, so we wish there could have been more inexpensive options for albums. The albums are amazingly beautiful, though.

Sara and her assistant were very professional and did a great job of gettling lots of candid shots while not being intrusive on the reception at all. I felt very relaxed with both of them. Also the coffee table book that she put together was a work of art, it was more beautiful then I had hoped, and I was thrilled with it. Overall, I would say they were fantastic!

Sara isn't based out of South Florida, but she was on our very short list of photographers to look into and meet. When we all met together, we just clicked and after looking over her portfolios, we knew that Sara was our photographer! She did not disappoint, and was very well worth the budget that we put aside for the photographer. We wanted at least 3 photographers there to make sure that everything was captured, and she obliged with that with no problem. They were all very professional and wonderful to have at our wedding. At times we didn't even notice that they were there, which was good because also asked to not be intrusive at times, except for when they needed to be. We had quite a lengthy list of must-take pictures, and they also worked to make sure they got every shot on our list. When we got our proofs, we were absolutely amazed! And after she touched them up, we were just spell-bound! Sara is so incredible, talented, and such a sweetheart! If you have a chance to book her, DO SO!

Sara was the most amazing photographer we could have asked for! My wedding was several years ago and my family still talks about how great the pictures are. She captured beautiful traditional shots as well as those special moments you want to remember forever.
